The K Club

Just returned from another amazing stay at the K Club. All the staff are truly amazing, every single interaction with the staff was a positive one, always with a smile and caring to ensure we experienced the best from our stay. Prior to arrival I asked for a room we had stayed in on our last visit , however when we arrived we were advised by reception it was already occupied due to a wedding, however she soon turned it around and said she had given us an alternative room which was just as nice. We went to our room and were very happy once we opened the door, we found a wonderful personal note welcoming us back along with some chocolate, that’s going the extra mile . We ate in both the south bar and palmer restaurant and the food was excellent, tasty and hot, again served by such attentive staff. The refurbishment of the Barton dining room is absolutely beautiful, the look and feel that it’s modern but in staying with the character of the K Club. We can wait to stay again next year .

I have just got back from the K Club in Ireland and wow what an experience! It was my nephew’s wedding so a very large group of us went from the UK. My first impression was WOW, what a beautiful setting on a massive plot of land. Once we got to the main entrance we were greeted by a wonderful man who was the concierge called Patrick Donavon, (also known as Pat the Hat) who couldn’t do enough for us. It was drizzling so he bought an umbrella to our mini bus as there were fifteen of us. He helped us all out one by one and then went back for our luggage. Once we got in to the reception area we couldn’t believe how beautiful it was. Cleanliness is an understatement! Everywhere was spick and span, such an elegant place. The ladies on reception who checked us in were fantastic and efficient, nothing was too much trouble. After we had checked in we had someone take our bags to the room for us. Through out our stay we met Tony Murray who was a true gent and so friendly, we had the honour of him driving us back and fourth to the wedding venues through out our stay, along with Brendan Farrell who was also amazing! The friendly staff are so important as they make our stay even more special. Then there was the lovely Annie I think she was called, who was the wedding planner who organised the wedding and made it what it was. It was absolutely phenomenal from start to finish. The restaurant was spectacular, set out so beautifully in a very bright and beautiful space. The food was delicious, from breakfast, lunch and dinner. All the staff working in the restaurant were so pleasant and friendly. Our room was very large and comfortable, with a lovely coffee machine and biscuits to snack on. The whole experience was out of this world and I would definitely 100% go back for another visit.

From the moment we arrived at The K Club, it was clear that the attention to detail and the caliber of service provided by the entire team are in a league of their own. Every member of the staff consistently went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcomed, valued, and genuinely special. It is rare to find such a seamless blend of professional excellence and authentic warmth. Highlights of Our Visit: Impeccable Standards: Every aspect of our experience was faultless. The dedication to maintaining such high standards is evident in every interaction. A Personal Touch: A special thank you to Cesar Manalo and Brendan. These two absolute gentlemen are credits to the hotel; they truly went the extra mile to make our Valentine’s celebration feel unique and memorable. We cannot recommend The K Club highly enough for those seeking a premier luxury experience in Ireland. We are already looking forward to our next visit!

Went away on our first night with our son to the K Club. We were very excited & had heard amazing things about the K Club. Unfortunately it did not meet our standards that one would expect from a 5 star hotel. When we were shown to our room, we noted the cot for our son that had been requested in advance had a rip in the netting, when travelling with a baby you already have to bring so many different items, so we were depending on the hotel to provide a cot in perfect condition as we were not bringing our own. We ordered room service for dinner & the food was nice but side portions of veg & chips were very small for the price we paid. We also ordered a soft drink that did not arrive. We then went down for breakfast the next morning which we were excited for, however due to renovations - there was no a la carte menu, just a buffet - which is difficult to navigate with a buggy. We understand renovations need to be carried out but we wished the hotel had fully informed of us this prior our stay when they rang to confirm the booking as we would have chose to stay at a time when the a la carte menu was on. The breakfast was also of poor quality. I addressed issues directly with the hotel as we felt so disappointed with the whole experience, this was met with a half hearted response and an offer to come back and pay to stay again and we would be looked after. We wanted to be looked after on our first visit after spending a large sum of money.

Amazing hotel and front of house people lovely and v attentive-especially Tony who dropped me into the village! Such fab rooms, amazing rooms and beautiful grounds. Fab night away with the girls!
