Banyan Tree Cabo Marques

With my wife, we stayed from 13 to 18 October in the property, taking advantage of as many services as possible, since my wife could hardly walk due to a knee issue. We were welcomed at the airport by Oliver, who took not only good care of ourselves but also put a huge smile on our face. Oliver's good mood and enthusiasm about what he does is definitely communicative. Thanks Oliver, you made our day at several occasions - transfer from and to the airport, as well as during the Acapulco excursion. We love the Banyan Tree product for its accommodation and the private pool that goes with it. This one was overlooking a bay and could not get our eyes away from the birds, the water and the lights on the other side of the bay at night. Great room, great deck, great pool and a very good level of privacy. We took the buggy for each internal trip we had to make and we would like to thank all buggy drivers that demonstrated a great level of hospitality, proactiveness and were smiling all the time. We felt welcomed and well taken care of. Buggys would come very quickly during the week days. It took them a bit longer as from friday evening (occupancy goes up during the week-ends). Enjoying breakfast and being welcomed by the team there was always a pleasure. Food is great and we would like to commend Jennifer particulary, even though all staff members were friendly, taking car of each of our desires. We wish Jennifer a great career, she is made for the hospitality industry. Luz from the spa also allowed us to feel particularly at ease, welcomed at the spa reception. She took the time to have a chat, demonstrating a great sense of humour. We found the Director General to be very friendly and attentive to his staff and the guests. He took time to have a drink with us and we thorougly enjoyed the discussion and his concern about the future of the property and his staff. All in all a fantastic stay in Cabo Marqués. Thank you team! You transformed our great stay into a fantastic stay. Well done!

I’ve been to 70 countries and a ton of beautiful hotels but this place is the most spectacular. Set on a cliff top overlooking the pacific. Every villa is the height of luxury but set in the forest so it feels like you’re in it. Service impeccable although don’t expect fluent English from all.

Impeccable food and Israel the waiter was very attentive ,the location and view are amazing and defenitly worth going.

Our experience was very pleasant. The food is unique and delicious. The place has an amazing view to the sea. Huge thanks to our waiter Adan and the chef.

This luxury resort continues to be one of Mexico’s very best hotels that, surprisingly, gets very little attention. The rooms are elegant, soothing and perfectly appointed. Each villa is free standing (no shared walls) and has its own pool. The views are amazing. The grounds are meticulously maintained. The service is quick, discreet and attentive. Especially Jennifer and her crew at Cello. We have been many times and have already booked a return.
