This was our 10th visit to the Bucuti & Tara Beach Resort and on the second day of our two-week stay we booked the 11th. The Bucuti has become our regular destination for a variety of reasons. For starters, Aruba is easy to get to. Non-stop flights take us there from our East Coast home in just over four hours. The island is below the hurricane belt and, at 12 degrees above the Equator, it is always warm. The islanders are exceptionally friendly, multi-lingual and welcoming. The Bucuti is well-maintained and constantly being updated. The staff is attentive and ready to please. But the best part of any stay at the Bucuti is its location. Midway between the cruise-ship bustle of Oranjestad and the jam-packed beaches, shopping malls and jet ski/DJ/casino mayhem of the High-Rise district on the island's north end, the Bucuti is on the wide, white sand of Eagle Beach. There are more than enough beach-umbrellas and lounges to go around with plenty of space for quiet novel reading, nodding off or just staring off over the azure blue waters for the Caribbean. You can almost feel the stress slip out of your body. When you get tired of relaxing, you can take a dip in the sea or the crystal-clear pool or just pop up the red flag attached to your chair and Orville will show up to offer you a cold drink or a tasty snack. Plus, the hotel and beach are non-smoking and children, while loved, are not welcome. Some days, the hardest decision to make is whether to go out for dinner or dine at one of the Bucuti's fine restaurants. Decisions, decisions, decisions. We have already made our decision to keep returning to the Bucuti.

Miles of white sand beach, vast expanse of turquoise ocean, sea water, a perfect temperature, caressing your skin. Where are the crowds? We feel we've died and arrived in paradise. But it doesn't end there! The staff are professional and well trained and actually seem to be enjoying what they do. By the end of the week they all seemed like family. Rooms are spotless and so comfortable and food and service at Elements restaurant left nothing to be desired. THIS IS PERFECTION. We'll be back!

After traveling the Caribbean over the years, we have never felt more welcome or more at ease while on vacation. Bucuti simply felt like home. From the moment we pulled up, Frank was running out to us as we pulled up waving and greeting us almost before we got off the bus! Our concierge Mary-Ann was very welcoming and greeted us with cold towels and champaign. Everyone at the resort were very friendly. Thank you to John and Oriana at Happy Hour for your great service. After walking the beach both ways, Bucuti definitely, in our opinion, is the best resort with a great location on the beach. The resort is also close to many restaurants within walking distance from the resort. The food at Bucuti itself is very good. Never had a bad meal. Bucuti lived up to expectations and then some. Thank you to Simone for finding us a room and working with us when we were stranded from our flight being canceled a few hours before departure. That was very much appreciated and just one of the many reasons we will be back!

My wife and I had not been back to Aruba in over 30 years and wanted to spend a week at a classy, peaceful, beautiful resort on a great beach. Our travel agent recommended the Bucuti&Tara and it was the perfect choice. We were greeted at the entrance by Frank who gave us a huge welcome and treated us like long lost family members. We were then escorted to a registration desk for a champagne greeting and tour of the resort and our room. We had reserved a Tara Ocean Suite which was divided into two sections both of which contained large tv’s that carried all the major American networks as well as ESPN. Both areas could be closed off from one another which is great if someone wants to retire earlier than their partner. The beach is the best in Aruba and the water is crystal clear and perfect for swimming. The food at Elements Restaurant was so good that we only left the resort grounds a few times. The Sandbar, the outside Restaurant and Bar, is reserved for resort guests and provides a nice feeling of comfort and security. On multiple occasions during our stay, I heard people say: “This place is great, isn’t it?” and it’s true. The combination of wonderful employees, especially Nakarid, a spectacular location and great accommodations make Bucuti&Tara the best place in the Caribbean for a romantic vacation.

We have been vacationing in Aruba for thirty years and I must say this four star resort is beyond a ten. Rooms basically are all the same except for size and location. What makes this Resort special is the staff. They are beyond a ten and you won't find better anywhere. The other plus is it's an adult only hotel. Check out the Bucuti Tara web site you will be impressed. Reservations are a must, they always are close to capacity. We will be back to this one.
