I spent a weekend at Sonoma Coast Villa, trying to get away from the city. Due to the weekend, this was the only place hotel that had a room available and I can’t be more grateful. The grounds are beautiful. The continental breakfast was fresh. The room was beautiful. They have a jacuzzi. At night a showing of The Birds was played with some marshmellows. I would definitely stay here again.

A beautiful retreat! Reminded me of our visit to Tuscany. We were welcomed with a glass of wine and treats. The Junior Suite was lovely and spacious with a wood burning fireplace. The resort did not have a view of Bodega Bay, however, it was only 5 minutes away. The breakfast was included with plenty of hot and cold options. Parking was included as well. I would definitely recommend this resort for a quiet getaway.

This was a GREAT stay for my wife and I! Staff went above and beyond expectations. (This was my first trip to California as my wife is from Bay Area/S.F.) We were there for my wife's birthday. (A complementary bottle of wine, stemmed glasses, ice bucket and birthday card were a gift from the villa) She picked an outstanding place. Thank you for your hospitality!

Surprised to read anything nice about this villa. I went with a group of friends and we stayed about 4- 5 nights. Cannot believe that our mobile telephones did not work within this resort as there was no reception.. So communicating with the outside world was impossible whilst we were in this resort. Also no night staff were available at this resort and I wondered what we were expected to do if any emergencies arose as the telephone line were not working and the location of this resort was very isolated. To make matters worse and the last straw that broke the camel's back happened on our last night at the resort when the electricity power supply was lost for period of four hours from 11.30pm. With no internet connection and no night staff available and mobile phone not working we felt very vulnerable and felt we were in danger. I definitely will not be staying at this resort again in future. Neither will I recommend it to anyone.

My stay couldn't have been any better. I went there for my uncle's 90th birthday celebration and not only was the resort beautiful with lots to do (movies in the evening, roasting smores, outdoor games) but my room was gorgeous. It was very large with a wood burning fireplace and a private front patio. My room had a complimentary large bottle of water. There was a large room where we held dinner for probably about 60 people and there was a separate room for the buffet dinner. The pool area was great for us to catch up and lounge while the kids went swimming. The breakfast buffet was really delicious! I would recommend this place if you wanted a romantic getaway, a large family event or even a company work/play event.
