This hotel is gorgeous. Quite possibly the most beautifully decorated hotel I have ever stayed in!!! The rooms are spacious and the bath rooms are huge! Everyone is super friendly. I would definitely come back here!!!

I just stayed at the hotel July 15 - 18th. It is in a neat hotel with a great location within the village if that is your preferred area. The hotel itself is just "ok" considering the price point. We were in room 232, their largest style suite. When the cleaning staff is working on rooms on the floor, they go in and out of their supply room (I assume that is what it is) across the hall slamming the door nonstop during the day. When the washing machine is running, the pipes howl into the late afternoon/early evening. During the night, the train goes through blowing it's horn. Needless to say, we didn't get much rest. We reported this to front desk with no real comment or follow up!

The hotel is very nice and does well for the limited location. What makes the hotel so incredible is the staff. Without question the best staff ever. Beautiful, clean, and an unreal staff makes this hotel a must stay location.

My husband and I stayed here one night, just to see how the Grand Bohemian compares to the accommodations on 1) the Biltmore Estate; and 2) at the Grove Park Inn, also in Asheville. All three hotels are upscale and comfortable, with nice restaurants. The Grand Bohemian offers only valet parking, which was very efficient, but less convenient for our needs. The major downside to the location is the traffic noise! Sirens from emergency vehicles were frequent, and the streets surrounding the hotel are very busy with cars and trucks...we like to walk around, but the adjacent avenues were downright hostile to pedestrians on the weekday of our arrival. The restaurant is good, which is fortunate, as our attempts to check out nearby eateries made us want to retreat to the hotel, as soon as possible. Once was enough for us. Others might fare well here, however. I am glad that we stayed at the Grand Bohemian, to satisfy our curiosity.

Upon check in we were offered champagne and it must have been an uncrowned weekend because they upgraded us. The room was under someone's name that didn't even have Marriott status. The associates were amazing! Everyone said "my pleasure" instead of "you're welcome". Everyone was so kind and helpful! This was my second time saying at this hotel and if I find myself in Asheville again this is where I'll be staying!
