Reviews for Sonoma Coast Villa & Spa
Lovely grounds led to lush rooms. We have driven by this place SO many times and now wish we had “discovered” it earlier!! Spacious, secluded and pet friendly spot between Valley Ford and Bodega Bay is worth seeking out!! Breakfast was nice and spa treatments are reasonably priced. Looking forward to a return visit!

My husband and I immensely enjoyed our overnite stay at this lovely place which is off the beaten path, it was truly a wonderful surprise. We loved the friendliness of the resort. Bridgitte the manager is warm and welcoming as well as her assistant, Lucy the poodle! We were welcomed to a nice glass of bubbly since it was my birthday. Our room was upgraded which we appreciated; the wine hour was nicely served by Erick, , the dinner was scrumptious, we ordered the duck and the salmon. The food was organically grown and just superb! We enjoyed this place very much and will surely come back and highly recommend to friends. The only negative is the needs a little more TLC w/ the ground maintenance since the lion sculptures had cracks and aging was evident. Otherwise it is a nice romantic getaway..

This was a short getaway for us - specifically chose this hotel because it's fairly close to Nick's Cove where we were going for dinner. What a sweet property! The staff was so kind and helpful! I had made a note on my reservation that I'm vegan, wondering if there might be oatmeal or toast for breakfast. When we went down to breakfast, the cook had made me a special dish! I had a delicious skillet of potatoes, mushrooms, peppers and spinach - what a nice surprise! I loved the wood-burning fireplace in the room and the very comfortable bed. Even though we were shown at check-in how to make the tv work, couldn't manage it. lol Oh well, who needs tv? We also enjoyed the complimentary wine tasting with Eric. He knew so much about the wine and we enjoyed the conversation. Next time we'll back back for more than one night!

I head up to Bodega Bay about ever ninety days to visit friends... Occasionally I bring my golden retriever to run the beach. I usually stay at the only dog friendly hotel in BB, or so I thought. I learned that Sonoma Coast also had a few dog friendly rooms... the difference, dog or not : Great attentive service-- really cozy cottage with plenty of room and a nice shower--easy access to well groomed gardens and fountains--room for your pup or a stroll. The mornings are quiet and the breakfast is a nice touch served between 9-10am, just in time for me to get a nice beach jog in with the pup... Happy I found the spa. I'll be back.

We were here on the Christmas weekend and it turned out to be amazing. We booked this place based on the great reviews and they met our expectations. Each and every staff member was engaging, courteous and ever helpful. The o site restaurant manager, Eric, had a bunch of stories to share and the food was quite delicious too. The restaurant has a gourmet and changing spread for dinner and prices on the higher side. The buffet style breakfast was included with our booking and had a few hot items as well. They have wine and cheese pairings in the evening between 4.30 to 5.30 pm, which was quite a good experience. The jacuzzi is a nice touch as well with plenty of towels around. The place is close (to drive) to a bunch of dining options in Bodega Bay and Valley Ford as well. They have nice wood fireplaces but since spare the air advisory was on, we couldn't use them. The bath area only had a standing shower, there was no hot tub in our room. Overall it was a pleasant stay for us.
