The Oberoi Amarvilas, Agra

We chose The Oberoi Amarvilas to celebrate my wife’s 50th birthday, and it turned out to be one of the most memorable stays we have had. From the moment we arrived, the experience felt thoughtful and beautifully curated. The hotel itself is stunning, but what truly stands out is the attention to detail and the warmth of the team. Every small arrangement was handled with care, making the occasion feel very personal and special. Our room offered the magnificent view that Amarvilas is known for ..the Taj Mahal almost feels within touching distance. One evening we witnessed a superb sunset where the Taj and the golden sky framed together in a single view. It was one of those rare travel moments that stays with you. The food and drinks throughout our stay were excellent, and the service was consistently gracious without ever feeling overbearing. The team clearly takes pride in creating memorable experiences for guests. After three wonderful days, leaving the property actually felt a little emotional — which perhaps says everything about the kind of stay we had. If you are planning a special occasion or simply want to experience the Taj Mahal in the most beautiful way possible, Amarvilas is truly exceptional.

Marvellous hotel with a wonderful and unique view on the Taj Mahal. Such a dream place ! Mythic. Spécial thanks to Chef Vibhor who paid such a nice attention to my husband’s diet constraints and helped me select Indian delicious dishes for myself. Special thanks also to Chef Abha, so nice, and to Saransh and Smriti who made our meals even more pleasant ! There was also a very nice lady dressed in pale pink but I have not had the opportunity to note down her name

"I have never been in such an extraordinary hotel. Hospitality, super young competent and amicable staff, always ready to please the customer, a gorgeous room, clean and very well equipped (and of course THE view on the Taj Mahal!), and Indian gastronomy at its best in the Indian restaurant. I cannot recommend enough this wonderful place and experience. It’s not given but I have paid that much elsewhere to not get half of the service provided there. It’s comforting to see so many young women in charge. Motivated and proud of their beautiful country. Thanks a lot!!"

The Oberoi Agra is truly a 5-star hotel from start to finish. Everything about the place is top-notch. The views of the Taj Mahal from the hotel are jaw-dropping.
