The K Club

My husband and I stayed at The K Club the day after our wedding, and I genuinely don't think we could have chosen a more perfect place to spend our first night away as newlyweds. Our honeymoon flight was changed from Sunday to Monday, so we rang The K Club quite last minute and from that very first phone call, the experience was exceptional. What could have been a stressful change of plans ended up becoming one of the loveliest parts of our wedding weekend. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel so incredibly welcome. Tony Murray greeted us at the door and was an absolute gentleman so warm, informative and genuinely welcoming. It immediately set the tone for our stay. Eve at reception was just wonderful. She was so kind, friendly and attentive, and made us feel so special as newlyweds. We were then absolutely blown away to discover that we had been upgraded to the Presidential Suite. It was incredible and such an unexpected gesture. After the whirlwind of our wedding weekend, being able to relax there together was something we will always remember. What really stood out to us, though, was the people. Every member of staff we encountered seemed genuinely interested in whether we were enjoying our stay. Nothing felt forced or rehearsed, the warmth and hospitality were exceptional. Breakfast on Monday morning was another highlight. The whole team were fantastic, and Oisín, who looked after our table, was an absolute dote. He was so friendly and lovely to chat to, and was the perfect final touch to an already amazing stay. We arrived at The K Club because our travel plans had unexpectedly changed, but we left feeling like that change happened for a reason. To Tony, Eve, Oisín and the entire team at The K Club, thank you for looking after us so incredibly well and for making two newlyweds feel so special. We will absolutely be back. I absolutely loved my stay at The K Club Resort! ❤️ The resort was amazing, but what truly made the experience special was the incredible staff. Everyone was so warm, caring, friendly, and genuinely attentive throughout our stay. They made us feel so welcomed and looked after us with so much love. The food was really good, and the overall atmosphere was fantastic. The Friday and Saturday party vibes were amazing, and the free-flow drinks made the experience even more enjoyable. 🥂🎶 I really loved the place and the overall vibe. This was actually my second time visiting The Club Resort, and I can confidently say that I would love to come back again. Definitely a place I would recommend to anyone looking for great hospitality, good food, amazing vibes, and a fun party experience! ❤️

My issue is that I wasn't even afforded the opportunity to make a booking. Appalling service from Reservations. The lady that answered the phone didn't understand what a corporate rate was and she transferred me to Reservations. I had 3 phone calls with reservations each occasion saying they would call me back. No call back, no email. I had explained I wanted to book for my husband and myself and also that I had 3 couples coming to Ireland and would be interested in booking them in to the K Club. Obviously not interested in potential business either. I find it unbelievable that a hotel of any star could treat people in such a manner. I rang a 4th time and asked for the Reservations Manager's email address, I emailed her directly and didn't even receive a response. Needless to say wont be dealing with K Club anytime again, I booked another hotel was treated in a manner which I would have expected and also booked my 3 couples in there.

We recently spent 5 wonderful nights at The K Club celebrating a special occasion, and it proved to be one of the most welcoming hotels we have ever stayed in. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel completely at home, everyone was warm, friendly, and genuinely forthcoming. The attention to detail was top-notch; arriving to a delicious chocolate cake in our room to mark our celebration was a delightful touch that we truly appreciated! Our room was spacious, comfortable, and very pleasant. The decor is a bit outdated, and our only real issue was that the bathroom was quite cold during the chilly nights, a bit of extra heating there would make a world of difference. I had a wonderful experience at the spa, where I booked a facial with the lovely Mona. By a fantastic coincidence, we discovered we share the same nationality and enjoyed a delightful chat in our mother tongue. She did an absolute marvel of a job, I felt deeply relaxed afterward, and my skin looked beautiful. It was such a warm, personalized touch to our stay. The golf experience was top-tier. Both courses were in fantastic condition and presented a great, engaging challenge. Tee-time scheduling was flawless with zero delays. The golf shops are exceptionally well-stocked with lovely gear. The shuttle service between the courses, hotel, and restaurants was equally impressive, we never had to wait, and the drivers were fantastic. My only minor suggestion for golf would be upgrading the buggies, as they currently lack a GPS and a ball washer, which would be welcome additions for a course of this caliber. The food quality was overall very good. However, evening dining options were a bit limited during a 5-night stay. Expanding the dinner menus or adding more dining variety would really elevate the multi-night experience. Overall, the warmth of the team, the smooth operations, and the incredible atmosphere made this a memorable stay. We would happily return!

My list of praises for the K Club and staff are endless! It is truly a magical place. Brendan, Cesar, Jack, and Bruna made our stay especially memorable. These four, including the rest of the staff, are courteous, positive, classy, and helpful. I would and do recommend the club to anyone and everyone looking for a little slice of heaven. Easy to get to, beautiful grounds, great customer service, amazing food, stunning rooms, incredible history.... the list is endless. Thank you, K Club for allowing our family to have a special place to come together and make memories. Can't wait till next time!
