This is our fourth stay at Bucuti and Tara and the only place we will stay when visiting Aruba! Bucuti is a beautiful, well cared for resort with the most amazing staff, who become beloved friends. In addition, Bucuti has achieved the highest level of sustainability, a shining example of commitment. Eagle beach is the best, and Bucuti offers plenty of chairs and umbrellas for all guests and the ability to reserve your chairs for the next day makes for greater relaxation. Elements restaurant and the Sandbar are excellent and adult only. The newest restaurant, Terra, is beautiful, intimate and the food is incredible ... not to be missed! Bucuti also has many wellness options that can be explored on the website.

The location of this resort is excellent. The property is beautifully maintained and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Many restaurants, convenience store (The Market) , shopping mall and restaurants within neighbouring resorts all within a short walking distance. The beach is amazing, the water was a bit rougher than we are used to so if you’re not a strong swimmer you may prefer the pool area. There are more than enough beach loungers and the reservation system through the iPad located in your room is perfect. I knew that all beaches in Aruba are public. However, I wasn’t aware of the public access area between Manchebo Beach Resort and Bucuti and Tara Resort. You will notice children and locals in that area and on the beach in front of the resort. The bed was very comfortable and the service from the moment we arrived was excellent. My husband and I celebrated our anniversary and stayed in room 253 (top floor, had a partial view of the ocean from our balcony ). Thank you for the champagne, cheese, crackers and cookies upon our arrival! Breakfast was wonderful each morning with a beautiful view of the beach and great service. Bathroom had Aruba Aloe shampoo, conditioner, soap and moisturizing lotion. Typically I do not use the products provided by the resorts I stay at, but found these products great. I could have left my products at home! The resort was quiet and very relaxing. This is not an inexpensive resort but worth it if you want to be directly on the beach, do not want to worry about beach chairs, and have the ability to walk to many restaurants and shopping. We did take a taxi downtown (Oranjestad) for a shopping day. Taxis were not consistent in their pricing …always ask them for a price beforehand. We decided against renting a vehicle as we did not feel comfortable driving in another country ( fast paced driving, no traffic lights or stop signs in Aruba-all roundabouts ) We opted to focus on relaxing on the beach most days. Although there are many day trips and tours offered through the hotel. (Cash payments for taxis, and any tours you book to third party providers). There were 2 washers and 2 dryers available for use should you need to do laundry. The filtered water stations had the best tasting water! And we loved our complimentary stainless steel reusable water bottles. El Patio mexican restaurant had a great authentic mexican ambiance and the best margaritas, Twist of Flavour was another favourite restaurant (loved the greek salad with chicken!), and the Fusion Restaurant wine & Piano Bar had the best burgers as well as premium mixed drinks along with live music! All in all we had a great vacation and would recommend Bucuti and Tara Resort to anyone who prefers a quiet, relaxing Caribbean vacation.

Just came back from our babymoon here and had the most amazing week. The hotel is beautiful with easy access to the beach and pool, and zero worry about getting a beach chair. The staff goes out of their way at every turn to make it a memorable experience. We booked our return trip from the comfort of our beach chair!

We go the VIP Arrival transfer to the Resort worth every penny. Our escort met us as we exited the Airplane. Go us through Customs and to the car in less than 5 minutes. Everything at the resort was 1st class. We will be coming Back

Lovely contemporary Tara suites, great wellness programs and concierge services, but the hotel overall was not for us. The resort is at the heart of Eagle Beach and an easy taxi ride (taxis are great) to anywhere to eat. Elements and Tara breakfast restaurant was subpar at best with food quality and presentation. Shaksuka eggs smothered in red pepper soup, dinners were Holiday Inn quality (no offense), just not the standard you would expect at this price point. Shrimp cocktail was a prime example. There are so many dinner options on the island, it didn't really matter in the end. The beach (Eagle Beach) is outstanding, however the serenity is lacking. Face timing patrons, loud business calls on the beach, TVs at the beach bar, a small pool with echoing accoustics, plenty of sirens and the odd 45 minute midday generator test, do not make for quiet beach time. There is no Caribbean feel here whatsoever, it is essentially a blend of Florida and Arizona with a beautiful white sand beach, and great wellness amenties. Were it not for the wellness component, you are better off saving a lot of money and renting a condo across the street There is no evening musical entertainment for couples wishing to dance a little, only movie night under the stars which can be OK if you happen to like the movie. Do not book any of the four cottage suites unless you want to enjoy your patio right next to public walkways, the entrance to the Tara building and best of all the washrooms separating two of those suites from the pool. Who designed this??? Without any nightly entertainment and subpar food, it is only the staff and wellness that draws you here as the beach is public access with plenty of space. I'm sure the resort appeals to many, but it's a one off for us.
