Bucuti & Tara Beach Resort Aruba

This was our second visit to this lovely resort. This year, we were able to share the experience with our adult children, who absolutely fell in love with the resort and the warm, friendly staff. I will share names…if I don’t mention a name, it might be that we didn’t get to know some as well as others, or that I couldn’t see the name tag very well as my eyes are older now! As soon as we arrived, and walked into Elements for lunch, I was embraced in a hug by Luis. We got to know him last stay, and on our last day this year, he shared with us photos of his beautiful family. Christian, who served us our anniversary dinner last year also showed such kindness. Rambo, who always has a smile…his mom, who brought the plucky Paco, the female parrot to live at the resort, and share with guests…I discovered several family members who are in employ of the resort. It truly feels good to be in their company. It’s not performance, these are truly good people. Breakfast is for us, such a lovely time of day. The offerings are delightful. The fresh juices, the delicious juice shots, and the beautiful and abundant fruits. We so enjoy the healthy selections. The ladies and gentlemen at breakfast make you happy first thing in the morning. Juan, who sings and gets Paco laughing and being silly. Juan gave us the cutest, little “I Love Aruba” mini license plate. We DO love Aruba BECAUSE OF Bucuti and Tara. Jerry, who made acquaintance with our daughter…they talked of her possible visit to NYC, I’d be thrilled if she were to visit and my daughter would be happy to show her around a bit. The young gentlemen who work so hard on beach service, I could go on and on… It’s quite obvious that eagle Beach is stunning. It’s quite obvious that Aruba is a safe and beautiful island. It’s quite obvious that travelers have many and varied choices for accommodations. We would never stay anywhere else. I have left out some details so that I could focus on why we love the resort so much…the people! I can confidently say that the experience at Bucuti and Tara exceeds any high end property with big name recognition. I can confidently say our room was always perfectly kept. I can confidently say that turndown and tea service are amazing. I can confidently say that all the little treats that the beach staff surprised us with each day were delightful. I can more confidently say that it’s the people who make this property so very special. Please know how much we appreciated each and every one of you, and we look forward to seeing you all again. It's a beautiful resort that is peaceful, clean, and has a top notch staff. Everyone makes you feel welcome and everything is easy to access.

From the moment we stepped into the Bucuti and Tara resort, we were treated like members of an extended family! Rachelle greeted us with a warm smile and a glass of champagne and guided us through resort opportunities and the excursions we had booked. Our week-long visit was absolute perfection–a wonderful balance between relaxation, meeting new friends, and trying new experiences. Every staff member we met made us feel welcomed, which was deeply meaningful to us as a gay couple. A surprise engagement was carefully orchestrated (including keeping one of us in the dark from check-in to the romantic beach-font dinner) and it seemed that the entire staff offered their heartfelt congratulations in the days following our celebration. We enjoyed wonderful food at Elements each day and a magical tasting dinner experience at Tara as well. Our outdoor couples massage was incredibly relaxing, with a constant warm breeze as a friendly companion. We were sad to depart, but grateful to do so with a heartfelt hug for Rachelle and all of the beautiful people working at Bucuti and Tara. We look forward to returning to a place where we know we will feel included and cared for from arrival to departure!

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary here and from the moment we arrived we knew this was a special place. Greeted with champagne and cool towels, we were immediately given a quick property tour so we knew where all of the amenities were located. The view of the beach is spectacular, with turquoise waters and gorgeous soft white sand. We stayed in the Junior Suite and it was spacious and well appointed with comfy beds and lovely furnishings. The onsite restaurants are fabulous. 10/10 for sure! Book it now you won't be sorry!
