Bucuti & Tara Beach Resort Aruba

Once we found Bucuti we knew we had found our yearly home on Aruba. From the ease of checking in where you are greeted with a cool washcloth and a champagne where you don’t even have to stop at the desk to sign in, to relaxing on the stunning & roomy beach you are treated like their most valuable guest. Peaceful, beautiful, personalized, serene and elegant, Bucuti is steps above all the huge resorts. Well appointed rooms, super comfortable beds, fluffy towels, smooth linens, delicious included breakfast, twice a day room servicing, wonderful food and service and light music at their Elements Restaurant, we enjoy every moment. Watching the stunning sunsets from here is not to be missed. Ask for Israel at Elements to wait on you, Greg at the Sandbar makes excellent drinks, Angela and Francisco of the concierge team so very helpful. Team there works hard to always have taxis available for your trips off the resort. Make sure to read “what we are not” so you know what to expect. So wonderful not to put up with cigarette smoke or loud personal speakers (and frankly, the misbehaving children of others) and no rising at dawn or fight to get a palapa. An excellent fitness center, also spa and wellness options abound. They also have Bucuti-only activities like their sunset catamaran sail-so romantic and relaxing. Can’t wait to go back!

The moment we arrived after a long flight, we were greeted by staff at the front door with champagne and cool washcloths, then escorted for a short property tour before being shown our room. The staff here is amazing, rooms are very clean with am and pm service. Frette linens and bedding complement the contemporary decor. Elements breakfasts, which are included, are top rate with everything you could possibly want. Wait staff is frequently checking in on your needs. No other resort comes close to the excellent experience here!!

Another awesome trip to Bucuti. In addition to the physical beauty of the property and beach, what really makes Bucuti special is the genuine warmth and friendliness of the entire staff from bellmen, housekeeping, dining/beverage, and front desk to G.M. Rik with his breakfast visits. Really good breakfast - with great variety and quality in both healthy and indulgent choices. What is also very nice is that all of the front desk staff double as concierges, so there is usually no wait to talk to someone. I interacted with several different people, and they were all friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. And of course, the beautiful, clean, seaweed-free turquoise sea that is entered from soft, white sand. The icing on the cake is that soft sand is stocked with an abundance of umbrellas and comfortable lounge chairs that you can obtain without a struggle ! Can't wait to go back next year.

Just returned from a week stay. From the moment you arrive, till the moment you leave the staff goes above and beyond to assist you. They make you feel special each and every encounter. The beach is gorgeous. We enjoyed the restaurants and the breakfast is the perfect start to your day. I can see why guest return each year. We also will be returning next January. We have been to Bucuti & Tara at least a dozen times. We have traveled extensively and we love this place. It's like a home away from home.
