Reviews for Ana Mandara Villas Dalat Resort & Spa

'A peaceful, lovely hotel with history'

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ana Mandara. The atmosphere and the history were both appealing to us. As soon as we arrived we felt the peace and beauty of the location. The hotel which offers accommodation in 18 refurbished colonial houses, is situated amongst trees, on a hill overlooking Dalat busy town. We decided to upgrade to a Suite as we would be staying 3 nights and would appreciate the extra space ( seperate bedroom and sitting room). Some things were slightly old and in need of modernization but somehow, altogether, it had this historical colonial atmosphere which we love. We liked waking up outside the busy city center Unlike many people, I love the sounds one hears when one wakes up on a hill or mountain. A barking dog, cocks crowing, music in the distance, muffled voices carried across distances, all these daily sounds that are echoed from surrounding hills and mountains, make me happy. We enjoyed our breakfast and dinners at the restaurant. It's verandah tables were perfect for breakfast and the charming indoor atmosphere, perfect for dining in style. There is no doubt that if we were to visit Dalat again, we would stay at Ana Mandara again.

The hotel is in a beautiful location. The cool space makes me feel very relaxed. Enthusiastic staff. I had dinner at the hotel and booked Set Menu 1 for 200k / person. The whole family ate it all because it was quite delicious. Thank you to the hotel and staff. I wish you a lot of health and happiness.

This is my first trip to Vietnam with my mother. We stayed here for 3 nights. All staff are super friendly, especially the team at reception. Every staff at the reception are super helpful, they helped us sorted out different problems and provided their recommendations. The staff at spa are very nice too. The environment is great, we were so relaxing and chilled all the time during our stay. The breakfast was great, the food was varies everyday and surprise you. We just checked out this morning, but my mum is missing the resort already. I must be back if I come to Dalat again.

Pamper yourself a great treat in Dalat

A stunning resort with lush gardens and colonial style villas, each is a unique masterpiece. So peaceful and relaxing! Great breakfast with a view. By far the best resort in Dalat, and close to center. Varied choice of activities, the exhibition of local artist was a nice experience. Highly recommended.

Outstanding Stay

French villas built in the 1920's and refurbished with the greatest care makes for a lovely, relaxing stay, especially in the cool climate of Dalat. The staff were amazing and ready to please 24/7 and communicated well in English. Breakfast provided was above average on most days. Bring you ear plugs as dogs bark at night.
