Viceroy Bali

We had a wonderful stay at Viceroy Bali. From the very beginning, the experience was impressive. The hotel sent a thoughtful welcome email in advance, asking for details such as our arrival time, whether we would like the pool pre-heated, and if we preferred the air conditioning to be turned on before arrival. These small touches made us feel truly cared for. Our tour in Indonesia was quite challenging, but our one-night stay at this hotel ended the trip on a perfect note. The breakfast was also excellent, and we thoroughly enjoyed every moment of our stay. It was truly a memorable experience.

What a beautiful resort, away from the bustle of Seminyak and Canggu. The attention to detail, attentive and genuine service was amazing. Stayed in the Terrace Pool Villa and it was amazing. What luxury to have a heated pool too. Do not miss dinner at Aperitif and expertly crafted cocktails at Pinstripe Bar. Both deserve independent reviews. We will remember the beauty of the hotel, the friendliness and service levels provided by the staff, the location, the restaurant, the room. At all times the staff went above and beyond to make sure we got the experience we wanted. Our room was incredible: its size, the private pool with an amazing view, the Bale to enjoy the afternoon or the evening. It was perfect. The hotel provides a shuttle into to town, or if you prefer you can organise a car into and back from town. A good marker of a great hotel is staff turnover. We met staff members (and more than a few) that have been there since more or less the opening. That says a lot on the quality of the place and of the management. Next time we are in Ubud we will certainly stay there!

A magical experience filled with genuine Bailenese hospitality and style. The attention to detail is exquisite yet personable. A hidden oasis of tranquility with breathtaking views, coupled with outstanding food left a lasting memory. The Aperitif restaurant is one of the finest restaurants in Bali if not the whole of South East Asia. Thank you Patrick and all of the staff for making this a very special place. I can't wait to return.

The staff were all kind, and the facilities and meals were excellent. It's a wonderful hotel, perfect for spending the day by the poolside with drinks or heading out sightseeing. Personally, I really enjoyed the end-of-month Friday BBQ, so I hope it can be held more often. I'll be back.
