Reviews for NH Collection Amsterdam Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky
Arrived at the hotel a few hours too early to check in. Not a problem. Upgraded to a superb apartment with canal view (at no extra cost). Without exception the staff at the hotel were friendly, courteous and professional. No complaints at all and would recommend anyone to stay there. Love Amsterdam - great buzz. One of the highlights of our stay was a boat trip with Amsterdam Boat Adventures. Such a nice way to spend 90 minutes touring this beautiful city. Look them up!

Stayed here for one night before a cruise and after a very long flight. The staff is friendly and goes out of their way. Our room was huge. Arrived the night before King’s Day. Stayed up (jet lag) and watched people coming and going from Dam Square. The bed was very comfy. I wish we stayed here longer than one night. Great hotel right in the heart of Dam Square.

Stay the other weekend w two girlfriends. First off every single one of the staff we encountered we are nice and welcoming as could be. Nothing was a bother or issue. Second, location is central and easy to get anywhere. Third, the buffet breakfast was delicious. Forth, cocktail bar served amazing drinks. Fifth, we had a triple room and it was spacious and plenty of towels etc. Book it Danno...

We were having a family vacation in Amsterdam for 10 days, and chose this hotel due to its location. The staffs are wonderful, they do the check in process asap & have great knowledge about the city. You can check or ask any kind of event or tour information you need from them, they will gladly assist you. The rooms were also clean & modern. Not very spacious but enough for our 2 big luggage. The room size is understandable since its located at city center. The bathroom was also clean & spotless. Our room had a street view, it was nice to relax & watch the bustling street through the big window. But beware on weekend, we could slightly hear drunk people laughing & talking until past midnight outside. Not too loud that it would disturb you from sleeping, though. Complimentary tea, coffee, & stilled water always replenished when housekeeping, & at turn down service they gave chocolate squares too. :) From this hotel you can easily walk around to find foods, cafe, restaurants, bars, mini market, also shopping places along the roads. Central station can be reached with a 10-15 mnts of walking. 2 tram stops were located near this hotel too. For those who are looking for night entertainment, the red light district is just a 5 mnts walk from hotel. There are also bars that open until late of night. One thing that bothers me a little, although this is a 5 stars hotel they don't provide gym or pool. In the hotel room's directory they have explained that guests are welcome to use the gym at NH collection Barbizone near Central station. But with abundance of things to do in Amsterdam, the gym or pool is not really necessary. ;)
We enjoyed our stay a lot. Location of the hotel is perfect. Service excellent and very smooth check in and out. the room we stayed was very clean and well decorated. Breakfast was nice and fulfilling. No complains at all.
