Alila Villas Uluwatu in Bali, Indonesia
With a flawless design and a spectacular setting, Alila Villas Uluwatu marries Balinese culture with modern design. Perched atop a magnificent plateau abutting limestone cliffs, the ocean below bellows with the sound of crashing waves and creates a melodic echo with every crest. There are 84 sustainably-designed villas concealing interiors that are contemporary and uncluttered, with overtones of traditional Balinese textures including rattan and stone. The multi-room villas, each with its own pool, radiate with luxury and boast such appointments as private bars, outdoor dining nooks, private cabanas, and stylish baths with both indoor and outdoor showers. There is also 24-hour butler service, which adds an effortless element to your stay.
The setting, along Bali's southern coast on the Bukit Peninsula, seems like a natural locale for this eco-friendly resort. The infinity-edge pool seems to blend with the horizon, while geometric structures jut towards the ocean creating a suspended effect. The Warung, the resort's signature restaurant, serves a menu of traditional Indonesian specialties in a casual poolside setting, while CIRE has a modern backdrop and a bold design. Sunset Cabana, the clifftop bar, offers gourmet dining and amazing views. But it is the enchanting spa that earns the most acclaim from guests. Its design, so soothing yet so cutting-edge, is striking. The experience takes you on a personal journey stimulating and balancing both body and mind. For some added inspiration, take a drive to nearby Jimbaran Bay and pay a visit to the Uluwatu Temple - just one of many Bali's many sacred spots. Surrender yourself to beauty and serenity in the luxury of flawless perfection at Alila Villas Uluwatu.

Reviews for Alila Villas Uluwatu
Bali, the island of god, is rich in culture and heritage. One of few places on earth that uber luxuriously opulent resorts are standing shoulder to shoulder. Of them all,c. A true jaw dropping cliff hanger, perched high on Bukit Peninsula. The ultimate show stopper is none other than its Worldly Famous Panoramic Infinity Pool which stretches as far as our eyes allow and seamlessly merges itself, the Indian Ocean, and the horizon into one. If you are ready for the luxurious-fun-in-the-sun retreat follow us, this way! Alila Uluwatu never fails to surprise us, upon our arrival through the magnificent jigsaw pathway we were let to the water garden then into the open-air ultra-high celing lobby lounging area facing undisrupted ocean front view. We were informed that Alila also has its very own private white sand beach with the crystal-clear turquoise water. That is when we realized that have made it to the paradise. The check-in process went swiftly then our butler escorted us to our villa via private buggy. As the door opened, we turned into 5 years old again and could not wait to jump on that mega comfy white bed and to run into our infinity pool in a pursue to make the biggest splash. Alila Uluwatu is the pool-villa-only kind of resort, meaning each villa comes with its very own private pool, superb scenery, minimalist interior, exclusive outdoor living space with ultra-stylish cabana, outdoor dining area, and personal butler (with 3 options; private, discreet, and indulgent service level). Every morning you can literally walk few steps from the bedroom into your private pool. The best of the best is no other than its three-bedrooms-villas that perched on the cliff giving the undisrupted panorama ocean front view and your very own infinity swimming pool. Alila Villas Uluwatu has been designed with eco-friendly and sustainable materials; lava rock roofs and bamboo ceiling. Its Infinity Pool  has been rated by CNN Go as one of the world’s best 10 pools. So if you make it there make sure you go floating on top of the world in this legendary infinity pool, it is a must. The other two things that are not to be missed here are the ultra romantic all-lit-candles dinner at The Warung and the indulgent spa pampering yourself in the tranquil environment of the hidden lush green garden. Order a set for two of the authentic Balinese gourmet set of “Nasi Tumpeng” serving in the traditional woven bamboo basket. Go for the “Journey to you” full day which includes watching morning sunrise from the oceanfront cabana, having healthy breakfast served in your very own villa, embracing the Balinese massage, enjoying your three courses lunch and dinner prepared by the executive chef, and lastly experiencing your private massage under the stars. There is no better way to finish this magical trip in tropical paradise of Alila Uluwatu, we are sure to be back! Stay tuned.

When it comes to being secluded with your travel buddy this brand exceeded my expectation. It’s the luxury in an upscale level, the infinity cliff view, minimalist yet elegance ambiance and spacious villa with your own pool and chillaxing cabana, this is something you’ll expect!
We stayed at Alila Villas Uluwatu during the Bali part of our honeymoon. It was the best decision ever and my favorite part of our 2 week Southeast Asia honeymoon. It was absolutely breathtaking and beautiful. I could go on and on how I was blown away by the service and incredible architecture. Our days were spent starting with yoga, enjoying breakfast with the incredible ocean cliff views, followed by relaxing at the pool. They also arranged a private day tour for us to visit Ubud, which was an over the top cultural experience. We will be back for our 10 year anniversary! Thank you for giving us the best memories I could have ever imagined.
Good things - nice views and staff here; good hair, body, facial products, etc. I bought loads before i left the hotel; nice pool with great views. Not so good things - breakfast is not in a high standard at all compared to what i had in Bvlgari two days ago before i headed to Alila. It felt like leftovers and noddles were so dry and cold, juices and fruit platters were not so fresh tbh; insects and bugs are all around ur villa and that gave me the creep. Swarms of ants were so close to the bathtub area and those little things dig some tiny little holes around the bathtub and they appeared at night and eaten all those insects on the floor inside ur villa. I observed so carefully for 3 nights.
Spent our Christmas with children and children in law in one or the large villas. All was simply perfect and a memory for life and a place we need to return to. The two assigned butlers to our villa took really good care of us.
