Comfortable accommodations with stunning views

My husband and I, along with another couple, rented a 2-bedroom villa. It was nicely furnished and very comfortable. The highlight of the place is definitely the infinity pool and stunning views of the ocean from the patio. The staff was friendly and helpful. Upon our arrival, they arranged for a car and driver to take us to the grocery store to get provisions to use in the fully-equipped kitchen. They also helped us arrange excursions, made restaurant suggestions as well as restaurant suggestions. I do have a few observations to share that are not complaints, but rather things that are nice to know before you come. First, only the bedrooms are air conditioned. The common area gets a little toasty in the afternoon, but remains mostly pleasant on the back patio throughout the day. Also related to the bedrooms - the beds are hard as a rock, just a thin mattress on top of planks. We didn't have trouble sleeping on them, but some might. Second, the restaurant is only open Thursday-Sunday. This was a bit of a disappointment for us, as we were there the exact 3 nights they were closed. Third, the area is hilly and if you don't have a car, even places that are close on the map aren't that easy to get to. We found ourselves taking a taxi to each of our dinner restaurants, even though they were fairly close mileage-wise. In conclusion, I would definitely recommend these villas. We had a lovely and relaxing stay.

Amazing hidden gem. Great staff and beautiful property. You don’t want to leave when you get there. Each villa equipped with all you need making you feel like you’re home away from home. Highly recommend when travelling to Tobago. They are now opened for dinner service with wonderful food and cocktails.

Loved it, 2 adults and 2 twenty somethings staying as a family the week before Christmas, wanted to stay another week but had already paid for the next accommodation All villas are identical 3 bed (except one at the top which i think is 4 bed), depending on what you pay for they open up the extra two bedrooms We were in villa nearest office which had good size infinity pool All staff and management were amazing furniture did have a few stains and scratches on it kitchen surface behind sinks was damaged in 15 but these don't spoil your enjoyment and i am just being extra picky whilst we were staying Cup of Joe reopened the pavilion restaurant and food was great we will be back

potentially fantastic

We had very mixed feelings about this place. We arrived at 6 pm at night to be given the keys to our villa by the gate security guard. The villa was stiflingly hot and with no provisions. Reception had closed for the day. Another security guard, who happened to wander past, took pity on us and contacted the lady in charge. She, to her credit, ordered and paid for free take-away dinner (including wine) and organised and paid for a cab to take us to a supermarket where we could buy supplies. There was nothing in the villa, not even dishcloths, extra garbage bags, salt and pepper). Also, we booked the one-bedroom villa and discovered that we were in a villa with three bedrooms, two of them sealed off. Unfortunately, the room we were allocated was on the ground floor and was dark and dingy. The other two bedrooms were on the first floor with magnificent sea views which is what we had hoped for. We would have loved one of them and paid more for it. Additionally, we booked when the restaurant was opened. The villas being isolated as they are, we feel that we should have been informed of the restaurant closure and given the opportunity to cancel. Finally, I think our Villa number 2 has a poor ocean view relative to others. Its worth checking out when you book.

The houses are wonderfully positioned so each room has a fabulous view of the ocean and the blending of the inside and outside space works really well. There's an excellent grocery store 10 minutes away by car and plenty to do near the villas to keep children entertained. Villas at Stonehaven is definitely my family's favorite place to go on holiday.
