Bucuti & Tara Beach Resort Aruba

Year after year we return to Bucuti. The reason is that we cannot find another place that makes us feel as special as the Bucuti staff make us feel. Everything they do makes you feel like you are special and no request has been beyond reason. One year I could not walk due to a medical issue. They gave me a wheelchair to use, no issue and special assistance. This year I was fine. Most of the people we meet are return quests and the newbies seem to say " See you next year!" We will be there.

Bucuti and Tara is a beautiful place to relax and unwind. The food, staff, service, beach, and accommodations are top notch. Once you stay here, no other hotel will measure up. We love it!!!

I chose Bucuti & Tara to celebrate my residency graduation, and I truly couldn’t have picked a more perfect place for such a special milestone. From the moment we arrived until the day we left, Bucuti & Tara exceeded every expectation. This was, without a doubt, one of the best resort experiences I’ve ever had. The staff made us feel genuinely welcome from day one. Every single person we encountered was warm, attentive, and went above and beyond to make our stay special. The level of service is truly exceptional. The beach is absolutely breathtakingpeaceful, pristine, and never overcrowded. If you’re looking for a relaxing adults-only escape, this is the perfect place. The atmosphere throughout the resort is calm, elegant, and exactly what we were hoping for. The food was another highlight. Every meal at Elements was delicious, with outstanding quality, fresh ingredients, and beautiful presentation. We found ourselves looking forward to every breakfast and dinner. The entire property is impeccably maintained, and you can tell that every detail is thoughtfully designed to create a luxurious yet comfortable experience. We loved our stay so much that we already booked our trip for next year before even leaving. That says everything. Bucuti & Tara made my graduation celebration even more memorable, and I can’t imagine a better place to celebrate such an important milestone. We can’t wait to come back. Thank you to the entire team for making our vacation unforgettable!

Wouldn’t change anything. The rooms and property were pristine. Very kind staff. Stress free. Very private. We felt like we were almost the only people there. Great job.

Where to begin?! Once we arrived, we were given champagne. Always a nice touch when arriving somewhere. Literally, my only (minor) complaint is that we had to wait for our room. We arrived around 2 PM. To pass the time until we could check in, we ate lunch at the bar which is a part of the restaurant on site called Elements. My favorites for lunch were the tofu sashimi, fish tacos, French onion soup and the tofu bowl. I’d also insist on eating at Terra-also onsite. Breakfast is included in your stay, which was always very good. They have a small buffet, made to order eggs and specialties for no extra charge. I got an iced matcha latte with vanilla syrup every day. It was glorious. We came here for our 5 year wedding anniversary and received a block of cheese, coconut crackers, a bottle of champagne and some delicious macarons. In comparison, another hotel in St. Lucia we stayed at forgot it was our honeymoon and we had to contact the desk twice reminding them. It’s the details like that that separate the boys from the men. Our room had a beautiful view of the beach. The beach was phenomenal and the pool, very relaxing. Reserve a spot on the beach or at the pool daily using the tablet in your room. When you arrive, it’ll be set up for you with towels. One day on the beach, the staff gave everyone a coconut filled with coconut water! I took a yoga class with “healing sounds” which was relaxing. The huge fans on the deck were certainly nice. They offer some complimentary yoga, meditation and pilates classes, albeit very early in the morning (7 AM usually). They play free movies outside twice a week. You receive a different loose leaf tea in your room every evening which I absolutely LOVED. Housekeeping cleans not once but TWICE day and provides turn down service. The staff even organized the items in the bathrooms which I personally loved. You’re walking distance to a casino and a small mall which also has some shops and restaurants. You can also take a taxi into various parts of Aruba. They’re usually waiting outside of the hotel. We went to the high rise district one night for dinner and shopping which was about 10-15 minutes away and an $18 ride one way. Uber does not exist here. The service everywhere and from everyone was top notch. We received better customer service here than a lot of the places in the US now. I usually don’t prefer to go anywhere more than once-we only have one life to live, after all, but we would love to go back! If you love quiet resorts, Bucuti & Tara is definitely for you. We didn’t know this was considered a wellness resort upon booking, but we are now fans of this type of hotel!
