Reviews for Coworth Park Hotel, Ascot

A SPA TO FALL IN LOVE WITH…sheer excellent, perfection, highest standards and great value

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 day ago

This is purely a review of the spa at Coworth Park, which I cannot recommend highly enough. Over the years, I have visited the rest of them in the area and none come anywhere close. Although we have a home in Ascot we have stayed at the hotel on a number of special occasions since it opened. We have also been dining at Coworth’s restaurants for years and have always enjoyed The Terrace, The Barn and especially Woven which is way superior on every level to a number of other 2 Michelin star restaurants, including one not far away, which I reviewed some years ago and would never return to. The Spa at Coworth was refurbished last year with added facilities to a level of perfection unheard of locally in any of the other spa hotels in Sunningdale, Ascot, Bracknell and elsewhere within a reasonable drive. All of the team at The Spa are exceptional and the condition of the gym, the pool, the changing rooms, and all of the other facilities are maintained to perfection at all times. I used to be a member of the spa at a nearby hotel where the England Rugby Team used regularly and I walked out, wasting the balance of my membership due to the poor standards. Years before that I gave up my membership at another, substantial Sunningdale hotel spa, due to their poor standards. I have heard the most tremendous word-of-mouth praise since Coworth refurbished the spa. Since joining earlier this year, I visit every week when I am in the UK, there are never many people there at the same time, although I don't go weekends, so I don't know about that… No used towels left lying in the pool area and changing rooms…they disappear within moments, there are so many staff. No maintenance is required... everything is perfect, every last detail thought out. The changing rooms are excellent, everything you could may need is provided. The lockers are large and there are always two coat-hangers, a towel, a robe and disposable flip-flop in each one, unlike in other spas, where I have found hygiene unsatisfactory, lockers broken, security poor and having to search for clean towels and coat-hangers. That is the reality of the level of the competition that I have actually experienced elsewhere. The pool temperature is perfect, the atmosphere lovely, the Coworth signature shampoos/shower gel/conditioner ( same as provided in the hotel’s suites ) are all lovely. The showers are fantastic no matter how strong you want them to be, they deliver the pressure. Treatment rooms are lovely, therapists are excellent. The spa café is always available. Everything is high quality, especially the towels, which, along with anything else you may need are present in abundance. I love the exercise machines in the gym, which are all the latest state of the art and a pleasure to use, especially choosing a coastal town in Italy on the screen to cycle around for half an hour or so. After exercising, I usually help myself to an apple and occasionally a banana and a bottle of water in the take-away reusable metal containers, available in the gym and in the changing rooms. It is a pleasure simply driving to the spa as it involves a circuit of Coworth's beautiful grounds, where there are always horses to be seen and occasionally ponies. Like the spa, the grounds are all immaculate. Everything about Coworth Park is as good as it gets. This has a lot to do with the dedicated and highly talented management led by Zoe Jenkins. I often chat to staff, and no matter what job they do, they are impressive, talented and more often than not have university degrees, or qualifications from top hospitality colleges and are clearly on a trajectory leading eventually to senior hospitality management. Anyone with Coworth Park on their CV clearly know what they aiming for. Spa Director Charlotte Parsons is doing a wonderful job…as are all of her team. It is worth staying at this hotel just to visit the Spa... which is the icing on a wonderful cake. I was in very early recently, probably the first there and so I took the opportunity to take the photographs I am attaching. To take a look at them all, as they really do Illustrate my review. Coworth Park spa is exclusive and is so very good that it represents excellent value and memberships come with a lot of bonuses.

Nothing short of 5*s for 5* hotel

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 3 weeks ago

This is an exceptional hotel. Nothing short of 5*s for 5* hotel. Thank you to all the team (inside and outside and some who are invisible; kitchens and housekeeping) for a truly memorable stay the weekend of March 7th 2026. Even if the skies were grey and gloomy the hotel and grounds were such a magical retreat from the "real-world" for a re-set weekend and we did loads of walking in both the grounds, and the full loops of Virgina Water (c.4.75miles) and enjoyed the health-complex, the afternoon log fires, and some spetacular food at both the Barn but also Coworth's hit attraction of Michelin-starred Woven. The rooms and appointments throughout the main house and the stunning bedrooms are lux but ultra-stated and the whole hotel has that solid, timeless, quality feeling that immediately puts you at ease. Particular thanks to General Manager Zoe who helped organise our stay and huge credit to overseeing such a capable team and much-deserved 5* hotel status. with our thanks, S + A

What a treat

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

Booked as a present for my husband's 50th and it did not disappoint - we were so well looked after from the second we arrived and made to feel very special. Special mention to Andre who was so kind, caring and attentive. Our room was gorgeous and the special treats a wonderful surprise. We had dinner in Woven and WOW - every mouthful was amazing and didn't want it to end!

Great stay at Coworth Park, will return - with thanks esp. to Zoe Morgan

TripAdvisor Traveler Review Rating Reviewed 1 month ago

After a couple of teething issues at first, often the way, but we had a lovely few days. Our bathroom night light didn't work, and we often get up in the night for a little tinkle, so we needed a soft light, and the phone chargers didnt work by the bedside table. Zoe Morgan was just fabulous and got it all sorted with a smile on her face and a really patient and friendly attitude. She is like the Mary Poppins of Coworth Park, and guest relations!!! She even showed us other rooms in case we wanted to move. Zoe J ( GM ) if you are reading this, then as Im sure you're aware, Zoe M is a fabulous member of your staff. Place is spotless and well kept, spa treatments are super. The food in Woven is worth the spend, and a culinary delight. A huge shout out to Tom and Annabel there, and Matthew and Benji who work elsewhere at CP. Your 5 ( including Zoe ) are the team that will drive us back to Coworth, instead of us weekending at Chewton Glen or Lucknam Park. Thank you all, beautiful gardens, friendly staff especially those whom I've mentioned and all in all a truly great retreat. We will see you next time. Miss Summers, room 38
