Harborview Nantucket in Nantucket, Massachusetts
Lighthouses, crab shacks and quaint villages paint accurate portrayal of life in New England. Add to the mix a new Nantucket retreat, and you have just described the picture-perfect getaway. Harborview Nantucket, named for its waterfront location along the town's shore, blends together a residential-style sojourn coupled with all the amenities needed for an effortless escape. There are just 10 privately-owned gabled abodes, all individually appointed with amenities such as crackling fireplaces, jutting balconies, fully-equipped kitchens, and lofts tucked in the rafters. But the waterfront views and bobbing boats are what makes a stay at Harborview Place priceless.
Just like any luxury resort, you will receive a bevy of amenities, including concierge service for help with reservations to the town's most popular seafood restaurants, arrangements for spa treatments, and provisioning services to stock your pantry with your favorite edibles. Tennis courts, sailing lessons, and fishing excursions are easily within reach as well. Nantucket, an island consisting of less than 50 square miles, has a labyrinth of bike paths, beaches and historic homes. You will arrive either by ferry or plane service, and find little need for a car as everything is within easy distance. Reviews for Harborview Nantucket
My Mom just completed a lengthy stay at Harborview, and I stayed with her for one week. Not always easy to please, Mom was thrilled with her stay there. The staff was wonderful to her, and accommodating to all of her needs. Of course, what is not to like? You can't find a better location in Nantucket - on the harbor with a private beach, right in town, quiet yet right in the middle of everything. The apartments are modern, comfortable, and beautifully appointed. The staff is happy to take care of your wants/needs whenever they can. Many people ask if they should rent a house or stay at a hotel in Nantucket? Harborview offers the best of both, You have the privacy of your own apartment, but the conveniences of staying at a hotel. I have owned a home in ACK for decades, so through friends I've experience most of the accommodations. Overall, Harborview has the most to offer. If you want the full Nantucket experience- particularly for a short stay - Harborview is far and away your best choice.

Our family of 8 ranging in age from 7 to 70s had a wonderful time at Harborview. We were on Nantucket to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary and it was all we hoped it to be and more. We stayed in The Windward which is the largest of the cottages and is perfect for families. The rooms are all large and the view is spectacular. We enjoyed the beach, the paddleboards, the kayak and the champagne - thanks Allison and Lauren and the whole Harborview team!

We visited Nantucket at the very beginning of the season in early June for 3 nights. We are a family of 5 which is always tricky finding connecting/adjoining rooms in hotels (especially the older configurations of the smaller Nantucket hotels). After extensive searching I finally stumbled upon Harborview ..... and what a find! It was perfect for us as the properties are mini-condos/townhouses (depending on which one your choose). The units are all updated in a very tasteful, cottage decor. It was nice having 2 1/2 bathrooms in the units we stayed in. Plus, you either have a deck or a patio which gives you even more space to stretch out and enjoy the view of the water. The beach area has several adirondack chairs, perfect for your morning coffee. Not really a swimming beach but there are many other great choices. The accommodations are well stocked with the essentials and you can even have your fridge stocked (for a small fee). Allison and her crew were very accommodating and attentive. Could not ask for better service. Harborview is very convenient to the downtown (2 minute walk) but far enough away that you are not in the heart of the touristy area. The one negative thing that I wanted to mention is that the hotel is across the street from an industrial lot, which was in drastic contrast to the quaint, charming cottages of Harborview. It did not bother us a bit as our view from the unit was of the water and the courtyard but some visitors might be a bit disappointed at first.

From the moment you arrive you are greeted by Allison who basically will make your stay wonderful with helping you with anything you need. To the beautiful cottages set like jewels nestled along the water with a private beach and the close proximity to walking into the charming village of Nantucket, you instantly feel like you've stumbled on to a very special place. The cottages were gorgeous in their understated elegant beach decor and the beds were so comfortable for sleeping. We wanted for nothing and never wanted to leave! Thank you Allison for making the stay a memorable one and definitely coming back!!!

We stayed in Water’s Edge – a totally delightful (albeit tiny with very limited storage facilities) one bedroom apartment. Everything was nice quality, comfortable bed and the views (in better weather) would be lovely. The front of house staff are charming and helpful – maybe a bit naïve. The guest relations dog Dobie is an absolute charmer. Harborview is pretty much self catering facility. Basic housekeeping is included but during our stay not efficient or timely. Some of the facilities needed a bit of maintenance – I won’t nit pick here but I advised the Guest Relations Manager of the issues so hopefully they will be sorted for your visit. The main reason for the low rating is the price of this accommodation is not commensurate with the facilities or service. I understand this reflects the Nantucket market which to a canny Scot is really over inflated but with Air B&B offering cheaper options nearby I think that would be worth investigating before forking out for Harborview.
