Teetering high above the Amalfi Coast, this former 13th-century monastery is now a glorious hotel situated along the Italian seaboard. Impeccably restored to its original splendor, yet not without expected conveniences, the Grand Hotel features just 53 tasteful rooms and suites with a white motif and latte accents. French doors push open revealing Juliet-style balconies encased with ornate iron balustrades and million-dollar seascape views. The hotel's crisp alabaster color scheme is infused with brilliant hues courtesy of blooming bougainvillea, leafy emerald plants and azure reflections from the sea.

A breathtaking place
What a fantastic place. This hotel looks and feels amazing when you step inside. The conversation to a hotel celebrates the beauty of the area and respects its origins. The stunning setting is truly breathtaking and the fascinating historical quirks are brilliant. The original Cloisters and Chapel on site. The garden is brilliant and the views and access to Amalfi down a stepped path feels time honoured. We stayed in a room with a balcony which was lovely but the public hotel spaces and gardens are really quite special. The hotel cost is on the high side and we had high expectations. Overall the only slight downside was the food which was very expensive and didn't come up to the price mark in our view. The rooms was certainly clean and bright with minimal noise transfer. One tip. it might be worth checking if there is a wedding on at the time of your visit as it did impact on us as the weather caused the wedding to be transferred indoors and hence the main restaurant was shut and sitting in the bar area essentially felt like being wedding guests. Overall, however this is an amazing place and would definitely recommend when visiting Amalfi.

Great experience in Amalfi Coast
The hotel is beautiful. Nestled in the cliffs of the Amalfi Coast you will find no other place like this, Trendy yet historical and full of character.

Mixed experiences
Good location with great views. They offer a what’s app contact for assistance but do not respond to it the bathroom are very tightly designed so if you are oversized or disabled it will be a challenge. Some Electric outlets are broken and do not work

Truly wonderful stay
Our stay was truly wonderful, the hotel is absolutely stunning, possibly the most beautiful I’ve ever stayed in. The location was perfect, with exceptional views and an incredible sense of history throughout the building. Breakfast was delicious, and enjoying an evening drink while taking in the scenery was unforgettable. Overall, we had a really, really enjoyable stay and can’t wait to return.

Just loved the location was close to downtown. Overall we loved the hotel and staff very clean excellent food and assistance.
