We’ve just returned from a 3 night break with our 3 children aged 7, 4 and 1 year, and were slightly concerned that there wouldn’t be enough for the children to do especially during February when it’s not the warmest month. We were wrong, the setting is beautiful, when my eldest daughter walked through the doors which lead to the sand dunes she gasped “Wow Mummy! It’s like a magical secret garden.” Having been blessed with good weather, comparatively like British spring time, we spent hours playing in the sand, exploring the gardens and woodlands, and the children participated in activities including muffin baking and arts and crafts. The food was wonderful and they catered to us being vegan, which meant preparing meals off the menu to add variety. Breakfast was served in the kitchen, simple, healthy and again wonderful. My husband and I both had massage treatments, probably one of the best we’ve had. From the decor to the service, I can not fault this hotel, it’s small enough for the staff to pay attention to detail and remember you by name. We really felt at home here and will be back soon. Thank you so much to all the staff who gave us a really memorable stay. The Richmond’s Oh... one last thing, thank you for your patience while the girls kept playing on the indoor swings, they want one at home now :)

The restaurant and the decoration are absolutly beautifull but there were some details that ruined our stay: - The bedroom has a jacuzzi with a beautifull fireplace. The extraction doesnt work, therefore our room was full of smoke through out all the night. All our stuff were smelling like fireplace and was hard to breath through the night. - The bed has no base on the bed frame, having no stability and confort for the night. - We were given the room „Without booked hours“ and immediatly we were requested to book the restaurant, risking not having dinner if not booked. We were expecting to go with the flow and by the time we did arrive tot he restaurant, accordingly to the booked hour, it was only half full. Overall what was expected to be a relaxing night became a disappointment, we can see the potential but the flows on the details are too big. I do recommed the staff to try the rooms so they know how it will be for the guests.

We just got back from a lovely weekend at Areias do Seixo. Very nice place to spend an amazing weekend with your second half! Starting with the lovely room with fireplace and a big jacuzzi tub! What an amazing views from the room! Next! The cuisine! We had dinner twice! First time we went for a la carte. Second time the tasting menu with wines very well selected by Rui Madeira the sommelier. The cuisine is excellently well conducted . The staff also very attentive! Extraordinary experience! A place to go back again!!!!

Wonderful “out of this world” place. Silent, serene, restful, magical, spiritual. What else? And their impecable staff are lovely and kind people! Architecture is magnificent. If you open your window you can listen to the majestic Ocean. Just try!

What a beautiful place this is. There is magical sprinkled all around - so many stunning details that make it unique and special. The decor, the food, the furnishings, the grounds, the garden, the guitar playing by the fire at night. What a gorgeous and heavenly place. Maria and the other front desk staff are excellent. They went above and beyond every step of the way. Not really recommended for kids though!
