Beautiful location and very stylishly decorated but there could be a few improvements. Wi-Fi very slow and breakfast rather uninspiring. Pool could do with a good clean - algae. First hotel we’ve stayed at where room wasn’t made up on second day.

I choose this property because of its proximity to Agrigento. The property is beautiful and the ambience very tranquil. Our bedroom, a suite, was large and very attractive. We stayed one night at Masseria Agnello and despite the facility being absolutely beautiful, sadly the very poor service left our overall image of the place as poor. There seemed to be only two staff running the facility (only one of them seemed to have any experience). They both seemed preoccupied on a private dinner for 10 that they were catering for on the evening of our arrival and did little to offer us much hospitality. We had hoped to dine in for dinner but were told due to the private function they could not assist us, so had to catch a taxi to the nearby town to eat. The pool area was not cleared/reset of dirty dishes/trays after patrons had finished and as a result was not inviting. No help was offered with porting our suitcases from/to the car park to the reception (60m away) or to the room (up a flight of stairs). It was a disappointing stay. The place has so much potential, all it needs is more staff and staff that have an idea of customer service and it could turn around their ratings significantly.

This was the last place of a six place stay and I was sadly the most expensive and most disappointing. The positives are it's beautiful position and the decor of the main rooms. The staff (the few they had) were friendly and helpful. But it missed the mark for us - the rooms we had smelled of drains when we arrived, pool umbrellas and sunchairs were broken. We arrived for breakfast at 9 on our first day and there were no clean tables to sit at and we had to ask for the food to be replenished and compared to the other hotels we stayed at it was average. The jazucci was empty (but the room spec said it had one), the mini bars were removed in one room and empty in the other. We had dinner one night which I thought was delicious but by far the most expensive meal we had in italy. I hate leaving poor reviews, especially after covid - but it wasn't good enough and instead of leaving italy on a high we left a bit disappointed. :( There is a mismatch here with price and expectation.

Scam! Since one year we are trying to get our money back. We got charged twice! Alex (the host) told us that we would get it back but have not received any payment. No answers to phone calls or mails since 3 months... Don't book at this hotel! Very unfriendly and not service oriented at all!
