The Oberoi Amarvilas, Agra

If you ever have the opportunity, or are planning to stay on the area this hotel is a CANT MISS! My kids were treated like family and were made to feel so special. We all enjoyed the beautiful pool and spa. My husband and I enjoyed the food, staff, and the grounds are just stunning. Waking up and seeing the Taj thru your balcony window was a dream come true. Highly, highly recommend!

Oh wow- what a hotel!!! The building and facilities are 7 star... the pool is a tranquil bright blue, the sunbeds so comfortable- and you can order endless gin and tonic from the lounger. They even brought us ice cold face towels and complimentary homemade pineapple sorbet as we lay in the 2pm sun! The dancers preformed at 6pm and we watched peacocks strutting on the lawns. The rooms are beautiful- large and bright with a dressing room and fabulous spacious en-suite . The view of the Taj Mahal on our balcony was something out of a dream! The bed is turned down each night, with chocolates and fresh fruit left to enjoy. We even had "goodnight" written in rose petals on our floor 💖 We had two super meals... one in their traditional restaurant... one in their Indian restaurant - both were absolutely delicious- and we tried many different plates. Our wonderful, most attentive chef, Sahas Kelkau, was 2nd to none. We followed his recommendations on menu choices (butter chicken!! ) and were not disappointed. He also brought over a birthday cake as we celebrated a 50th birthday. Breakfasts were beautifully served- a buffet of the usual fruits, pastries, Indian food, taken to a new level with fresh baked yogurts and detox smoothies. We ordered poached eggs and smoked salmon/ you could have anything you desired!! Alas on the 3rd day, we had to leave this paradise- my husband has stayed in hotels all over the world and was most pleased to say that this is THE BEST hotel he has ever stayed in. A beautiful building- but it's the staff who elevate it to superstardom! They were ALL amazing- courteous, professional, kind and friendly- from the doormen carrying bags, to the waitresses and waiters, the pool staff, the front desk, the guest relations manager and the chef.... we were blown away! We returned home, sadly leaving, with a beautiful marble elephant gift- and this hotel will live in our memories for a lifetime- thank you to all at the Oberoi Amarvilas, Agra ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Fantastic hotel, unparalleled views of the Taj Mahal, incredible service and breathtaking pool and common areas. Only complaint is that for the price you pay rooms look a bit dated.

Most beautiful property! The staff and service were all amazing. We enjoyed every minute of our stay and cannot wait to return in the future.
