Stayed two nights with my family. We used most of the facilities at the hotel during our stay and my only conclusion is that the place is extremely well run. It's not perfect but very close. Accommodation - the room was splendid. Hugely comfortable. Communal areas - very relaxing and comfortable. Grounds - just fabulous, beautiful gardens - quite superb. Staff - very friendly and concerned about guests having a good time. Everyone went the extra mile and were very nice to my three year old son (grounds person stopped to point out some chicks by the water ; one was concerned about safety with an open fire door) Bar - top notch cocktails. They took a while but the wait was worth it. Spa - the pool has designated kids hours and it's a great pool. Most guests don't bother with showering beforehand, so Japanese guests would be horrified but it's not really the hotels fault. Allowing people in outdoor shoes into the pool area is perhaps something they could control better (my local municipal swimming pool strictly enforces shoe covers for example, why could a 5* hotel not manage this?) Fine dining restaurant - expensive and perhaps not offering fair value but it's a hotel and not a city with extensive competition. However, the standard of cooking is very high and the service is slick. Room service / extras - super efficient and professional. The Barn (informal eatery) - this had it's moments (again, thoughtful extras to mark a special occasion) however my fish and chips were dismal and genuinely awful - soggy batter and unexciting fish. The whole recipe and technique needs to be re-worked as it's a fantastic British dish when done correctly. To be balanced, other dishes were good but the service was a little muddled. Not as seamless as the rest of the hotel. Afternoon Tea - very, very good. A classic experience with truly brilliant staff. A small quibble on a 30 minute phone call to London (charged at £37, representing a £1/minute charge on a call that costs £0.02/minute) but this was waived after some tenacity by myself but not immediately. The management of Coworth Park are to be truly commended. Both the service, maintenance and operational standards are as good as any English country house in The UK. Strongly recommended.

We popped in for lunch ( without a reservation ) on our way through to the Cotswolds. A family with young children. Although unfortunately for the afternoon tea there was no late availability however we were very well accommodated for in the lounge with the lunch time bar menu. Attentive service, good food and a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. Will now have to go back to stay!!!

This hotel is my favourite hotels ever!i would live here if i could! it has everything you want for a beautiful country break! The spa is lovely, and has a beautiful swimming pool, with highly trained therapists offereing great treatments. The hotel itself is just lovely, i have only ever stayed in the stable rooms which are lovely and you are given buggy rides to them so you dont have to walk (even though they are so close to the main building). Make sure you have dinner in the barn, the food, staff and atmosphere are all amazing. Also, they have wonderful horse stables there which i would recommend using, the horses are lovely and the hack you are taken on is beautiful. Highly recommend!!!

I had a meeting over dinner. The food was excellent and the service and ambience were all first class. It was very relaxing too. I would assume it would be just as good for couples and social occasions.

A friend and I have just had a fantastic day at the Spa. We chose the champagne Spa day which includes drink and muffins on arrival, 4 1/2 hours of wonderful spa treatments, a glass of champagne with delicious lunch and use of the pool. Each treatment was amazing...body scrub, massage, facial, manicure and pedicure. Excellent value at an exceptional venue, we'll be back.
