Our three-night stay at The Oberoi Amarvilas, Agra was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we arrived until the day we left, every detail was taken care of with genuine warmth, professionalism, and impeccable attention to detail. As we were celebrating our wedding anniversary, the team went above and beyond to make it truly unforgettable. They remembered the occasion, surprised us with beautiful gifts and thoughtful touches, and made us feel incredibly special throughout our stay. Every member of staff treated us with such kindness and care that we genuinely felt like royalty. No request was ever too big or too small. One of the absolute highlights of our visit was, of course, the Taj Mahal. The hotel arranged a private guided tour with Mr. Kishore, and we simply couldn’t have asked for a better guide. His knowledge, passion, professionalism, and ability to bring the history of the Taj Mahal to life were exceptional. He shared fascinating insights that transformed what could have been just a visit into a truly unforgettable experience. Mr. Kishore also turned out to be an outstanding photographer! He knew all the best locations and angles and helped us capture some incredible photographs that we’ll treasure for the rest of our lives. Even though the heavens opened and we got absolutely soaked by the rain, his enthusiasm never faded, and he ensured we still had an amazing time. Those memories, and the beautiful photos, will stay with us forever. Afterwards, we explored the back streets of Agra, did a little shopping, and discovered some fantastic handmade shoes. It was an eye-opening experience that gave us a wonderful glimpse into the local culture. If you’re visiting Agra, do yourself a favour and stay at The Oberoi Amarvilas. Yes, it’s one of the more luxurious hotels in the city, but it’s worth every single penny. The exceptional service, unforgettable experiences, breathtaking views of the Taj Mahal, and the genuine care shown by every member of staff make it worth every penny. A heartfelt thank you to the entire Oberoi team, and especially to Mr. Kishore, for making our wedding anniversary so incredibly special. We will treasure these memories for a lifetime and cannot wait to return.

There's a long list of things which made our stay special. Mesmerizing view of Taj Mahal, upgrade to a balcony room, electric cart to Taj Mahal gate, thoughtfully provided water bottles and shoe covers all helped make the stay memorable. Kids enjoyed the pottery session and magic show. The pool is excellent, and breakfast, after Taj Mahal visit had a lot of variety.

Our stay at The Oberoi Amarvilas was exceptional from start to finish. While the hotel's iconic views of the Taj Mahal are breathtaking, what truly sets it apart is the consistency of its service and the attention to detail in every aspect of the guest experience. A special thank you to General Manager Rohit Kukreja and Executive Housekeeper Baru Chauhan for their gracious hospitality and personal attention throughout our stay. Their leadership is clearly reflected in the warmth, professionalism, and genuine care demonstrated by every member of the team. The rooms were immaculate, housekeeping was impeccable, and every interaction felt thoughtful rather than scripted. It is rare to find a hotel where excellence extends beyond the guest-facing spaces. The care taken in maintaining the property, the precision of operations, and the pride of the team are evident throughout. Dining was another highlight. Both Bellevue and Esphahan delivered outstanding meals with excellent service, beautifully presented dishes, and consistently high quality. Every meal felt like an experience rather than just another restaurant visit. Luxury hotels are often judged by their architecture and amenities, but the true differentiator is how they make guests feel. Oberoi Amarvilas excels in creating an atmosphere that is elegant, effortless, and genuinely welcoming. A truly memorable stay, and one that reinforces why The Oberoi continues to be a benchmark for luxury hospitality.

Our stay at the Oberoi was simply outstanding. Absolutely everything about the hotel, the staff, the grounds, the thoughtful touches and the stunningly beautiful swimming pool was remarkable. We had a room with a balcony looking at the Taj Mahal. The view was breathtaking. Every single member of the staff team were genuinely wonderful and it truly was a remarkable and thoroughly enjoyable experience. It has rather spoilt us for future trips as we are looking to base our travels on where there is an Oberoi hotel.
