The K Club

Shocking. Had the worst meal of my life in South (one of the golf club restaurants). The shuttle to and from the hotel was horrendous, felt entirely sick after both trips. Cocktails in the Cocktail bar were diabolical. Half filled glass for a margarita with dried flakes on the side and pre-packed lime juice. The staff’s response to our complaint about the meal in South was not good enough. Room we stayed in was totally outdated. Overall, a shockingly poor experience and I will never return.

The overall grounds of the K Club are amazing, with two golf courses, a golf simulator, paddle courts, and a spa. It’s perfect for a weekend getaway if you want a mix of activity and comfort. The rooms are very comfortable and generously sized. Breakfast can be a bit slow – when we visited, there was a long queue outside – and the bar closed very without prior notice. Despite these minor issues, it’s a great spot and we would give it a solid rating for the quality and experience you get for the price. Giving this 4 stars because of the bar/breakfast, otherwise all tiptop.

We had a wonderful night in this amazing hotel. We were given a beautiful upgraded room. Facilities and all staff 5 star.

I had the most magical birthday weekend at The K Club. From the moment we arrived, everything felt effortless, luxurious and genuinely warm — the kind of place where every detail is thought of before you even realise you need it. A very special thank you to Ceaser, who somehow managed to juggle multiple birthday surprises while making it all look seamless. His kindness, attention to detail and genuine care made the whole stay feel incredibly personal and unforgettable. Nothing was too much trouble, and he truly went above and beyond to make my birthday feel so special. Beautiful surroundings, exceptional service and the most thoughtful touches throughout — it was a weekend I’ll never forget. Already dreaming of the next visit!

Just returned from another amazing stay at the K Club. All the staff are truly amazing, every single interaction with the staff was a positive one, always with a smile and caring to ensure we experienced the best from our stay. Prior to arrival I asked for a room we had stayed in on our last visit , however when we arrived we were advised by reception it was already occupied due to a wedding, however she soon turned it around and said she had given us an alternative room which was just as nice. We went to our room and were very happy once we opened the door, we found a wonderful personal note welcoming us back along with some chocolate, that’s going the extra mile . We ate in both the south bar and palmer restaurant and the food was excellent, tasty and hot, again served by such attentive staff. The refurbishment of the Barton dining room is absolutely beautiful, the look and feel that it’s modern but in staying with the character of the K Club. We can wait to stay again next year .
