Bucuti & Tara Beach Resort Aruba

We’ve been coming here for years for our anniversary. Everyone is so friendly and nice no matter where you go in Aruba. The people at Bucuti & Tara are the best; so friendly, helpful, and kind. This year was our 50th wedding anniversary and we were Surprised with a special dessert after our romantic dinner on the beach at sun down.

My husband and I have traveled in the Caribbean many times and have always stayed at all-inclusive resorts. This was our first trip to Aruba and we decided to stay at Bucuti and Tara even though it is not all-inclusive and we are so glad we did. It is a small resort which gives it a very intimate and cozy feel. The beach is absolutely stunning. There are two restaurants at the resort, Elements and Terra. There is an included breakfast buffet at Elements which has beachside seating. We enjoyed this each morning. They also serve lunch and dinner. Dinner was always amazing. Terra serves dinner only and we ate there once. The food and service here are five star but be warned it is a small space and the seating is close. During our week stay we only ate off-site once and regretted it. You will not want to dine anywhere else! One of the things we absolutely loved was the beach umbrella reservation system. Each day at 5:00 pm B&T opens reservations for the next day. This is accessible on their app. It allows you to choose the umbrella and chairs you want to use the next day. No more getting up at the crack of dawn to “save” a seat! And because there are more umbrellas than rooms, you’re guaranteed to get a spot. The service is also 10/10. The staff is there to make the guests happy and they do it with a smile. From the concierge service to the wait staff and the room staff, everyone at Bucuti and Tara helped make our stay one of the best experiences we’ve ever had. We can’t wait to go back!

This was our second time at the resort. We both agreed that it is the most exquisite beach experience we’ve had. The chairs, cold towels, fresh cut fruit, smoothies, service and the gorgeous view were top notch. We will certainly return. The staff made sure to meet our every need and then some. Bravo 🙌

We recently celebrated our 27th wedding anniversary at the Bucuti & Tara Beach Resort, and it was truly a special experience. From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable—our concierge, Nora, welcomed us with champagne in the lobby and made our check-in seamless, with our luggage already waiting for us in our room. ​The breakfast experience at Elements was a highlight of every morning. A special thank you to Juan and his 'teammate,' Poko the parrot, who made us laugh and feel so welcome while providing efficient and personalized service. We also want to recognize Claudia and Izzy for their outstanding care. The entire team went above and beyond to ensure our happiness. ​The beach itself is the true star—it is peaceful, spacious, and stress-free, with no need to compete for chairs or umbrellas. We also loved the resort’s sustainable approach, including the high-quality, reusable thermos bottles provided to guests. ​We did provide some constructive feedback to the resort regarding in-room technology and minor maintenance needs, but these were small points in an otherwise stellar stay. We felt very well cared for throughout and look forward to returning.

Wonderful staff. Gorgeous beach. This was our second visit. We’re already planning our next trip! Well worth it!
