The Oberoi Amarvilas, Agra

Wonderful stay, excellent service and amazing view on the Taj Mahal from our room balcony. Definitelly one of the best hotel in India.

Sandeep took me and my girlfriend to the Taj Mahal from the oberoi hotel. His hospitality and kindness was unmatched. He explained to us the history of the monument and made our visit smooth and care free. He’s a great photographer too and took some beautiful pictures of us.

This is one of oberoi's best properties. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you very much for the room upgrade, which gave us the perfect view of the Taj Mahal from the upper floor. The service, food, and hotel were all outstanding.. We would stay here again. If you plan to visit the Taj Mahal there is no better location.

Our stay at the Oberoi Amarvilas in Agra was honestly one of the warmest and most memorable hotel experiences we’ve ever had. We always say that OBEROI Hotels are our absolute favorite in the whole world, and this trip reminded us again why we feel that way. Their hospitality is something you really feel — it’s not forced, it’s not formal — it’s genuine kindness from everyone you meet. I truly want to mention General Manager Rohit Kukreja because he made such a big difference in our stay. Because of my health, he very kindly upgraded us from the Premier Balcony Room to the Thomas Daniel Suite, which was incredibly thoughtful. He checked in with us every single day just to make sure I was okay and that we were comfortable. He is honestly the best GM we’ve ever met, anywhere. The front office team, especially Office Manager Satvik Kapoor, was so helpful with our daily plans. They made everything feel easy and smooth, and they always remembered our little preferences. It felt like they really cared about how our day was going. The food at the hotel was amazing. Chefs Vibhor and Jaskrit made some of the best meals we’ve ever had, including the best paneer we have EVER eaten. Their desserts were also truly wonderful — delicious and beautifully made. Housekeeping was also fantastic. Mr. Baru Chauhan and his team kept the suite perfect, and they were always so polite and warm whenever we saw them in the hallway. We also want to thank Kaushik, Satvik, Arpan, and a few others whose names we wish we had written down, because they all made our stay so special. We loved every moment at Oberoi Amarvilas. It is a beautiful, peaceful, and caring place, and it’s the only hotel we will ever stay at in Agra.
