Loved the hotel and loved the breakfast EXCEPT we were put in a building that was disconnected fro the main part of the hotel. It was cold outside and you had to go outside to get to the lobby. I wish we would have known this after traveling 13 hours and were too tired to complain.

This hotel is fabulous! Great staff and great service! In particular the bar maid Rebecca! She was incredibly funny and very knowledgeable about many subjects and various conversations we engaged with her on. She made our stay feel a lot more comfortable through her warm and refreshing attitude towards us and other guests! Thank you Rebecca! We will certainly recommend to our other colleagues in future trips as a result!
We booked this hotel specifically because of it's location and it truly delivered what we were looking for. It's minutes away from the central station, from the red lights district, from Jordaan neighborhood, etc. It's conveniently located in the center of the city. Our room was located in the satellite building, which at the beginning we saw as a disadvantage, but then realized it was actually cool. The building has a private entrance, so you don't need to go thru the reception, and the place was very quiet. In the room we had all the necessary for a great stay. The space was perfect, enough closet space. I liked that there were no drawers, I always forget things in them... The bathroom was fully stocked, with enough towels and I loved that they gave us conditioner, most hotels only offer shampoo. The complimentary water and chocolate during turn down service was a nice detail too... although I'm not sure if it was to all rooms or just to the Rewards Members. Breakfast was very good too, it had all the necessary food to start your day with enough energy. I really liked their smoothies. And the staff was really attentive. We needed the help of the Concierge to confirm our Airport Transfer and they coordinated everything perfectly, we didn't have to worry about anything. In general I would really recommend this hotel. It's not excessively expensive and you'll get great value for the money.

Have just returned from a few nights at the Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky for my birthday. We got a free upgrade along with a free bottle of wine and some treats which was a lovely touch. The room was large, spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for a few nights away. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice, but at around £30 a day each, we felt ever so slightly overpriced. Our only downside with the hotel was that the heating didn't work in our room, and it took four requests for a heater or someone to come and look at it before anything got sorted, which for a 5* hotel was a little poor.
