Grand Bohemian Hotel Asheville

My husband, our dog, and I were moving across the country and had never visited Asheville before. We chose to stay at the Grand Bohemian (the Manor) because of it's proximity to the Biltmore and we were definitely NOT disappointed! First, when we arrived at the hotel, the valet were so quick and efficient to unload all the bags we had with us, as well as ensure our car would be safe in their parking garage (since it was loaded for our move). They took our luggage across to the Manor and it was in our room before we were even there. Then, at check-in, they offered us a glass of champagne, gave us a quick orientation on the village, and we were off to check out our room. Not only was it a beautiful and comfortable place to stay, but they made our dog, Hagrid, feel so welcome (see the photos). Note: While this doesn't downgrade our score, there can be traffic noise at night and the pet fee is a bit pricier than other pet fees.

We’ve stayed at this hotel multiple times and have never been disappointed. The hotel is beautiful, but what truly makes the experience fantastic are the people. From the friendly front desk staff to the attentive housekeeping staff, everyone we’ve encountered has been welcoming. We even had a maintenance person ask us how our stay was and expressed his disappointment to see us leave. And if you’re staying there or in the area, you must try the Red Stag Grill, a terrific restaurant.

Food & beverage matched the setting: elevated, delicious, and impeccably timed, with service that anticipated needs before they were spoken. Both the front-of-house team and the behind-the-scenes crew were exceptional—gracious, proactive, and genuinely proud of the experience they were creating. As an event planner, the entire process was seamless. Communication was clear, logistics were smooth, AV and room sets were flawless, and our guests felt truly cared for. The result was an event that left a lasting impression on attendees and speakers alike. I would change nothing—this property not only meets the Autograph Collection standard of a hotel with a unique story; it lives it.

The hotel is absolutely stunning! The artwork, the decor, furniture, and ambience is A ++ The valet Employee, Anthony, was absolutely charming, professional, efficient, and very heartfelt. He did a great job.! This was a very special time, as this was my 60th birthday! My sister and brother-in-law treated my three day getaway here in Asheville. We could’ve chosen anywhere, but chose here and we were very thankful and blessed!

This hotel has been remodeled after Hurricane in 2024 and is stunning. The room are spacious, clean, and well appointed and the location is prime! I cant say enough about the staff. Anthony, the valet, was particularly helpful. Anytime we asked for anything, he was on it! That man needs a raise! Overall 10 out of 10 stars!
