The Oberoi Amarvilas, Agra

Our stay at the Oberoi Omar Villa Agra was simply extraordinary. The Hotel itself is breathtaking with impeccable service, beautiful gardens, outstanding dining, and the unique privilege of enjoying stunning views of the Taj Mahal from the property. It truly feels like one of the finest hotels in the world. What made our stay even more memorable was the private tour arranged through the hotel with Historian and Storyteller Sandeep: my wife and I had the privilege of exploring both the Taj Mahal and Agra Forte with him, and it was one of the highlights of our trip to India. Sandeep is far more than a guide. He is a gifted storyteller who brings history, architecture, culture, and human emotions together into a truly immersive experience. His English was flawless and easy to understand, and his manner was consistently, elegant, thoughtful, and engaging as we walked through the Taj Mahal he helped us appreciate, not only it's extraordinary beauty, but also the love story symbolism craftsmanship and historical context behind every detail later at Agra Fort. He continued to enrich our visit with fascinating insights and stories that transported us back through the centuries, what impressed us most was his ability to make a slow down and truly experience each moment rather than simply showing us monuments. He helped us feel connected to the people, events and emotions that shaped them thanks to Sandeep a visit to two iconic landmarks became a deeply memorable journey through history. We cannot recommend him highly enough and sincerely hope he receives the recognition he deserves. If you were staying at the Oberoi in Agra ask for Sandeep: you will be an exceptional hands!

Excellent experience of a top flight hotel. Kishore, who led our visit to the Taj Mahal, was an extremely courteous and knowledgeable guide. My room had a superb view of the Taj Mahal.

Our stay was amazing, and the staff is incredibly sweet. They truly understand hospitality to the core. The food was delicious too. Special kudos to Gaurav, who served us at Esphahan, he was very patient, explained everything beautifully, and was available whenever we needed anything. We also really enjoyed the Historian & Storyteller experience organized by The Oberoi with Mr. Sandeep. He was so much fun, he walked us through Agra Fort and shared fascinating stories, including the origins of Bollywood. I loved how he explained everything and showed the ways history still shapes our day-to-day lives.

This hotel has everything inside to Have a completely experience with the taj mahal view and visit. Such a great experience to be hosted here is something you Wont forget. Amazing, beautilful, excellent hospitality, all you can need.
