Excellent resort with great massage therapists, Irene and deimi.
Our stay at Xandari, since 2003, has always been excellent. During our current stay, we boomed deep tissue massages with Miss Irene and Miss Deimi. They turned out to be exceptionally talented therapists. They knew the true technique of their work, and they also worked with great enthusiasm and a true desire to heal. We felt delighted and totally rejuvenated with massage from both Irene and deimi. We recommend them strongly and we will request for their service in our future visits to this resort, thank you Irene, thank you deimi.

Amazing service
The spa is one of a kind experience! Lisbeth and Deimy were very attentive to all our needs. The massage was great and the jacuzzi´s view is amazing. A perfect get away experience close to the city.

Good break from daily schedule
It is easily accessible and a good getaway from daily busy life. Can be reached in any type of vehicle. Good cozy atmosphere with greenery all over. Rooms are spacious and comfortable with all the basic necessities and an amazing view of the valley. It’s a bit overpriced for me. Have been to better places more economical than this one. The place is very clean and tidy. Peaceful with almost no noise. The only noise you hear is birds and occasional airplanes passing overhead due to the airport nearby. Food is average and overpriced. The service was very slow. Took almost an hour to get the order Spa is good with an amazing view of the valley central. Yoselin was very professional and was very careful with all the muscles. The massage was crafted as per needs. Overall a good experience with a good view.

Fantastic relaxing massage
Started with a herbal jacuzzi overlooking the Central Valley siping a cold glass of wine and a plate of divine fruit. The was given a full body aromatherapy massage by Josephine - fantastic . I did this with my daughter and we both loved the experience and my daughter’s masseur was called Elizabeth. Perfect !

“Travel Dates: March 24-28, 2013 Room: Villa 3 We are from the States. We chose Xandari based upon ratings from the trip advisor website, its proximity to the San Jose airport and its centrally located position (w/r/t to the country as a whole). We chose to rent a vehicle (easy to drive in Costa Rica as long as u have a 4x4 vehicle and a GPS)- would recommend limited night time driving. Xandari was an oasis set on the hillside with beautiful views of San Jose. The first night we arrived, we were greeted by the bellman and hotel desk staff. We were quickly whisked away to our room. We had an Ultra villa, which was more than enough room for me and my wife. The room had a small collection of ants near the screen door (my wife is terrified of bugs so this was more of an issue for her). The staff was extremely apologetic and quickly made arrangements to transfer us to another room. They did so within 15 minutes and we failed to have another complaint. Service at the restaurant was great, especially given the laissez-faire attitudes of most Costa-Ricans. The grounds were well maintained. The staff was extremely attentive and responsive to any request. The rooms were cleaned well by the maids. The bed, at least in my unit, was comfortable. Things to note: No air-condition, but they do have fans upon request (it gets quite cool at night, so this wasn't a significant issue for us). No TVs in the room, but they do have one in the main house (more of an issue if u like to keep up on your sports,etc while on vacation). Mild-moderate amount of insects outside of your rooms, but keep in mind the resort is set in a hill side jungle, replete with water falls, etc so this should be expected”
