Haven of peace and luxury in Ubud
I had a dream holiday at Viceroy in early April with my family. We had a luxury villa with spacious upstairs and downstairs bedrooms and our own swimming pool overlooking a lush green river valley. The accommodation was well maintained with all amenities and top class house keeping. A buggy was available at all times to visit all areas of the resort. The reception area of the hotel is done in nice Balinese style and also has a fabulous jade sculpture and photos preserved from the olden days. The breakfast at Cascades was always a treat with plenty of options and very personalised attentive service from all the staff. We also enjoyed lunches and dinners in Cascades. The complimentary drinks and canape at the bar attached to Apertif restaurant were enjoyed in excellent surroundings. The spa facilities were some of the best I have seen not just in Bali but the whole world. The resort is only about 10- 15 minutes away from Ubud and complimentary shuttle was available. All the staff at the resort are well trained, polite and provide excellent service. Adhi and Puspa in Reception and Wiratta, Margi as buggy drivers are the ones I managed to remember the most but every member of the staff was very helpful. Patrick, general manager, enquired regularly to ensure we were being well looked after. Overall I recommend this 5 star resort for your Ubud stay for its lush green surroundings, fabulous looking villas, gourmet food and 5 star service 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

The Viceroy is a incredible hotel
The Viceroy was fantastic in every way. The room and views were incredible with all the amenities you would expect from a 5-star hotel. The service at the restaurant was superb and the car shuttle was friendly and super reliable. The food was nicely done with great Indonesian specialties. The spa was incredible and with a great price point. It was sad to leave and would go back tomorrow.

A must stay in Ubud, Bali.
The Viceroy is an amazing place to stay when in Ubud, Bali. We were blown away by how beautiful and impeccably maintained the property is. The 2 restaurants, both casual and more formal, were both 5 star. Our Deluxe Pool Villa suite was by far the best accommodations we’ve had. The staff are wonderfully friendly, helpful and always smiling. My wife and I had couples massage twice at the spa, which was also amazing. Thank you to all who made our stay a most memorable one. We will be back for sure!

Outstanding experience at Viceroy Bali
My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful stay at the Viceroy Bali in Ubud, recently. We went to Ubud to experience the "scene" (I have been to Bali several times, long ago), but the Viceroy stole the show! We are fortunate enough to stay in some very nice hotels and properties around the world, but the Viceroy took that experience to another level. We were so thoroughly impressed, both with the room (we had a private villa), the service, and the restaurant, and even the bar stands out! It was truly an unforgettable trip. I have to give special mention to the hotel staff, both the locals and the expats - terrific service, so friendly, and so helpful. Above and beyond the ordinary. We are not special people, or famous, or anything like that, but they made us feel so special that you would have thought we were! The friendliness of the staff throughout the property really impressed us (and like I said, we stay at some wonderful hotels around the world). Definite 5 star property. I also have to give special mention to the restaurant Asterik, as it was such an amazing dinner. Definitely Michelin quality throughout, and then after dinner, we enjoyed the lovely bar area. Normally a bar area is nice, but not worth special mention - the Viceroy bar is a different story. It has an "old world" feel to it that is hard to adequately describe. It's just got a vibe that you have to experience, with wonderful bar staff, and a cigar room as well! Nicely done on the Bar, Viceroy! And to top it off, after dinner we had the pleasure of making the acquaintance of the restaurant manager, Tomas, in the bar, and he was engaging, friendly and fun (and very knowledgeable about wine). Really capped our visit at the Viceroy. So happy we "splurged" to stay there. It's possible to get much cheaper accommodations in Ubud and Bali, but if you are going to splurge, this is the place to do it, and it's still a fraction of the price of what you would pay at any of the typical European cities that are popular tourist destinations. I would love to visit and stay there again!
