The best resort in the Caribbean. The service was excellent. The view from our private balcony was fantastic.

I’m going to keep this useful and to the point for anyone considering staying here. In a nutshell, the Bucuti and Tara is a beautiful, warm, welcoming, intimate boutique hotel on a stunning beach and we had the perfect week here! Every 5-star review is absolutely warranted! First tip: READ THEIR WEBSITE!! Especially the “what we are NOT” section. If you don’t read that and come here expecting a party hotel, I have some bad news for you. This is a tranquil oasis, which is exactly why we picked it. I did not want a Vegas-style party scene at the pool, or a casino, or kids running around splashing and being obnoxious while their parents down cocktails and don’t watch them. It’s peaceful and perfect for relaxing! Food is wonderful! FREE buffet breakfast with made to order omelettes and Belgian waffles. Delicious coffee with all day refills and complimentary travel mugs. DO NOT SKIP TERRA! One of the best meals we had. I wish we did the chef’s tasting menu, it was that delicious. Reserving your beach chairs the day before is genius! And don’t worry about getting a “good spot.” They’re all good and the beach loungers are cushioned and wonderful.You walk down in the morning to your towels on the chair waiting for you. Raise the flag for beach service! Rooms are amazing. Temperature was perfect. Tempurpedic beds and pillows were awesome. Cleaning service is incredible and the turn down with tea at night was a beautiful touch! STAFF!! I will hold every hotel to this standard now. Every single person we met was friendly and accommodating. And our interactions with them were a highlight of the trip! Shout outs to Francisco, Karen & Juan! But everyone is a gem. Second Tip: book an island tour and snorkel with Vito. You will not regret it! It’s definitely a splurge, but there is a reason why everyone we met there has stayed multiple times. We can’t wait to go back!

OK, I'm going to try and not repeat everything that has already been said because it's absolutely true. From the moment we arrived we knew we had made the right choice. My wife and I just wanted some rest and relaxation for our 16th anniversary. This hotel provided exactly what we needed. The service, the food, the vibe, the beach was everything we were looking for. We could have done nothing for 4 days but rest on their wonderful chairs with umbrellas on the beach. Eagle Beach could be the nicest beach I've ever seen with the most turquoise Caribbean waters. Special thanks to Aisha, Raquelle, Juan for being some welcoming and hospitable. We had a couples massage at the spa and it was amazing. We ate at Elements, Ike's (next door) and Terra... All were great. The breakfast was way better than we expected. Just a great vibe all around. No wonder so many people return. Hopefully we can too. Thanks.

Excellent resort on a great location. No children or groups, great for relaxing time with your spouse. Highly recommend.
