We would recommend staying here. We felt that the staff couldn’t do more for us they were lovely anything we needed they helped us with. The food was lovely we got bar food and really enjoyed it. Breakfast was lovely on both days lots of choices. We stayed in Ormonde Suite. At something in the future we would love to revisit.

On March 19 2024, three of us decided, on a whim, to go to the Castle for lunch. The dining room was not available so we settled on bar lunch. It was probably one of the worst bar lunches I ever had. It was a very limited menu and it was not good to say the least. Something as basic as salad dressing was not available. ( salad on the side with absolutely NO dressing). Hard to believe. We ordered Chilli prawns that didn’t even pass by a chilli, a very basic, dehydrated burger and a rather grandiose sounding sandwich that materialised as a very, very basic toasted sandwich. All were accompanied by the worst fries I was ever served…. blackening and soggy. We were assured a chef actually prepared it!! We did complain to the very pleasant barman who brought our complaint to the kitchen. I actually felt embarrassed on the day that there were mainly American visitors there who, I’m sure, would have expected a whole lot better. When I got home, I sent my ‘complaint’ by email to the Castle. No reply! I emailed again to say I would be writing a public review… No reply! Communications seem to be an issue. I will give it a score of 1, only because of the very pleasant barman Dylan and a lovely girl named Lauren (I think I’ve got the name correct). Elizabeth Walsh. ( no relation to the proprietor!).

Travelled here with a group of friends for a weekend away and we were all blown away by the place! The kindest and most helpful staff who made our stay completely hassle free. The location is absolutely stunning and facilities are amazing, we can’t wait to go back here! Thank you for the best time.

The Presidential Suite is superb. The cherry on the cake of our trip to Ireland indeed. The dinner was perfect and the breakfast was one of the best we’ve had. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Highly recommended-! Erin Williams, Salt Spring Island, BC Canadá.

A real, beautiful Castle Hotel, very kind, polite, cultured, helpful staff. The front desk did a perfect job. I received the key to the Presidential Suite ahead of time. Huge, beautiful Suite. The Traditional Afternoon Tea and dinner were delicious and perfect, just like the generous breakfast! In the bar you can choose from many jo whiskeys. I got what I expected, an unforgettable memory! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Igazi, szép Kastélyszálló, nagyon kedves, udvarias, kulturált, segítőkész személyzet. A recepció tökéletes munkát végzett. Idő előtt megkaptam a Presidential Suite kulcsát. Hatalmas, szép Lakosztály. A Hagyományos Délutáni Tea és a vacsora ízletes, tökéletes volt, akarcsak a bőséges reggeli! A bárban sok jo whiskey közül választhatunk. Azt kaptam amire számítottam, egy felejthetetlen emléket!
