Great place, awesome service, wonderful design everywhere. Can strongly recommended for a relaxing stay in luxury. Great price for the room and more expensive for the food, but very good quality so it is worth it.

The hotel is visually beautiful. But stop. Terrible service, lousy service. One of the worst service I have ever had in a 5 star hotel. What this is not, as a 5 star hotel does not boast the appearance. Believe. Bad service started at check-in. Because I am a member of the Small Hotel Luxury of The World Club, I am entitled to a room upgrade when possible. Upon check-in the receptionist said he had availability and gave us the upgrade. In the 3 rooms I have booked. Only not. She lied, because the room was not upgraded, but in the same category. With the hotel empty, they lied that gave us the upgrade. The night, to my surprise, I entered the room and was 30 ° C. I tried to turn on the air conditioner and it did not work. I immediately called the front desk and, uh, who chooses when to turn on the air conditioning is the hotel. I was told that air conditioning only works in summer. This is not advised when booking. That is, I had to sleep practically inside an oven. I have never seen anything like it in hotels around the world, being in more than 50 countries. Was offered a noisy fan and I had to accept it. And sleep with the window opened. For the staff of the hotel: this service offered will not a 5 star. Never! Get away! For this price, very high, you get a better hotel and better service!

I rate this hotel 3/5. Possibly 3.5 on spectrum of all hotels. It is just not a luxury hotel and 1/5 compared against real luxury hotels and lodges. More suited as a work conference or wedding type venue (think quirky Holiday Inn not Aman). Service very good, everyone tries as they can to make place work. Well maintained but just not close to luxury as I interpreted from hotel marketing and was priced as luxury which I found misleading. We had the presidential suite which was of course very disappointing. Bed hardest have ever experienced (worse than boarding school). Hotel is miles from Verona. We arrived late afternoon so had to stay first night in room but left as soon as could the next morning. Hotel gave us a part credit on cancelled nights which was appreciated. If you are a regular luxury traveller you will find this place disappointing. Positive side service was good, it is just the physical Hotel that is lacking. Ideally needs full refit incl spa and bathrooms but most importantly, new beds :-)

An amazing Italian Villa / Art Gallery (Like sleeping in the London Saatchi Gallery!) with simply stunning grounds, large rooms with big comfortable beds and the breakfast was perfect especially the selection of Italian home baked cakes! ( I never eat cake for breakfast in the UK but trust me they are insane!)

We were so tickled to stay in this refurbished villa for a week. If you are shy of nude modern art, just look out the lovely windows to the impeccable grounds and the gardens with pools. Our room (and art) was just as lovely as the public spaces. The staff is very, very attentive so get use to some spoiling. Don't plan any morning excursions so that you can enjoy the plentiful breakfast. Just right outside of Verona proper in the Negrar vineyards, the hotel has a lovely shuttle to get you to the Piazzas for touring. After a long day, look forward to drinks in the bar and the adjoining veranda. (We ate dinners in town.)
