We had the pleasure of spending the day at Aurora waterpark! It was amazing, the pool attendants , life guards were so wonderful and friendly ! To our delight , we ran into our friend Justin “Justin time” we we had the pleasure to meet at our last trip , who is now an ambassador in training at Aurora- all I can say is how lucky Aurora is to have Justin! He is the perfect ambassador for this amazing property! Thanks Justin for giving us an amazing time - until next time !

Arrival: welcome Aurora mocktail and warm greeting with Shema. Our energetic concierge Mireille is well connected for booking dining, taxis and excursions. Fast and efficient in responding. We stayed in a spacious 800 sq.ft room in building #6 with spectacular view of St. Marteen. The white sandy beach is the highlight in Rendezvous Bay. Perks include a lemon water and suntan lotion stations, and your own ice cooler. Attendants like the wonderful Merlyn provide towel service and order taking from the menu. There are daily tastings of sorbet or fruit on the beach. Activities: kayaking, sunfish sailing, and sailing the catamaran daily. Suggestion: provide a larger sail for one of the catamarans and an extension tiller for the sunfish. It would be safer and provide optimal sailing ⛵️for experienced sailors. Also there is snorkeling on the stretch of beach, yet there are other locations and excursions around Anguilla. Played tennis every day in the early evening. Courts in great condition and have excellent night lights. Start your morning at Chef’s Table where excellent staff bring delicious coffee with a smile and a nice chat. The buffet is extensive and eggs are prepared any way by the chef. Shout out to: friendly Dwaynesha, zen Nievan, Samaro, Samantha & Sherine. Recommend the Thursday Lobster (crayfish) BBQ at C-Level with live entertainment. Band Omalie 360 rocked! Highly recommend the Flora & Fauna tour with Rohan. Got a look at the hydroponic garden and tasted the cherry tomatoes. We visited Merrywing Bay by taking the 10 minute shuttle bus. The Entertainment Park is impressive for families. Anguilla has ample restaurants. Our top three were: Pimms & Uchu at Cap Juluca Resort (outstanding setting), and Veya dining by the full Pink Moon. Also great, Blanchard’s for great vibe and Sharky’s. Calypso Charters was a fast 25 minute boat ride to and from the airport in St. Marteen. Summary: friendly people, gorgeous beaches, great dining and ample activities. Highly recommend Aurora Resort (5 ⭐️) and we hope to go back.

Staying at the Aurora means having the perfect vacation in every way. The resort itself is stunningly beautiful (Rendezvous side is 💯), the food is delicious (the best breakfast buffet we’ve ever had), the beach set up is like no other, every chair is on the ocean (having a beach cooler per room is such a nice touch). Best of all is the staff there. Every hotel going forward I will compare them to Aurora, such genuinely nice people work there (special shout outs to Justin and most of all our “butler” for the week, Rakeem, just the coolest beyond being as perfect as you can be at that job. I cannot say enough good things about the Aurora besides I can’t wait to get back there again, hopefully soon!

First I want to start off by stating we have travelled to many Caribbean locations over the years and Anguilla is one we have returned to each year for over 17 years. We love Anguilla and Aurora Resort. We are always asked will you stay anywhere else in Anguilla and our answer is always the same ABSOLUTELY NOT!. This year we stayed for two weeks and we are looking forward to staying 3 weeks next year. People ask why do you love it so much and my first response is the people and of course the best beach. Let me give you a small glimpse into the love we have for this resort. You are greeted with Just-in-Time (Justin) who we were so thrilled to see at the resort when we arrived. Justin always has a smile and knows all you need to know about the resort. Job well done getting him back at the hotel. They have added that in certain rooms you get your very own Butler. Last year I was not sure how I felt about it since our Butler last year was not the best. This year we had Rakeem and now I know how it should be done and Rakeem gets it done. He was truly amazing. He was on even when he was off. His days off are not really off he will answer and help day or night. He would go the extra mile each and every day. From changing our dinner reservations to getting us ice cream from Blanchards Beach Shack. He loves what he does and you see that each and everyday. Rakeem will be a part of our stays there for years to come. We spend each day at the beach from morning to closing, we are true beach lovers. So we spend a lot of time getting to know the beach staff. The beach staff our the best! Keemi, Darian always running setting up the chairs, getting drinks, or just checking in on you to make sure you are ok. Keemi would get my husband ice coffee and chocolate chip cookies whenever requested. Keemi and Darian always have a smile or a wave when passing you on the beach. They had my chairs set up each day before I even got to the beach. Kudos to them for knowing how to make us all happy when we are relaxing and soaking up the sun. Mortin would bring around frozen towels, fruit, or sorbet a great bonus that we are glad that Aurora kept going when they took over. These guys work in the rain and the heat I can not say enough about their work ethic Marlin and Jarod in water sports know how to make your wonderful vacation even better. Taking you out to see sea-life was amazing. Jarod had patience finding turtle and letting the girls swim a little. Make sure if you are vacationing you go out on the sailboat with one of these guys. Breakfast at Chef's Table has improved greatly even from last year. Each staff member is again so friendly and helpful Kevan is always willing to help make your breakfast exactly what you are wanting. Each day we would eat lunch at C Level. So the first day we sat down and they had changed the menu a bit. We are creatures of habit so we asked if they could make salsa for us (I saw the head chef and asked him too) the next day we had salsa. Each day we were there salsa and chips were on our table. Thank you for being so accommodating. Sammaro saw that I was eating the fish bites but didn't really want it deep fried so he had them flour it a bit for me PERFECT! It's these little things that make it so special. Joyce Gumbs what can I say we surprised her with my daughter who she has not seen in 5 years. Priceless is all I can say.... Joyce had tears when she and my daughter exchanged the biggest hug. Family.... Joyce also always had our lunch ready for us knowing exactly what we wanted. Tiana and Gregory were also a great addition to C Level always greeting us and making sure we were having a great day. Nick the golf pro also needs a shout out! I have never golfed a day in my life so my husband decided to get us some lessons with Nick. I am so happy he did. Nick was super patient with me and taught me so much. I have been practicing back home and sending Nick some photos of my progress. Can not wait to show him in person when we visit again. I also want to mention if you are booking this trip yourself please reach out to Dona Kirwan at the hotel. I have only used her when booking and she gets it done and also gets back to you right away. I have had a little frustrations with the experience team so I always copy Dona on my emails. If you want to travel to a littel hidden gem Anguilla is it and there is no hotel on the island that can beat Aurora's staff or the beach

The Aurora Resort was an absolutely top notch experience, from our attentive personal concierge, Mimi, who made sure we had everything we needed, to the outstanding bartenders, Brenda, Dave, and Karen, to the newly minted manager Justin, who always came by to see how we were doing. Fantastic location, top shelf accommodations and service, and, since it’s Anguilla, among the friendliest and sincere staff you could hope to meet.
