Beautiful resort, a little lacking in information
Having spent time at another Banyan resort in Samui, had high expectations. While a beautiful resort of a high standard, the disappointing thing was the lack of information provided to help get the most out of the stay. Resort map is not provided and only available digitally (so hard to read when out and about), so can be tricky finding your way around the resort. On the very last day, we found in the banyan cafe a small magazine from the resort, which contained all the information we lacked for our stay. If only there had been a copy placed in the room. Resort website and digital offering is also not great. Very slow responses to queries via WhatsApp, if at all, when trying to book activities. Website itself not great with descriptions for one restaurant, was actually describing another one. Of course you can always call guest services and they’ll take care of you, but expected a little more in this digital age. Highlight of the stay was dinner at Saffron on our last night. Amazing food and great service. Just watch out with how much you order as the portions are big. Overall, a tropical paradise that would be exceptional with some small attention to details.

Last minute decision, paid off!
Had a fantastic vacation at this resort with exemplary service in the spa villa room. Service for Kolick was a stand out for us, always accommodating and great advice. Meals at the Japanese, and Saifron were delicious and really felt like you were on a holiday island. Great massages at hotel and adjacent to golf course and tennis courts. Highly recommend.
