Viceroy Bali

We will remember the beauty of the hotel, the friendliness and service levels provided by the staff, the location, the restaurant, the room. At all times the staff went above and beyond to make sure we got the experience we wanted. Our room was incredible: its size, the private pool with an amazing view, the Bale to enjoy the afternoon or the evening. It was perfect. The hotel provides a shuttle into to town, or if you prefer you can organise a car into and back from town. A good marker of a great hotel is staff turnover. We met staff members (and more than a few) that have been there since more or less the opening. That says a lot on the quality of the place and of the management. Next time we are in Ubud we will certainly stay there!

A magical experience filled with genuine Bailenese hospitality and style. The attention to detail is exquisite yet personable. A hidden oasis of tranquility with breathtaking views, coupled with outstanding food left a lasting memory. The Aperitif restaurant is one of the finest restaurants in Bali if not the whole of South East Asia. Thank you Patrick and all of the staff for making this a very special place. I can't wait to return.

The staff were all kind, and the facilities and meals were excellent. It's a wonderful hotel, perfect for spending the day by the poolside with drinks or heading out sightseeing. Personally, I really enjoyed the end-of-month Friday BBQ, so I hope it can be held more often. I'll be back.

One of the most private and luxurious stays in Ubud. The staff’s warmth, the quality of the food, and the in-room controls all exceed those of many five-star resorts. They even preheat the pool upon request, and the two shuttle services to central Ubud are very convenient.Guests here also respect each other’s privacy, creating an atmosphere of complete peace and relaxation. This was my second visit, and I’m certain it won’t be my last. I highly recommend this property to my family, friends, and anyone seeking a truly serene luxury experience in Ubud.

And the experience at Aperitif, with its Michelin-starred chef, is truly one of a kind. Every dish is a masterpiece, a perfect blend of creativity and precision that makes every meal feel like a special occasion. I feel a deep sense of connection as I explore the stunning surroundings of Ubud. From the peaceful temples to the lush rice fields and charming boutiques, every moment spent here feels like a reminder to slow down, reflect, and appreciate the beauty in the world around us. The staff here at Viceroy Bali add an extra layer of warmth to this experience. Their genuine care and attentiveness create an atmosphere of peace and comfort, making every moment feel special. I am grateful for these encounters, the serenity this place offers, and the kindness I’ve been surrounded by. I know these moments will continue to inspire and guide me on my journey.
