Banyan Tree Phuket

Another lovely stay at BT Phuket. We always enjoy the experience of the floating breakfast and my kids love their swimming lessons with Khun Bird (Rungroj). He’s an amazing swim instructor, funny and firm at the same time! My 7 year old daughter got over her dislike of swimming within 30 minutes with his teaching. Housekeeping was responsive although I heard some people mentioning buggy service was slow as the resort was very busy for summer holidays. We also experienced wait times of 10-15 minutes during peak periods. We celebrated a birthday there and the complimentary chocolate cake was quite delicious! My only suggestion is they update the big swimming pool. The anti slip areas underwater can be quite rough and scratch the skin. Also, if not careful, can easily bump into the pool edge overhang, particularly with the lazy river. Not a small job though.

First time I stayed with banyan tree and it was wonderful! It was my birthday and I got my room with delicious cake. We had booked for only one day and dint know what to explore as we had so many options and perfect for couple pictures and even for family. Free fruit in the evening was great and next day breakfast options were too huge and food was fantastic. As accor member(gold+), we got welcome drinks as well. We got a surprise cake from staff again in the morning and they celebrated my birthday. Special thanks to Mr. Niwat and his team. The conversation and birthday wishes were very genuine. Overall it is one of the best stays we ever had.

The Banyan Tree Phuket was the perfect getaway for my father-son trip. The staff were so attentive, caring and treated us with a smile, making sure to remember my dad was gluten free. Rooms were serviced every day. The layout of the resort was INCREDIBLE, from the pool, to the fully equipped gym, golf course, RAVA beach club and access to the beach, it was all just the vibe we were looking for to take a relaxing trip. I also had the great privilege of doing a Muay Thai private class with Bird. I’m a boxer trained in western style and have never tried Muay Thai before so came in feeling nervous, but this was the BEST experience. When you come to Banyan Tree Phuket make sure to request him, you will not regret it, beginner to advanced everyone is welcome. Overall this was a trip to remember, and if you weren’t already convinced to come stay at Banyan Tree Phuket, I hope you are now!
