The hotel itself is very attractive and would be 4 or 5 stars based purely on aesthetics. It is styled as a hunting lodge and has a very nice feel to it. The rooms are well sized, but have curtains in the bathrooms instead of doors and frosted glass on the water closet (not conducive to a romantic stay). The location is good, being in the Biltmore Village area it is a quick drive (though not walkable) to Biltmore Estate or downtown Asheville. The downside to the hotel is that they will not miss any opportunities to squeeze their guests for more money. The parking is valet only and costs $20/day. The spa runs over $400 for an 80 minute couples massage, yet the entire operation is about the size of a single hotel room and has none of the amenities of similarly priced establishments nearby such as the Grove Park Inn. No sauna, pool or even bathroom at Poseidon, despite a top of market price tag. They don't have complimentary water in the rooms and even bath salts for the in-room jacuzzi will run you an extra $20. The exceptional pricing of the hotel would knock it down to a 3 or 4 star review. The reason that I am writing a two star review, however, was the sticky fingered housekeepers. I took my wedding ring off and left it on the vanity one morning and forgot to put it back on prior to leaving. I called as soon as I returned home and told them exactly where the ring was located, but surprise it had vanished without a trace. They have assured me they will call me with any updates, but after several days I doubt a gold ring will reappear. All in all, not a bad hotel. Certainly not on par with other luxury hotels in the area, however, and I wouldn't chance another stay knowing what I do now.

So happy I booked this hotel and not the other stuffy hotel that was of comparable price. I arrived very late (after 2:00 am) and was given the last room in the hotel near the elevators on the 2nd floor. I asked to be moved the next day and was pleasantly surprised - I was given a large king room/suite on the top floor. Bed is very comfortable, room is clean & the soundtrack playing is a nice touch. Located right in biltmore village and walking distance to shops, Starbucks, etc. The front desk staff and valet are extremely courteous, helpful and friendly. I have not spent much time in the hotel but have checked the bar/restaurant when I arrive/leave and it's a ghost town. It is unfortunate that the bar doesn't match the decor/ambience. The hotel has a very cool vibe to it so I assumed it would be a fun place to hang out, but I've only witnessed older couples in there or an empty bar at 11:00 pm. Would absolutely come back and stay, again. **important to note there is a main building and a building across the street. I stayed in the main lodge.

Really enjoyed our stay at Grand Bohemian Asheville. Great service, especially from valet team. They drove us and picked us up from dinner most nights. Really nice upstairs courtyard for hanging with friends.

This hotel is a small boutique hotel with a hunting lodge theme. We stayed on the top floor (4th), the room was large with an open bathroom design. Curtains can be pulled for privacy. Valet parking only costs extra. Spa is very small. More the size of a walk-in closet. Five guests in the waiting area was very crowded! Couples massage with hot stones was wonderful but resort fee of 22% added, which DOES NOT include gratuity. Spa treatment nice but spa itself was not impressive. Resort fee of 22% added daily and was NOT disclosed prior to entering credit card information to reserve room. Resort fees added 50% surcharge on top of room rate. Very nice hotel but not a good value for money ($600/night). Dinner and bar food and service were excellent. Highly recommend trying the Elk loin dinner. Wonderful... This hotel too far out of Asheville to explore the city but the Biltmore Village is charming and only takes a couple days to see it all. Next trip will be to downtown Asheville to allow walking tours of the city.

My husband and I stayed here for one night. We had a beautiful king room in the manor. It's design was quite striking. It gave you the feeling you were staying in an old world European hunting lodge. Our room had large windows next to the train tracks, but the train didn't really bother us. It's a fun place to stay and all the staff was quite helpful and friendly. It's also an easy walk to several restaurants and a Starbucks.
