Since the Hyatt left, the hotel has had little done to upgrade or even maintain the facility but some tweaks here and there would make an enormous difference. Maybe this year's budget could include some maintenance!

Great hotel close to everything. Great breakfast, excellent service, value for money. Rooms are nice but a little dated, wear and tear starting to show. Walking distance to find a place to eat, we choose to dine at the Japenese restaurant in the hotel, which was really good.

Again we stayed at the InterContinental Adelaide, service was fantastic and the stay a very pleasant experience. Staff were so attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was included in the tariff and was a wonderful assortment of delicious treats. Thank you InterContinental.

We stayed in the Charles Sturt suite which was very accommodating. All of the staff from the concierge to front desk, from F&B to the Club Intercontinental ladies, were simply wonderful. My best stay at this property and all the team are to be congratulated.

From check in to check out, the service is friendly and polite. The buffet breakfast service is seamless, attentive and enjoyable experience even when it was busy over the weekend. There is cook-to-order a-la-carte in addition to the buffet which offers eggs benedict, belgian waffles and side orders of mushrooms and hash browns for example. The chutney is a must try. The juicing station is fresh and there is also a good variety of 4 salads along with cold cuts. Portion sizes are perfect to sample many pastries in the bakery section, and there is also cheeses and dried fruit on selection. Definitely value for money.
