Perfect in every way
Had a short break last weekend to look at potential nearby wedding venues with our Son and his Fiancé. This hotel is perfect in every way…… location, staff, cleanliness, room, facilities If our son chooses one of the wedding venues nearby this is 100% the hotel we will recommend to guests.

The best stay in Cortona
Our stay at Hotel Villa Marsili started with such a warm greeting by the hostess. She cared so much about the quality and experience of our stay. Our room was spacious and updated and tastefully decorated with great amenities. Our bed was very comfortable. The view from our hotel was unparalleled. The hotel breakfast (included by the way!) was the most delicious we have ever had around the world it was a veritable spread. The staff were all so kind and helpful. The location was just a short walk from the main piazza. We would highly recommend for any couple or family and would not consider staying anywhere else in Cortona!!

Perfect hotel in Cortona
Absolutely one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at in Europe. Located just off the main downtown area of Cortona. The room was perfect with a wonderful view of the of the valley and lake. Huge bathroom with separate tub and shower and dual sinks. The breakfast may have been one of the nicest I have ever had in a hotel. Fresh squeezed orange juice, multiple coffee choices, fresh fruit, homemade breads, meats and cheeses and pastries. Nice happy hour and late-night cookies. Maybe the best part of the stay was the staff. They were 100% all about service. They helped with medical problems, helped with obtaining transportation in addition to their daily positive attitude and friendliness. If I go back to Cortona, this would be the place I would stay. We just returned from a trip to Italy where we stayed at 3 Luxury Link properties. Although all three were wonderful, our favorite was Villa Marsili in Cortona. The villa was small and charming, in a wonderful location. Our deluxe room had wide windows that opened to a view over the old walls and cliffs to all of Tuscany including a glorious lake. The breakfasts were the best I have ever eaten - raspberry filled fresh croissants every morning, aperitifs in the afternoon and drinks waiting at night. But it was the staff that made the stay so special. They were all incredible.

My husband and I recently stayed for a week at the Villa Marsili in Cortona, Italy. On a scale of one to ten we give it a fifteen. It was lovely. The hotel has been beautifully restored with the utmost care. It was beautiful as well as comfortable and spotlessly clean. The staff were professional but warm, and extremely helpful. Everytime I entered the door it felt like I was coming home. When we left it was like leaving family who I would not see for a long time. I cannot emphasize enough just how nice this hotel is - not just inside, the outside courtyard and entrance was also inviting. The breakfast was delicious and beautifully presented every morning and the evening aperitifs also offered a welcome time to sit and visit with other guests, and relax after a day of touring before going out to dinner. We looked forward to it each evening. We would definitely stay at The Villa Marsili again.
