On arrival, the bellboys greeted us like old friends, relieving us of our luggage and guiding us into the reception. First impressions count and this band of cheerful - helpful gentlemen immediately set us at ease. The check-in time at Coworth Park is 3.00pm, so we would have to wait for two hours before our room would be ready. The hotel was busy, fully booked in fact, but the receptionist took time to give us a brief tour of the facilities and handed us a map of the grounds. After a stroll around the gardens, we had a somewhat disappointing light lunch on 'The Terrace'. We were then taken by buggy to our room located in the Stables complex. It was one of the hottest days of the year, so it was a relief to find our air conditioned room was pleasantly cool. A 'welcome' cake designed as comical horse amongst bright green and brown piped icing (It was Ascot racing week) was not what you would call 'refined' and didn't really add anything. A couple of small French patisserie cakes or hand made bon bons would have been a better option for me. The king-size bed was comfortable, but the pillows were too soft and offered very little support. The 'cosh-like' remote control for the T.V. had limited functionality, but otherwise the room and its facilities were very good. The copper-clad bath, shower and toilet cubicles were modern and spacious and more importantly, everything worked. Enquiries and requests made via the 'Client Services' on the room phone were dealt with promptly. We ate at The Barn and also at The Restaurant and will offer reviews on these locations separately. Overall, we very much enjoyed our stay at Coworth Park, partly because the room was good, but also because the food in The Restaurant was good. The friendly and helpful staff are a credit to this establishment. As Arny would say 'I'll be back!

We stayed at Coworth Park to avoid London! We were to have a 2 night short stop before heading for Europe but the terrorist attack on Tower Bridge had frightened us a little. With 4 children in tow, we did not want to be looking over our shoulders all the time. Coworth Park was not quite London but it had something for everyone in our party for 9. Tennis and horse riding for the children great gym and spa for the adults and a most comfortable and relaxing stay for ll. We loved the grounds and the peaceful solitude. The food in the bistro wasn't what we were hoping for and took a long time coming but breakfast was wonderful. Service at every juncture was to notch and we were certainly happy with our stay.

Overall a great hotel in Ascot, great restaurants, grounds and staff. We stayed in the Mansion House Premium Suite which featured one bath and two toilets and a spacious living and dining room area. Fantastic stay with buggies provided to drive guests around the grounds. However, guests with AMex cards when booking suites are allowed to checkout at 4pm instead of regular time, I believe the hotel should inform the next guests that they will be checking in late as our room was not made available until 5:30pm - we too had AMex privileges of checking out at 4pm but not nice to arrive at a hotel at 12pm told early check-in is available and then not have a room until 5:30pm, good but bad as well. The hotel did redeem themselves by giving us our drinks for free as we waited for our room to be ready in the lobby area but would have appreciated better notice.

We stayed at Coworth Park for various occasions such as Easter, New Years or simple weekends away from the city when we still lived in London. When based in London, it is incredible convenient - 45 min drive from Knightsbridge. Heathrow is about 25 min. We love the location (virgina water, windsor nearby), the excellent facilites (great spa, pool and gym), outstanding friendly staff, beautiful design and finishes to the highest standard. food is great too - i even got the receipe for the bircherm├╝sli at breakfast. barn is casual but really nice for lunch or dinner. For kids (we have three) there s a converted mews house full of toys and of course, horse riding at the stables (officially from age 4). sometimes prince harry stops by to play polo and we also met angelina jolie & family on a prior stay ... to sum up, it s a great place, very well kept, works well with kids, we d always go back! we clearly recommend this place!

Nice rooms and beautiful garden. Friendly staff and really good food. Breakfast was definitely out of this world. I was really disappointed with the spa, nothing extraordinary besides the beautiful pool.
