The K Club

The K Club was such a beautiful hotel to stay at. I had no complaints. It’s even more beautiful than it looks online. The staff treated me very well. I did the horse riding and clay pigeon shooting and had a fabulous time. Would highly recommend staying here.

We had an appointment today with the Wedding Team to view the venue, which we had cleared our schedule to attend and arrived on time for. On arrival the hotel receptionist contacted the wedding team and it was clear from what could be overheard that there'd been some sort of mistake. That in itself can happen and is no big deal. However, instead of any sort of explanation, update, or sense of feeling welcome we were directed to a seat in the lobby where we remained for almost 30 minutes without any other contact from staff before deciding to leave. A wedding is a significant investment and important occasion for a couple and potential customers, especially those who travel to a prearranged appointment, are deserving of basic respect and professionalism. You'd receive a warmer welcome at McDonald's, never mind a "5 star hotel" who claims to offer a "timeless, magnificent and unforgettable" experience. Unforgettable perhaps, but for the wrong reasons. We've viewed a few venues locally so far and each host was professional, kind and respectful. We didnt receive as much as a call or email from the Wedding Team to apologise for the inconvenience or enquire if we could reschedule due to their error. A truly appalling, insulting, and unacceptable service experience.

What an unforgettable stay at our favourite hotel — The K Club truly has our hearts! We first visited back in January and completely fell in love with everything about the hotel. In fact, we loved it so much that we’ve now booked The K Club as our wedding venue for 2028! What really made us choose it for such a special occasion was the incredible way we were treated as guests during our first stay while attending the amazing Rosabel’s Ball. After getting engaged in February, we returned for the wedding showcase and were lucky enough to meet the wonderful Annie, who is now our wedding coordinator. From the very beginning, Annie has been absolutely fantastic — warm, professional, attentive, and genuinely excited for us. The peace of mind we have knowing she’s looking after every detail is priceless. We decided to return again in May for a relaxing overnight stay and spa day, and once again the experience exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, we were treated like royalty. Tony welcomed us so warmly at the door, Caesar kindly gave us a tour of the hotel and the beautiful new Barton Grill, and we even received a lovely personal welcome from General Manager Paul — all before we had stepped into our gorgeous room! This was also our first experience in the K Spa, and I couldn’t believe my luck when I was assigned Val as my therapist. She was absolutely wonderful — kind, caring, attentive, incredibly skilled, and such a warm person. I loved our chats, and I floated out of my treatment feeling completely relaxed, refreshed, and recharged. We’re already planning our next visit before the summer is over! If you’re looking for pure luxury, beautiful food, stunning surroundings, and the warmest welcome imaginable, then book a stay at The K Club ASAP — you’re truly missing out otherwise!

Stayed here for Mother's Day treat. We arrived in the afternoon room wasn't ready so we had a drink in the bar. Check in was quick and friendly. The man can't think of his name took our luggage up to the room he was lovely. Room was lovely and comfortable and well equipped. As it was a mother's day trip I thought there would be some kind of card or something in the room but nothing. I did state it on the booking that it was a special occasion and the lady on reception did ask was it anything special. Other hotels 4 star rating that I stayed in for a special stay would of recognised it. This 5 star didn't. Lovely grounds and walks. We walked to the South Bar could of got the shuttle service but we walked over. We got the shuttle service coming back. Food in the South Bar was delicious and the staff very friendly. Got drinks in the bar. There own gin and a mocktail 36 euro for two drinks. Which we thought was very steep. But it is 5 star so your paying 5 star prices. Lovely big rooms to sit by the fire.

We celebrated my sons wedding at the KClub in March 2026. We could not have had a better experience…the wedding planner, Annie Raferty, was wonderful to work with on planning my rehearsal dinner, food was excellent. The staff at the hotel went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The concierge staff were very friendly and engaging. This was a wonderful venue for a wedding and for families from Ireland and The US to come together and celebrate the newlyweds. There were so many activities for all to enjoy I.e., excellent golf, and many other amenities for all ages, including a playground for little ones.
