Stayed for two nights and had wonderful time couldn’t be any easier to find from central station in the middle of dam square. extremely quick and friendly check in upgraded to a suite very spacious but unfortunately no view, but very peaceful. great location easy access to everything would definitely recommend

Wow ! What an amazing hotel ! The location perfect, the suite was beautiful , and all the staff so attentive ! What makes this hotel so special was the amazing cocktail bar with the very knowledgable, professional and friendly staff ! Especially the barman called JAMES, I told him what kind of drinks I liked and he advised what cocktail was best and he was spot on ! I LOVED IT! It was my 40th birthday and I couldn’t of asked for a better place to spend it ! Thank you to the the grand hotel ! Highly recommend it ! Especially if you want to try some delicious cocktails!

I expected more of 5 stars hotel. Room was to simple and I found a hair in the shower which should be seen from the cleaner. My boyfriend had birthday and he got sweets as a present. This was very kind. Breakfast was very very good. It was included in our hotel peice. Otherwise I would not pay the amount for it ;-)

First time in Amsterdam, I stayed at the Krasnapolsky for 2 nights for a friend's birthday. Perfect location, close to many attractions and shops and about 10 minutes walk from Amsterdam Centraal. We had a room overviewing Dam Square and the Royal Palace. The spacious room with a modern bathroom was very clean. There were tea and coffee making facilities (Nespresso coffee machine!). Breakfast was served in a very grand restaurant. Very wide choice of great food, pastries, fresh juices, smoked salmon, fruits etc.. Staff were very polite and attentive, specially at the restaurant. I found however the reception staff to lack some warmth, especially when we checked in. Very nice hotel, ideally located, immaculate room and very good food. I would stay again at the Krasnapolsky hotel.

The hotel location is great in Dam square & ideal to visit Amsterdam by foot or tram since the tram stop is 2 minutes away & Central station is 10 minutes away by foot; It is a very busy hotel with nice interiors & lobbies, very well maintained; We stayed in the annexed wing of the hotel & it might be a bit annoying in the morning to go outside then inside (outdoor covered passage linking 2 buildings) for breakfast especially in cold weather; however, it has also a good side since you don’t have to cross the busy lobby to get to your room. The room is well appointed & comfortable, yet with low ceiling & gloomy (a bit dark even with all lights on); we expected a nicer room according to the pics; the bed pillows were very small & the double bed consists of 2 small beds which were a bit tired & uncomfortable for us as a couple; The breakfast was in a very nice room with big variety of food- more chocolate items for the breakfast would have been great; The service was good & fast even during peak time at breakfast; A special attention to the cleanliness in public spaces (bad smell in corridors) & bathrooms (housekeeping leaving towels on floor) would have enhanced our experience. The reception staff was helpful however the check in & check out was very slow & we missed our train on our way back due to a trainee receptionist; Overall it was a good experience and a comfortable stay; however if you’re looking for a calm relaxing hotel this is not the address;
