The best hospitality experience we have ever had. The service was impeccable, the villas were gorgeous. It really is a quiet little piece if heaven. Beautiful flowering trees, walking paths, views, infinity pools, I can't say enough. The team working here were all wonderful.

We have just returned from our sixth visit to Damai. This trip was 4 years in the making with Covid cancellations and then Damai closing for an extended time. What can you say about a resort and its people when they honoured our 2020 deposit? We were so appreciative of their kind gesture. On our return we were happy to see so many familiar faces. I cannot praise our "Damai Friends" enough for their willingness to make every part of the Damai experience memorable. They care for you every step of the way and make you feel special. In truth they are the special ones for the hospitality they provide at every level. They are Damai and part of the beauty that surrounds the resort. And yes, it is hard to leave. Mrs N and Mr G

Damai is a wonderful place. The very kind people are making your stay special. And the food… best we had in Bali. Recommend the langoustine soup! Wow. We had very high expectations with all the top reviews and I think it tricked us a bit upon arrival. It seems that The Damai still needs some maintenance after three closed years around covid. We had some challenges with noisy aircon, outside light failure and noticed rather large gaps under doors that were sold to slide and open completely, but couldn’t. We paid for an upgrade to a poolvilla with fantastic views, a very nice private terrace and pavillon. Our advice is to pay the extra for a villa instead of a pool studio as some of the studios actually are extra rooms to the mastervillas with connecting doors. Notice that pool villa on booking.com is a pool studio on The Damai’s website. Prizes on food, spa and trips are quite high for the area as many has mentioned. The dinner experiences by the main pool were worth it though. We had a great stay thanks to the nice people, delicious food, brilliant views, elegant decor, cleanliness and comfy bed. Shuttle service worked perfectly. Lovina Beach, well, not the best in Bali, but you can go snorkeling by boat in 5 minutes.

Are you looking for a fantastically beautiful, peaceful, relaxing, intimate, completely your own place and with the nicest and sweetest people around you - almost like a family - to make it the perfect holiday experience, then Damai is the answer. There is no better "vitamin injection" for the soul. In the "jungle" you lie in your own pool and look out over the jungle, the mountain and the sea while listening to the jungle, if you're not in the mood for yoga or get a fantastic massage - or maybe get a special homemade sundowner on it small terrace by the pool before you have to eat the best home-cooked dinner. The food is absolutely top class too.
