What a spot to unwind! First, the beach is GORGEOUS. Think crystal clear water with tiny rolling waves, giant umbrellas (more than the number of guests) well spaced for privacy, and never any crowding. Raise your flag, and a smiling staff member will miraculously appear, ready to provide drinks, snacks, or extra towels. The same smiles will appear everywhere, from the attentive concierge staff to the housekeeper who tidies your room twice daily. The view from the beachfront restaurant, ELEMENTS, is so stunning at sunset that you will have trouble concentrating on your meal. (The food is good but not standout.) It's all about the staff. They take care of everything, so you don't have to fuss. Take a snorkeling tour, or the terrific birding tour offered by photographer Michiel Oversteegen. The hotel will arrange it all for you. Relax and enjoy.

This may be the best place in Aruba to spend a quiet and relaxing getaway. My husband and I just returned from a weeklong stay (our 3rd time) and will definitely return. The hotel is just as it says, a quiet adults only retreat. If you are looking to unwind, this is the place. The rooms are nicely appointment and the service is exceptional. The friendliness of the staff is unmatched. The beach and water are beautiful beyond description and the fact that you have the ability to reserve your chairs and umbrella is an absolute bonus. Breakfast is one of the best parts of the day as the setting is serene. Having an evening cocktail at the bar or eating dinner in one of the two restaurants is an outstanding experience. This resort is well worth the money. Over three stays, we have not been disappointed in anything.

Bucuti and Tara is SO clean - the standard to which all properties should be held. The beach is phenomenal and weI could swim several hundred yards between the ropes. Beach service is excellent. The staff is as friendly as they come. Breakfast is fabulous. Eco-conscious resort.

We just returned from our 9th trip to Bucuti. Year after year, there are things you can always count on when you stay here: Rik's champagne welcome is always a highlight of my trip. What better way to welcome you "home"; Jasmine once again took excellent care of our room. She always greets us with a smile and warm conversation; Nakarid, Juan and Rambo are excellent servers at breakfast, while also offering a little entertainment and a lot of laughter!; Karen, Robert, Greg, Aldrick, Thaia, Carlos and the rest of the bar staff are all amazing. They are all excellent bartenders. And for those whose names I don't recall, you all deserve a shout out too. Every interaction with a Bucuti employee is always very pleasant and positive. Bucuti & Tara was the perfect honeymoon destination. Every single member of the staff was incredible, from concierge to groundskeepers. The beach was ranked #1 in the world for a reason. The best part was the umbrella system, where you don’t neee to wake up early to claim your spot. There’s more chairs than guests, and they’re all great. We’d recommend this resort to any adult couple, and will absolutely be returning.
