Had a very relaxing experience at the Wellbeing Centre in Banyan Tree Phuket. I joined both the Hatha Yoga session and the Breath & Sound Meditation conducted by Brendy. It was my first time trying the Breath & Sound Meditation, and Brendy gave a very good explanation throughout the session, making it easy and comfortable for beginners to follow. The entire session felt very calming and relaxing. The morning Hatha Yoga session was also a great way to kickstart the day in such a peaceful environment.

My first experience with a breath and sound meditation session with Brendy at the Wellbeing Sanctuary at Banyan Tree Phuket and it turned out to be a surprisingly interesting journey. Using a combination of singing bowls, tuning instruments, and different sound frequencies (alpha, beta, gamma waves), the session was designed to relax the mind and reconnect the body and soul through vibrations travelling through the body and bloodstream. I even fell asleep halfway through from being too relaxed, but Brendy shared that the vibrations continue to work on the body even during sleep. A unique and calming experience, especially for anyone looking to slow down, reset, and try something different while in Banyan Tree Phuket. It’s 1,000THB per person for a 30-minute session.

This is somehow a special review, as we express our view on pricing behaviour. We have been tree times at the Banyan Tree Phuket so far. Twice in the SPA Pool Villa and last year in a Double Pool Villa. We always had a great time. Still being in Thailand we are thinking to return to Thailand next year and be at the Banyan Tree. Therefore we asked for a price quotation. What an irritating surprise. For next year the price for a Double Pool Villa (with already a discount for returning guests) is double the amount we paid in 2025. And for the SPA Pool Villa the prices are over USD 2‘700/night. We have also checked prices for hotels such as The Surin, The Shore, The Sarojin in Kha Lak but none of these hotels went that crazy.

We had a wonderful stay at Banyan Phuket. The hotel is beautiful, relaxing, and very well maintained, and the entire team made us feel welcome throughout our vacation. A special thank you to Eye, Chef Tonkaw, and Sunny, who hosted us during the Thai cooking class. They were amazing, kind, patient, and made the experience fun and memorable for our family. The food was absolutely delicious, and it was one of the highlights of our stay. Highly recommended, and we would be happy to come back.

I stayed in Spa Pool Villa which was newly renovated recently. It was very private and i felt like i was invited to a close friend’s summer house and was amazing experience being welcomed from the villa hosts they were brillant. The weather was also great during my stay and I enjoyed resort programs such as yoga, Muay Thai, Herb oil class, etc. Special thanks to the villa hosts - Pie, Tia, PK for all your warm care and Ton from the Origin restaurant.
