Reviews for Sonoma Coast Villa & Spa
I can't wait to go back and stay at this property. Found it by driving by on my way to Bodega Bay and booked a massage. WOW, I got more than I planned. My therapist did a wonderful job listening to me and customizing the massage to my needs. I had some very targeted soft tissue repair along with a very relaxing aromatherapy dream. The home mixed oils were heavenly and I was able to choose. She then took the time to show me around the property and the lovely villa rooms. I'm booking a trip for me and my sweetie to return next month.

We celebrated our Anniversary at this lovely resort. They rolled out the red carpet for us and made us feel at home. It is like being in an Italian villa. Make sure you climb the stairs to the library where you will have a 360 view of the property and a relaxing place to read. They also have a large selection of videos to watch in your room. This is a great place to unplug and enjoy your beautiful surroundings. They are located about 5 miles from the town of Bodega Bay where you will find lots of restaurant options and wonderful hiking trails that will take you along the ocean. A new owner recently purchased this property and are making many upgrades.

Enjoyed this excellent resort as part of a wedding party. So beautiful and elegant. Rooms are cozy and well appointed. A spa and fireplace in your room. The restaurant serves up the freshest and the best breakfasts and dinners. Wonderful wines to choose from. A wonderful getaway or perfect for special events. Heading back for another weekend in April.

This place is the worst, I have ever seen. The staff is not trained and without any leadership. The food is terrible with only two main courses to choice. I will not return or will recommend to anyone.

As soon as we arrived at the Villa we were asked if we were interested in wine-tasting. We were able to taste 5 different wines - all very good and of high quality. They upgraded our room to the honeymoon suite - so very nice. We were able to enjoy the Jacuzzi and took a walk back to the pond (trying to find the otter). Only thing is if you're traveling during the off season/weekday - make sure they are serving dinner, if interested. New owners are doing a lot to improve facilities and service.
