All I can say is Oh My God! Went to have an evening meal in the K Club and I have to say it was the best meal I have ever eaten! Sincere compliments to the head chef Kevin McGratten, he nailed every bit of food that was put out in front of us! There was a Ball on in the hotel on the night we attended dinner and the hotel staff still made us feel very welcome and were so helpful! Such a lovely, relaxing evening! Best steak and mixed berry daiquiri I have ever tasted! 👌🏽👨‍🍳

Set on the rural banks of the famous River Liffey, this has to be one of Ireland's finest hotels. Two golf courses, one of which hosted the Ryder Cup and an amazing spa combine with wonderfully courteous staff and top quality cuisine to make this such a memorable trip. I last came here 10 years ago and shared the driving range outside of the reception with a Tiger Woods. An amazing must see must stay venue for any travellers to Ireland. Clean spacious rooms complete with everything you'd need for a weekend break. Just ensure you specify a room with a view, either of the river or golf course. I had trees at the back which although quiet I felt a little cheated of the magnificent views available.

My wife had a business meeting at the K Club so we spent three nights there after two nights in Dublin. The K Club is between 30-45 minutes outside of Dublin in the very small town of Straffan in Kildare County. When you step into the lobby, it is as if you are in a different era. The staff was friendly and helpful and our room was spacious with a lovely large bathroom. The only complaint I had about Room 77 was the awful wifi connection. But as soon as we stepped into the hallway. the reception was great. Fortunately there are many nooks and crannies with comfortable chairs and sofas that allow you to relax with your tablet or phone. The breakfast buffet was wonderful. With everything from oatmeal and fruit to the best breakfast sausages I've ever had. I usually don't eat much red meat but the Irish meat was all locally sourced, grass fed and chemical free, We had one dinner at the hotel and it was also lovely. The dining room is elegant and romantically lit. The K Club is located on 550 acres with two golf courses on site.We took a hike around the grounds and because Hurricane Ophelia had hit 2 days before there were many fallen trees blocking paths. But the grounds crew was hard at work clearing the wood. There is large fitness center with a large pool. And a luxurious spa. We had massages one rainy afternoon and felt wonderfully refreshed. My only complaint was the cost of a car service to get back to Dublin. While an Uber was 50 Euros to get to the K Club, the car service the hotel arranged was 90 Euros to get back into the city. There is also a bus line about 5 minutes away for less than 5 Euros but it only stops once an hour. I would love to return some day and play the golf course which hosted the Ryder Cup.

Stayed 2 nights and wish it could have been for longer. The hotel and grounds are beautiful. All the staff were always helpful, friendly and polite and made us feel welcome. The breakfast is plentiful. We ate at Legend both nights and found the waitresses to be polite and always smiling and the food great. The swimming pool was a good size, with specific hours for children, which seemed to overrun at times. The spa treatments are excellent as were the staff. Our room was beautiful, comfortable and very clean. Only slight issue was the Wi-Fi, very slow to none existent at times. Would definitely stay again.

I recently had an overnight stay at the K Club for a special occasion. Our room was in pristine condition, immaculately clean with stunning views. All the staff particularly Brian at the front desk were very courteous and made the stay feel special. Dinner in Legends was delicious and quite reasonably priced and the staff were lovely as were the drivers of the courtesy bus. We had drinks in both Vintage Crop cocktail bar and Media Puzzle lounge. Nice atmosphere in both. The only aspect that let the stay down was breakfast, we had to queue for 15minutes before we were seated. This was at 9:35am so not very late. When we did get in, the scrambled egg was gone and not replaced for 5mins, there were no glasses beside the juice and we had finished our breakfast by the time the tea and cold toast arrived. We were sat beside the grand piano which was covered in dust and pieces of thread etc. In hindsight it may have been better to get breakfast to our room. Overall the stay was very enjoyable but just a few aspects need to be worked on in my opinion to give it the seamless experience of a five star. That said, I would still recommend and would like to visit again.
