Overlooking Acapulco's Puerto Marqués Bay, Camino Real Acapulco Diamante is in perfect harmony with its natural surroundings. Seemingly sculpted into the mountainside it inhabits, the resort is a cascade of buildings tucked into vast rocks. Classic styling and Mexican architectural details evoke the great European resort hotels with a touch of the golden Riviera of the Mexican Pacific. Here, you'll enjoy exceptional comforts in an elegant guestroom that offers scenic glimpses of the turquoise bay and the emerald tropics that surround it.

The location is amazing and the facilities are great (swimming pools). Poor maintenance in rooms and general facilities, swimming pools were not clean regulatly and even chemicals were left without dilution. Some rooms have been refurbished. However, this information is not shared. Only one room for handicap is available, and they forced you to upgrade if you need the room.. The service is mediocre and inconsistent in housekeeping, beach and swimming pools, and restaurants. It is a shame, as the place could be amazing with the proper management.

First of all let me tell you I really liked this hotel because of its privacy and seclusion. I'm dissatisfied the way I was treated during my last check in process, We arrived at 7:00 am because our flight was changed earlier than scheduled, the receptionist said we needed to pay $1800.00 pesos for early check in or wait till 3:00 pm. The hotel was almost empty there were rooms available we needed to go to sleep so I said fine I’ll pay just give me a nice room. guess what? I got the worst room possible , way too far from the pools or the beach, I refused the room and asked for a better room, he said you need to upgrade and it would be $1000.00 pesos a night. This is was fifth time I stayed at this hotel I always got nice rooms, I never had any issues with early check in, there was a reason I kept coming back. I was very upset and asked for a refund but since I booked thru a agency they said no refunds I asked to talk to the manager she was not on the premises, we were so tired so I ended up paying the upgrade. later on the day I asked again to speak to the manager she called me I explained what happened but she didn’t offer any help. May be there was a change of ownership but last my stay was not as pleasant as my last previous 4. I will probably look somewhere else on my next stay in Acapulco. Manuel Lopez

Small sandy beach, small sea swimming area, from early morning the swimming area in the sea is surrounded by boats and jet skis, because of this the water and air are dirty because of the fuel and its smell. The food seemed to be varied, but we didn’t like it and weren’t impressed. The hotel is still undergoing repairs after the hurricane, the floors in the hallway are covered in lime, some of the stairs are blocked.
