2nd time we´ve stayed at Chateau des Vigiers & JUST as good as we remembered from our 1st visit. The bedrooms are huge (almost like a suite) with everything you could need for your stay. We were there for the Beaux Village Christmas Party so didn´t get a chance to enjoy the beautiful golf courses that this resort has but the food was exceptional for the function. The main house is also lovely with roaring log fires in the many different public areas. Well worth a visit whether for a relaxing time or for a golf break.

What a great place to stay out in the Bordeaux region. They were very attentive to our needs. The room was fantastic. Very spacious and luxurious. The breakfast was great each morning. Their guest services were always there to help us find places to go with perfect directions and helped get us tickets to attractions to visit. A can't miss place to visit.

Stayed here for two nights as I was playing The Amateur Golf World Cup at the end of October. Room was in 'Le Relais', which is situated a minute or two on foot from the Château itself. It was warm, spacious, and very clean, so didn't really mind being a bit out of the way. Although the hotel was full for the event it wasn't particularly noisy, and the welcome we received was very courteous, friendly, and helpful. Breakfast in Le Relais was very good, as was the Brasserie 'Le Chai' where we ate one evening. I'd be happy to go back again.

We played the Lakes and the Vines course and I have never played a course were the walks from greens to tees were on certain holes in excess of 300mts. I must say the the course was well maintained and the greens were fantastic a real challenge to putt on.
