Amazing boutique hotel with exceptional staff

Exceptional boutique hotel with amazing views. Enjoyed great cocktails watching sunset (Probably the best spot for sunset experience). We had a wonderful dinner, great food and a top notch service. We want to thank Stravos for making our stay very special, we will definitely come back to this very amazing hotel our next trip over. A special thank you to all the wonderful staff you made us feel at home!!

Amazing views of Santorni

Had a wonderful stay at Esperas in Oia. The views of the Santorini Caldera are amazing and we were very spoiled by the sunset views. Our room was very clean and perfect for what we needed and we looked forward to our breakfasts every morning with that incredible view. The front desk/concierge was very helpful and and bell hops made our lives easier bringing our luggage through the tough hike up and down. Fair warning though, there are a good amount of steps so not great for those who are immobile. Overall, incredible time at Esperas and would love to come back next time we're in Santorini.

Beautiful oasis

I wasn't sure what to expect when I booked Esperas, but Iso glad I did. We were in room 110, which was the perfect spot below the restaurant and the pool. This was a lifestyle sea view and was the perfect size room. Thankful for the beach towels in the room and at the pool. The staff were all so lovely and helpful, and despite another reviewer, the transport was a brand new van and felt very safe. Thanks for a beautiful stay.

Caldera "business trip"!

Great room! Amazing view! Working and experiencing the dream! Ombra restaurant offers value for money choices and combines the fantastic sunset and explicit tastes! It makes sense, since it is listed as one of the best in Santorini! Really, there was nothing negative to mention! Everything was perfect!!!

Peaceful, Amazing Sunsets

From the moment you step onto the grounds of the Esperas you will be amazed by the views as well as the kindness and attentiveness of the staff. They seem to be very well trained or hiring process works well given they seemed unflappable even when guests were stressed on a matter. Recommend having the hotel arrange airport transfer, we were greeted at the airport and brought to the hotel parking lot where we were met by David who took our bags hoisting one, weighing 21kg/46lbs on his shoulder and led the way to grounds of the hotel. He also brought our luggage up when leaving and kindly pointed out a shady spot where we could wait for the car. During the check-in we were met by Thanos who provided us with a refreshing drink and some helpful suggestions. Our room was kindly upgraded to a junior honeymoon suite. We thank Veronika for her patience as went through the process. My only comment on the check-in is that a fair amount a data is needed. We had traveled 13 hours and three flights so were a bit loopy upon arrival. If there is a way to obtain the data provided, such as our personal details, breakfast preferences etc beforehand that would improve the check-in experience. Highly recommend a plunge pool otherwise you will need to be near the pool whenever you sun bathe. Overall the food is fabulous. The breakfast, which we paid the 20Euro to have on our balcony otherwise it is included, has everything you could want and more. Fresh and made to order. Anthony cheerfully brought our breakfast each morning. We ate dinner at the restaurant twice, the wait and bar staff were very attentive during dinner, lunch or when lounging by the pool. You do not have to go anywhere else to see an amazing sunset. It is the perfect spot. You can see it from the restaurant/pool level or from the patio of your room. You can also watch the donkey’s and people make their way up the path from Amoudi Bay which is 15-20 mins down hill from the hotel. If you go suggest wearing proper footwear but did see some in flop flops but clearly challenged and there is donkey poop along the way. If you go down, go around to the beach, there are a few areas to swim and can swim out to a rock with a platform to jump, recommend beach shoes as it is all volcanic rock which can be quite sharp. The town is also a 10-15 min walk but as with everything else there are a large number of steps. If there is anyone in the group challenged by steps there is a cab service for 15 Euro each way to the part of town with few steps or for a few more Euro down to Ammoudi Bay.
