Wonderful
Great hotel great staff! Lovely experience

Great hotel; greater staff
The hotel was excellent. It was formerly a boys school which has been recently converted and updated. It is styled in a typical minimalist Scandinavian style and is very crisp and clean in appearance. Where it really gets good is the staff. They were gracious and helpful during both of our stays (one night prior to our cruise and two nights following). During our first stay, a film crew was making a movie. The staff was careful that this didn’t disrupt our stay. The second stay was more conventional. Our absolute favorite staff was Mattieu, who was actually a trainee. He helped us with all our needs, called cabs for us (who actually came inside the hotel to tell us they had arrived), and so much more. Drinks and meals were excellent (kudos to kitchen and bar staff). If we have the opportunity to return to Amsterdam, we will definitely stay at the College Hotel. It was well worth the cost.

What a great venue!
Wonderful venue. Excellent staff that genuinely interact with their guests. Located in a perfect area just south of the Rijks and easily within walking distance. MJ the F&B manager was so attentive and enthusiastic about the new restaurant "The Gym" featuring their Michelin two star chef. Arif and front desk staff were extremely accommodating. They all knew you by name!

Great hotel and excellent service
I had an excellent 3-day stay at the College Hotel in Amsterdam. The staff is very friendly, attentive and thoughtful. Arif was a pleasure to interact with. The rooms are quiet and well appointed with strikingly high ceilings that create a sense luxury and beauty. I highly recommend this hotel.

Fantastic vacation hotel
We stayed at The College before and after our cruise from Amsterdam. The location was calm, comfortable, and allowed us to easily visit the museums. Everything was in walking distance or accessible by tram or metro. Dining was a breeze. One of the highlights was the hotel itself. We were well cared by the entire staff from checking in by Matthieu and Younlee to room services. The room we had was charming and well thought out with exquisite details like sensors to light up under the vanity and stairs. We feel the money paid was well worth the value. It made our time In Amsterdam special.
