Our King Deluxe room, on the 9th floor, was simply but comfortably furnished and had great views of the canal and roof tops out to the city. The bathroom had a shower over the bath🫤. As a Hilton Honors diamond member, I was given an early check in, two little waffles, Executive Lounge access and full buffet breakfast. The lounge had yummy all day snacks. In the evening there were two hot canapes plus bread, cheese and salad, as well as prosecco, red and white wine, beer and spirits. Breakfast, in the restaurant, was very good with the usual bainmaries, waffles, a good selection of fruit and bakery items and prosecco! Staff were friendly and helpful. Pre stay emails were answered promptly and an email containing valuable information was also sent shortly before our stay.

So many great things to say about this hotel. It is just outside of the city center on the canal and is an excellent value for the room and amenities. The staff was extremely welcoming. We dined in the downstairs dining room by the canal, which was gorgeous and had a wood fireplace and a perfect vibe for the end of the evening. We were graciously upgraded to a canal view room for a special occasion and it was perfection. The view was extraordinary. The family room and connecting rooms are so challenging in Europe but we easily had a beautiful connecting room with twin beds that worked perfectly. We highly recommend!

Hotel is a nice facility. Housekeeping services the rooms daily and do a great job. Front desk was professional but would be nice to see a smile. The restaurant Roberto’s had good food but slow service. After one dinner there was so dissatisfied with the service I wouldn’t return for dinner and made sure we went out for dinner where we always found the service to be excellent. Even breakfast service was slow for serving of coffee and drinks. The rest of the meal was buffet style. After checking out had to go to the front desk to inquire about a 140 euro charge to a hotel bar that we were never in. The restaurant apparently just charges the room number the guest put on the charge and doesn’t consult the name cause when they reviewed it they saw I didn’t charge it. I would return to the hotel but with low expectations that I don’t usual equate to a Hilton Hotel.

Everything about thus screams average. Nothing really remarkable. Nice shops that close early. Nice fitness center that opens late and closed on Sunday. Would not take much for this to be exceptional, but they stop just short of that. Rooms are good. Quiet.

Can‘t say it‘s cheap but it was good I must admit. Especially the room and mattress quality was superb. A bit a shame that one cannot open the windows. Breakfast was not impressive. Personnel: from housekeeping to reception was triple A. Location is actually pretty amazing: easy to walk downtown but not in the middle of the hustle and bustle.
