Stayed there for a work trip and it was absolutely wondering! The room was gorgeous and the staff was so wonderful to everyone! I would for sure stay here again! Only odd thing was there was a coffee pot but not a bag of coffee in the room but they do have complementary coffee every morning in the lounge.

Visited in February for four nights. Expectations are usually high when staying in such high-end hotel. I can’t say anything “bad” about it, in comparison with other hotel lines, but Ritz prides themselves on superior customer service, and here it just was FLAT. We were never escorted to our room, and to top it off the concierge instructed us to go to a wrong floor where we waited for about 20min to resolve the non-functioning key card. The staff was convinced that it MUST have been human error on our part, before realizing she told us the wrong floor. The room we got was parking lot view, even with months of advance notice for requests for a nicer placement due to a special event. We eventually were switched to a nicer 3 bedroom suite, facing the mountain. The service in the lounge was cheerful, but ridiculously expensive for the limited menu which was offered. We did get a tasting round of local whiskey, which was a nice touch. Overall happy with the stay, but I would recommend the management tightens few things up. No comparison to the San Francisco location. That place was amazing.

Situated right near the mountain the set up makes skiing easy. Get help putting your boats on and take a quick shuttle ride to the slopes where the ski valet will give your skis, easy as that. All details are considered, shuttles to the supermarket and restaurants, well appointed rooms with a great kitchen, fireplace and large dining table. The layout of our 3 bedroom was a bit strange with lots of long corridors but that did give you privacy. Had some trouble with the sink clogging that they were not able to rectify and the Wi-Fi was very patchy and that was troublesome if you have to work but otherwise its all you would expect from a Ritz Carlton.

We stayed here when we visited Vail for a ski vacation as a family. The entire staff was wonderful from our arrival to departure. Prior to arrival we were contacted by our personal concierge who assisted us with airport transportation, ski rentals and dining reservations. The rooms were wonderful with excellent amenities. The way they did the skis and boots with a booting room was excellent. They had a ski shuttle as well as a shuttle to all the other Vail village areas - we did not need to rent a car! We would love to be able to return for another visit!

The Ritz Carlton Club and Residences in Vail was outstanding! We had the pleasure of spending 6 nights in a beautiful 2 bedroom condo. The decor, amenities and service were all excellent. The staff was outstanding and so friendly. Everyone spoke to you and usually addressed you by your name. They went out of their way to be helpful. I especially would like to recognize the staff in the boot room where our ski boots were stored. They knew us by name and would have our boots ready each morning. They helped you to put on your boots and to help remove them at the end of the day. After a long day of skiing, we were met at the door with hot towels. What a refreshing treat! The staff at the Lionshead gondola were also friendly and helpful with our skis and poles that they stored for us each day. The housekeeping staff, the shuttle drivers, the front desk, the lounge staff and the concierge were all very well trained and would go out of their way to make our stay the very best it could be. Appliances in the condo were top notch and there was even a wine cooler in the kitchen. We had a view of the mountains and the Lionshead gondola. We could not have picked a better place to spend for a wonderful ski vacation.
