Puerto Vallarta Beach Club

My husband and I went to Villa Verano for the first time, with friends who had been previously. This property is breathtaking. We stayed in the main house. Every room had the same amenities, but was individual in its own way. The staff was BEYOND attentive and accommodating. Jose oversaw that everything was taken care of and our needs were met, Manny, Eddie, Freddie, Tony and Meno made sure that our drinks were always full, that our meals were delicious, and that we had everything we needed on the property. The house keepers were there every day like clockwork. We had fresh towels, sheets, they would sweep all of the sand out we tracked in, and will even wash, fold and press your laundry (if you use the magic laundry basket!). Every day we had meals prepared to our personal liking, beverages provided that we chose, the staff would run into town for anything that was needed as long as we communicated that to them before they left for the day. The foliage around the property is breathtaking! As a plant enthusiast evertime i turned a corner I was blown away by the pothos leaves bigger than my hand, the monsteras climbing the palm trees, bird of paradise plants 2 stories tall! Everything is kept so clean and manicured there were multiple days I didn't put on shoes until dinner. A quick walk down the beach puts you at the pier where you can easily get into town and explore local restaurants, shops, and events. Getting a taxi or Uber was always easy if we wanted to cheat and hitch a ride back to the Villa after a day of exploring. The property is very safe and secure with access codes in and out at the top of the property and at the bottom where you access the beach. *This property requires a fair amount of walking and stair climbing* Part of Veranos charm is that this is not a cookie cutter property. If you're looking for a Ritz Carlton you'll be better to stay elsewhere; but if you're looking to have an authentic experience, in a beautiful location, with accommodating and amazing staff, this is absolutely the place for you! I will absolutely be back in the future and look forward to seeing everyone there again!

I could write a novel about this place and what it means to our family. We have been coming here since 2007, meaning I have basically grown up here! We have come every other year for the same week since then, and every time it is just as special as the last. There are 1,000,000 things that make this the perfect place for our family. Logistically speaking, this property is great for big groups. We started in 2007 just renting the main villa, and as our family has grown, we have grown down towards the beach and renting the beach villas too. I think we’ve had a group of 50 before! We have even had someone from our group have their wedding here, and it was so awesome. The villa is very safe, secure, and incredibly private. The property is beautiful, clean, and perfectly maintained. But, what really makes this place special is the staff. The staff here have become like family. Lalo, Freddy, Manny, Meño, Tony, Eddy, Arturo and Jose - you guys are seriously the best. Anything you need, they are there for you. You feel like true friends! We cannot thank you enough. Franco and his incredible sous chefs never fail to impress us. They make the most beautiful and delicious meals, and are so accommodating to dietary requests/restrictions. And those that work behind the scenes - housekeeping, grounds keepers, security, and front office - you do not go unnoticed. Each of you make this place as special as it is. The greenery and perfectly maintained landscaping is outstanding. We are a huge family with lots of little ones, so to keep the property picked up, clean, and perfect for so many of us a week is no easy feat. If you’re reading this, you’re likely considering a stay at Villa Verano. Look no further and book your stay. We just returned from our week-long visit to Puerto Vallarta and our time at Villa Verano was incredible. We are already plotting our return, telling everyone we know about this magical place and promising to bring them with us next time. Simply put, Villa Verano is the jewel of Puerto Vallarta. We travel often and have been to so many incredible places across the globe—nothing comes close to our experience at Villa Verano. The property is nestled among gorgeous tropical foliage and trees, which gave us a peaceful, private retreat while still being close to shopping, restaurants, and attractions, which were a 5-minute walk from the property accessible through the private beach access, which was convenient and secure. The property is terraced, so every one of its villas are private with incredible views of the ocean. The air conditioners worked great, but we found ourselves opening the windows and sleeping in the fresh air surrounded by the sounds of the crashing waves below. The entire estate is just beautiful, lushly filled with flowers, birds, tropical plants, and sweeping views of the Pacific. Each villa is unique, and we liked being able to book a villa based on the size of our group. While in your villa, you’d never know there were any others—the lush grounds separate them completely. And while the location and property impressed us, Villa Verano’s impeccable service and dedicated staff were unparalleled to anywhere we’ve ever stayed. The team made it clear, through their warmth and attentiveness, that their sole purpose was to make every aspect of our visit perfect. Jose, Freddy, Tony, Eddy, Manny, Meno—you guys are the best and we can’t wait to see your smiling faces again! While we did explore Puerto Vallarta during our stay, I confess that we had a hard time tearing ourselves away from Villa Verano, especially the pool area. We loved the cabanas, the hammocks, the large patio, floating in the refreshing water, and lounging in the sunshine—all with the backdrop of the Pacific ocean. The poolside bar area made it easy to stay hydrated and the staff ensured our glasses were never empty. Have I mentioned the food? We had the chef prepare many of our meals and were so glad we did—his creations were fresh, creative, and delicious. It was such a nice option and felt luxurious even though it ended up being more economical than eating at restaurants for every meal. It allowed us to focus on enjoying ourselves rather than to constantly looking for places to eat in the area. I highly recommend this option to anyone staying on the property. We also loved that the staff were on hand to help us with finding excursions. If you want to go fishing, jet skiing, or need a taxi—they will make the arrangements for you so you can focus on enjoying yourselves. Eddy even led us on an incredible hike to a waterfall which was so much fun. For the location, amenities, service and property, you just won’t find anything comparable to Villa Verano regardless of price point. Often when we travel, we end up dealing with impersonal corporate properties. That’s just not the case with Villa Verano—their mission is clearly customer-focused and it shows in every aspect of how they care for their guests. I could go on, but enough gushing from me—if you’re searching for that hidden gem of a place to stay in Puerto Vallarta, look no further. Villa Verano will not disappoint.

Every detail about this place is on point! The food, the service, the amazing staff of people, the weather and the way you feel. The experience here is like no other. Getting up in the morning to walk right to the beach or straight to our own pool. Being able to sleep with the windows open and hear the waves is one of my favorite things that you just can’t find somewhere else. Felt super private and quiet the whole time.

Best trip ever!!! The villa is such an amazing property with everything you need in making a perfect trip - beach, pool, luscious views, spacious rooms and the most amazing staff. This trip was EPIC largely in part to the amazing staff - you can really tell they are family and are treated well. Thank you so much Jose, Manny, Freddie, Meno, Eddy, and Tony!! You made our trip so unforgettable!! Also, we can’t forget to mention the food. Chef Franko is amazing and so accommodating and detailed with his menu. The meals we had at the villa were the best meals we had while in PV. We were so well taken care of and truly loved our stay. I already cant wait to be back!!
