Outstanding
We went to fly fish. Our guide was knowledgeable and offered lots of advice and took us to all the right spots to make sure we were successful. El Pescador lodge was so accommodating. Always making us feel at home. The food was outstanding. The staff pampered us and by the end of our stay we had made new friends. Highly recommend. We will be back.

Fabulous Resort
El Pescador is located on a lush property with direct water/access that is perfect for fly fishing trips and excursions like snorkeling. The resort is spotless, quiet and caters to the discerning traveler. The rooms are comfortable, large and well appointed. EL Pescador provides world class accommodations and hospitality that rivals 5 start resorts. The rates are very reasonable for the level of service and delicious meals provided.

Flyfishing experience of a lifetime
If you love fishing and think you might only have one opportunity for a dream trip trip, EL Pescador is probably the best chance to fulfill it. Assuming that dream is flyfishing for Tarpon, Permit and Bone fish is crystal clear aquamarine ocean with all the tropical surroundings you see on a post card. This lodge sets the bar and caters to its guests experience in a world class way well deserving of its reputation.

Great fly fishing getaway.
Loved the large, staff and fishing. It was great to get lost for a week in the beauty and fishing. I see why there were so many repeat visitors there.

El Pescador has carved out a real niche for itself. Its combination of comfortable and gracious living in a totally relaxed, outdoor setting is unique and has a charm all its own. When asked by Steve for our suggestions about how to make it better, we were hard pressed to come up with anything substantive.
I don't know whether you embrace all of your guests as you did our little family, but we felt as though we were being welcomed into a wonderfully warm, interesting, and entertaining family that we were only too happy to be adopted by.
