Aruba is one of the most most beautiful islands I have been to and I have been to almost every Caribbean island there is. The weather is perfect every day, sunny with occasional clouds, temperature in the mid 80s with a breeze that makes it comfortable. Staying at Barcuti and Tara was a wonderful experience. The staff was warm, welcoming, informative, and made you feel at home. The food was superb. The hotel was clean with an excellent fitness center. Eagle Beach was amazing, Clean, sand you can walk on comfortably with different shades of blue water which was a sight to be seen. Can see why it’s one of the best beaches in the world. I highly recommend a trip to Aruba and staying Barcuti and Tara hotel

This was our 14th stay at the Bucuti. Every year we have a great time. The staff is fantastic and very welcoming and the reason we return. If you are looking for place that is relaxing and calm, this is it. We are already booked for next year!

This was our first visit to Bucuti & Tara Resort, and it did not disappoint. We had previously stayed at the Marriott Stellaris in Palm Beach about four years ago, so we weren’t exactly sure what to expect from Bucuti. It was definitely a different experience. At the Marriott, we felt like we were in the middle of everything and could walk most places, only needing a cab a couple of times. When we booked Bucuti, we chose the Tara Suite and knew in advance that it was an adults-only, quiet resort. We weren’t sure if that was really what we wanted — until we arrived last week. The resort itself, along with the view, created the perfect beautiful beach-vacation vibe: laid-back, relaxing, and peaceful. We thought we would be taking cabs every night searching for things to do, but we didn’t need to. We found everything we needed right there at the resort. One thing that really stood out was the beach itself. It is very large, and the lounge chairs are spaced apart so you never feel like you’re sitting on top of other guests. You don’t see that very often at resorts, and we really appreciated it. The water at Eagle Beach also seemed clearer to us than what we remembered at Palm Beach. At least during our stay four years ago, Palm Beach had a lot more activity in the water, including boats, jet skis, and other traffic. In contrast, the beach and water view from Bucuti felt much more serene and beautiful. One of the things we loved most was the chair reservation system. It was fantastic — we never had to worry about finding lounge chairs on the beach, which was a first for us at any resort. The beach bar was excellent, and the restaurants were just as good. I especially loved the ceviche, and my fiancé loved the octopus. We ended up ordering both almost daily. We also used the gym four times during our week-long stay, and it had everything we needed and more. We had 90-minute massages at the spa, and they were wonderful. Breakfast was included and served each morning in the Tara Lounge, where the food was delicious. A few evenings, we also used the Tara Lounge to play cards and Yahtzee, which made for a nice relaxing end to the day. We went on the VIP Spanish Lagoon excursion and loved it. It was a lot of fun — definitely try the rope swing! We also used the VIP arrival service. While it was a very nice luxury, it didn’t save us a great deal of time at border control since we were seated near the front of the plane and there weren’t many people in line ahead of us. If another flight had arrived at the same time or just before us, it likely would have been much more helpful. We did enjoy the service. We also dined at Terra restaurant and ordered à la carte. I loved the chicken and pull-apart bread, and the tres leches dessert was amazing. There were also several nearby places we enjoyed. El Patio, which serves Mexican food, tequila, and tacos, was very close and quite good. We visited a piano bar that had live music — although, ironically, not piano music when we went there or on a few nights we walked past — and Water’s Edge, which we thought the view was perfect but the food was just okay. We also took cabs to Driftwood and to a nearby speakeasy called Apotek, which had a very cool vibe and worth checking out! (Again, Driftwood food to us was just ok.). Another cab ride took us to Wacky Wahoo for dinner. I had one of their daily fish specials which included barracuda and was delicious. It was also worth the trip. Note: they do not take reservations.. Overall, Bucuti & Tara exceeded our expectations. It was peaceful, beautiful, and had everything we needed for a relaxing and memorable stay. We would definitely return.
