We just returned from a long weekend at Cap Juluca and it was an amazing experience. Based on the reviews and photos we went in with high expectations and the resort was somehow able to exceed them. The beach is the most beautiful we have seen, the rooms are gorgeous, everything is spaced out enough that you feel a sense of privacy that is unique to our experiences, and the best part of all is the staff. They are helpful with any asks and great at anticipating needs, but most importantly, everyone there is incredibly friendly and seems genuinely happy to be there delivering an amazing experience to each and every guest.

As consistent Belmond customers worldwide, we trust in the Belmond experience for stay, service and experience. Cap Juluca delivers exactly that! I had no concerns in taking my 4 month old on her first trip because I knew we would have been well attended to! From our welcome to our departure, the staff including the manager has been delightful, warm, welcoming and has felt like family. We had one horrible customer service with Aleika ( we felt discriminated against) at Ucchu however, the rest of the staff deeply compensated for it as everyone is generally so lovely, warm and simply delivers that Caribbean love! It was our second stay there and we will definitely be back. 100% recommend! Be sure to look out for wonderful people like Ricardo on the beach, Tyrone on the buggy, Sandra at housekeeping, Keanu at Ucchu, Deandre at the villa host and ALL of the staff at Pimm’s and Cips!

Unfortunately, this wasn’t a 5 star experience or a 5 star property. I have to imagine the other reviews are fake or these people don’t travel much. If you compare it to Las Ventanas (which is the gold standard in my book), this property pales in comparison and basically the same price. Night 1 they forgot turndown which is a big no no in my book. The next morning they didn’t clean the room while we were at breakfast. Simple things like that make a big difference. Room - nothing special Beach service - slow. Restaurants/Food - average if not subpar. Amenities - non existent Staff - very friendly and helpful We visited the Four Seasons as well, that place was a dump, crowed was a bit trashy. Stacy clear of FS. Sadly, I recommend skipping the island altogether.

Amazing resort and phenomenal service. If you’re looking for the best beach and being completed spoiled- this is the place for you. If you want pools and “Miami scene” go to the four seasons. Two different kind of resorts! It’s very $ but you do get personalized service, all the extra touches like a bottle of Moët on our anniversary, chocolates in the room at night, concierge recommendations that are spot on! The people are amazing! Shot out to Gene!! We will be back
