My husband and I decided to make a quick trip with our kids and our dog up to Asheville. It had been a hot minute since we got to travel anywhere! So he took us here! WOW!!! Amazing! if you are into art and elegance on an old way or think old hunting lodge...this is it! On every floor is beautiful art hanging on the walls and busts on each floor! In the lobby is a large fireplace that is so inviting. Just loved watching the people sip on their drinks enjoying the glow! My only issues with the place, and why I gave it a 4 star, is because we had ordered an appetizer to be room service. We were told 30 minutes. We had driven all the way there without anything to eat, so we thought we would just have a bite then figure out where to have dinner. The appetizer, of sausages and cheeses, did not show up until over an hour later. And then they never gave us bread! This is my only complaint! Otherwise...it was a great stay!

I am a light sleeper, I admit. The room, hotel and location in Asheville are good. The hotel is expensive but you do get what you pay for. The restaurant was good, I had elk for the first time. I apparently like elk. Who knew? Our room was nice BUT, room 1 is across the street from the main lodge. It was raining when we arrived so that wasn’t nice. The room we had (#1) over looked a large intersection with a view of McDonalds and some train tracks. Vehicle noise was significant beginning about 6 am. But the TRAINS! How are there reviews mentioning the trains? 4 over the course of the night. There is a train crossing 100 yards from our room, which means not just the trains, but also the HORNS. I did not sleep well.

Stayed here 1 night on our drive to Charlotte and this place is awesome. Very professional front desk staff. The hotel itself is lovely. The curator did an excellent job in selecting tasteful Bavarian antique decor. The room and especially bathroom were lovely. Huge bathtub and top end amenities, bath salts, bubble bath & Starbucks coffee. The bar scene is not to be missed. The drinks and food were great. We will be back.

I arrived at the Grand Bohemian Hotel, in Asheville, NC, for a single night stay. Valet parking was easy; roughly $20/night. My check in process smooth. The front desk attendants very efficient and helpful. Multiple people provided me high recommendations leading up to my stay at the Grand Bohemian Hotel. Everyone complimented how wonderful and convenient the hotel was in relation to Biltmore Village shopping, village dining and accessibility for touring the famous Biltmore House Estate. The hotel inside and out very nicely designed and decorated, to blend with the surrounding scape. The decor exhibits a rustic lodge, with a cozy comfort, yet modern feel. One of the best hotel features is the fireplace, upon entrance. Surrounding the fireplace are multiple areas perfect for sitting to enjoy conversation or cocktails with companions. The dim lighting throughout the Grand Bohemian Hotel added an attractive, soothing ambiance. I proceeded to my fourth floor room. Upon opening the door you could hear the soft sound of jazz being played. Not only was the room visually appealing, it included a king size bed, a mini bar, a soak tub, separate shower and commode. The room was a very open, airy space. No view, just one small window you could walk over to and pier upon some of Biltmore Village. The bed was made up with Pacific Down brand feather comforter and lots of wonderful plush pillows. There was also a complementary coffee station. The wine and water in the room available for purchase. Room service menu provided, along with free WiFi. The room, bed and bathroom all very clean. The only downside was my discovery of a dirty water glasses beside the lavatory area. Which was an unfortunate find, since the water glasses are actually made of glass; not plastic nor paper. At checkout, the attendant asked if my stay was comfortable. I assured him I did sleep well. I informed him of my water glass issue. The attendant was very kind, expressing many apologies and made a note to pass long. Final thoughts: I believe the location of the Hotel, is in an optimal location. The Grand Bohemian Hotel is a Marriott owned property. You are allowed to use Marriott Points to book and pay for your stay. The Red Stag Grill restaurant, located inside the hotel, has previously been discussed under my food reviews. The Grand Bohemian Hotel definitely conveys the appearance of attempting to compete with the other surrounding Biltmore Estate owned hotels and The Grove Park Inn. I am not convinced The Grand Bohemian rises to the same level of quality and service. I would stay at the hotel again for two reasons: 1). The location is a very convenient perk😀 2). Now I need to provide a Poseidon Spa review😉
