We stayed at Grand Bohemian for a department retreat/planning session. The staff were very accommodating during the planning stages to make sure all of our needs day of were taken care of. We had a smaller group and were able to spend our day in the Red Stag Private Dining room which was a perfect size for the 8 of us to have ability to freely move around for different planning exercises. The food was wonderful throughout our stay. The lobby was a very welcoming environment with the four-sided fireplace and chairs and couches surrounding. Many groups would come and go throughout the day using this area as a social space. Our team was able to sit at one of the couch areas both nights we were there while enjoying drinks and desserts after dinner. We even pulled out some cards games to play hanging out and bonding. The other guests at the hotel were all very welcoming and friendly when we engaged in conversation with them also. The Biltmore is right across the street making that a great and easy teambuilding activity with a group. We visited the house and then the winery before having dinner at Cedric's tavern and returning to the hotel. There are also a number of restaurants within walking distance which is ideal for a business trip to avoid scheduling lots of Ubers. The rooms were large and well-kept and since no rooms are located on the main floor it is quiet in the corridors. We couldn't have been more pleased with our stay and I would highly recommend if searching for a productive, engaging, and energizing atmosphere to host your business meeting.

I didn’t realize there were two buildings, and I had to cross the street several times in the freezing cold. The restaurant doesn’t have any restrooms, and I was also woken up multiple times by barking dogs on my floor.

The Grand Bohemian Lodge was the perfect hotel for a Christmas visit to see the Biltmore and Asheville. While the Biltmore Village area was still looking quite sad in 2025 after the 2024 hurricanes—with many shops and restaurants still boarded up—the Grand Bohemian Lodge was fully ready for visitors. The hotel has a fairy-tale village feel, and our room was spacious and comfortable. The bed was incredible, with exceptionally luxurious linens. We had dinner at the restaurant both nights and enjoyed each meal very much. The staff truly embodied hospitality throughout our stay. Our only minor complaint was that the room hadn’t been made up by 3:45 p.m., when we were tired after a long day exploring the Biltmore. The hotel is definitely on the pricey side, but it felt fitting for a visit centered around the Biltmore estate.

The Grand Bohemian Hotel Asheville is a beautiful boutique hotel, decorated in the style of a Vanderbilt hunting lodge, located across from the entrance gate to Bilmore Estate and inside the Biltmore Village... many
shops within easy walking distance. A wonderful holiday!
