My husband and I visited Bucuti last October and absolutely loved this hotel. It is perfect for those who enjoy a smaller resort with a beautiful beach and amazing service. The service is what really makes this hotel special. Carlos was our beach attendant for a few days and was so attentive and hard working. He was so proactive checking in on us and anticipating our needs. Jessica at the bar went out of her way to find strawberries to make the strawberry mojitos I requested, I'm so glad she did because they were amazing!!! We booked a Tara suite and loved the convenience of walking right out onto the beach. The Tara suites have been renovated since our visit but we thought the room was nicely laid out and spacious. The TV in the bathroom mirror was a feature I really loved because even when you are getting ready for dinner you are entertained (we visited during football season so this was a big plus). The complimentary breakfast that was served in the common area of the Tara suites was delicious as well as the breakfast at Elements. We had dinner at Elements the last night of our stay and really enjoyed it. We were able to try other restaurants on the island but decided this was at the top of our list. After visiting the Palm beach area, we were so happy we chose to stay on Eagle Beach where it is less commercialized and more serene. My husband and I loved the atmosphere this resort provided and it has become one of our favorite hotels in the Caribbean. We decided to book a return trip to Aruba solely based on our incredible experience at Bucuti & Tara. We are counting down the days to another wonderful stay, one week to go!!!

We loved our stay in room 225 and plan on returning. Wonderful service, beach, pool, restaurant and fitness room! The refrigerator in the room kept our beverages icy cold. The rainfall shower was nice as well, just be sure to put the bathmat outside the shower due to the open entrance to the stall. The bed was super comfortable and we slept very well. Marie Celie kept our room spotless and brought us an espresso machine with pods! When you check in, ask for the maintenance person to adjust the air conditioning to turn off the sensor. This way the room will stay cold always instead of just when it senses motion. Also a plus is that the resort does not automatically apply 15% gratuity and lets you decide how much to tip. There were only 2 things we were not pleased with: We made reservations 10 months in advance and requested a first floor suite when we booked but did not get one. We also requested a late check out of 1 PM instead of noon and we were not accommodated. We do understand the resort was at full capacity. Overall, a delightful stay and we would recommend and return!

We recently stayed at the resort for our honeymoon in our first ever trip to Aruba. We picked the resort for the exact reason of wanting to have a quiet area to relax and not to worry about space on the beach. We had plenty of space to ourselves on the beach and no problem finding a spot at any point. The resort was quiet but also offered chances to interact with others at happy hours and meals. The section of Eagle Beach the resort is on is gorgeous. The resort sits in an area where you can walk to the market, the casino and several restaurants and gift shops which was great. Our room was one of the oceanview bungalows which was nice. We were greeted with champagne in the lobby at check-in as well as honeymoon surprises in our room. The room was plenty big enough for the two of us on our honeymoon and was recently renovated. We were concerned about being on the ground floor but we were literally steps from the beach and pool area. We had to be mindful of the blinds at times but this was not a big issue. The staff (Jasmine) kept our room very clean and responded to any requests we had. The staff was great as everyone was pleasant and supported the mantra of One Happy Island. Vincent and Mario greeted us and quickly got us taxis whenever we ventured out on the town. Orville took great care of us getting food/drinks for us on the beach. The bartenders were great and we took advantage of daily happy hours with music and free apps. Toine and James were very helpful getting excursions booked/changed at the concierge desk and were able to provide a lot of options and information. Johnnie did a wonderful job waiting on us for our romantic beach dinner. The Elements restaurant offered a very nice daily breakfast buffet with a great variety of breakfast foods. We ate lunch there several times as well and enjoyed our food. In addition, we had a delicious romantic sunset dinner on the beach which we would highly recommend. The food and service were great. We did the Carte Blanche fine dining experience and enjoyed that as well. The five-course meal with wine pairing was delicious. In summary, we loved both Bucuti & Tara and the island. We traveled freely through the island without care for our safety and were able to enjoy dinners out, shopping and excursions. The most convincing review we can give is that we will certainly be returning to stay there again hopefully sooner rather than later. We would highly suggest Bucuti for anyone looking for a romantic vacation!

My husband and I spent our 16th Anniversary here. We can't say enough about this place. Our first time going adult only, not all inclusive was great. Can't say enough how beautiful the hotel is. Room perfect, beach breath taking. Amenities spot on. Thank you. Will definitely not go anywhere else. Can't wait to see you 🌴☀️🥂

This past February my wife and I stayed at Bucuti for the first time to celebrate our 25th Wedding Anniversary. Since then I have read many wonderful reviews for the resort, all well deserved. So I thought I would concentrate my review on the things that you might miss out on if you stay at Bucuti. So here we go: If you like the coziness of long check-in lines and long check-in times where you can get to know the other guests stuck in the same predicament you are in, then you are out of luck here… Nothing but friendly and attentive staff who get you into your room quickly and comfortably. If you like the idea that you are one out of 1000 guests, (validating the idea that you must be at a popular destination), this will be a real disappointment since there are only 104 rooms although they are generally filled to capacity If you enjoy the sound of children running around the resort, bumping into you and splashing in the pool you will definitely be upset… No kids If you like crowded beaches and fighting for place in the sand to place an umbrella, you will definitely find this resort lacking… Spacious white beaches with room to relax is all they offer If you want a huge swimming pool that you can enjoy with 50 other people, you won’t find it here…. just a nice pool that offers a change of pace from the beach which is the main attraction in Aruba If you enjoy the long walk down to the concierge desk so that you can get some exercise while your attempting to plan your next excursion, you may be disappointed… There are multiple concierge desks conveniently located with the main desk being open 24 hours a day. If you enjoy the consistency of being offered the same breakfast entrées endlessly so that you really don’t have to be concerned about making choices, this place may not be for you… The included breakfast consists of a cornucopia of exotic fruits, cheeses, meats, cereals as well as prepared and cooked-to-order selections If you enjoy the challenge of trying to situate your less than comfortable beach chair in the sand and cover it with your beach towels while fighting the constant Aruba breeze, this place is definitely not for you…Bucuti’s excellent staff will help guide you to a comfortable place on the beach, and offer you a padded beach chair, fitted with a terry cloth cover which remains on the chair even after you get up… yes you actually get to use your beach towel as a towel If you want to celebrate a special occasion with no help from the resort, then make sure you do not mention it to the Bucuti staff… They made my wife and I feel very welcomed and special for our 25th wedding anniversary which also happened to be on Valentine’s Day. If you prefer not to have any interaction with management, then you should avoid this place… The management, as well as the owner, is always present, routinely interact with the guests and are always concerned about your level of satisfaction without being intrusive. At the end of your stay if you enjoy extending your vacation by waiting in the room while you wait for the bellman to retrieve your luggage, you’ll be disappointed to have your vacation cut short when the staff shows up to your room promptly… Although you could just send the extra time at the beach If you’re excited about the idea of having a great excuse not to work out either because there are no gym facilities or there are pathetic gym facilities, you’re out of excuses here… The freestanding workout facility is clean, organized and well equipped whether you are doing cardiovascular or weight training you will be very satisfied. If you like getting cabs to drive all over the island to dinner, well, you can still do that… But you don’t have to there is a casino and many nice places to dine within walking distance, not to mention the excellent restaurants at the resort As you can see there are many reasons why people may not find exactly what they want at Bucuti, however, if you’re anything like Sylvia and I then you couldn’t be happier to be stay at this excellent resort. This is one of the nicest, most relaxing, well-run, well-maintained and most romantic resorts in the world, not to mention Aruba. We’ll be back—faults and all :)
