Grand Bohemian Hotel Asheville

We really enjoyed the Bohemian! Staying in the manor house across the street, our room was big and beautiful. No traffic noise at all because room faced an alley. When we arrived, Perry greeted us with a glass of prosecco. They were experimenting with a happy hour at the Manor house, which we enjoyed. Crossing the busy street took some time, and many vehicles run red lights. A tunnel or skybridge would help......The valets were always quick. The restaurant/bar are so good we ate there every night. And the staff was friendly, especially Kelly, Austin, Perry, and Michael. The art gallery and art around the hotel were good. Yes it's pricey, but going on the offseason and weekdays helped.

It’s on the edge of town … so a drive into town ! The reception was trying to be like a hunting lodge but sadly missed the target ! The rooms old fashioned worn and very tired! The carpet so dark that you really don’t want to walk on it ! I monitored a piece of litter for two days … Bathrooms old but tarted up … The rooms and corridor areas smells of cigarettes - although that maybe the carpet - I really can’t tell ! The leather look upholstery was just too plastic The Stag heads in the Restaurent were very plastic The price was in my opinion was incorrect for the level of comfort The staff were super friendly and helpful !

The actual rating of this would probably be a 4.5. Awesome bar and restaurant on site. Food was fantastic and the restaurant we had a corner room that was spacious and beautifully appointed. Traffic through the night, however, was less than spectacular as it could be heard.

These guys did a great job. They are so professional. Best in the world. Best ever

Austin provided our transportation from the hotel to the golf tournament. He is an exceptionally safe and courteous driver, and I highly recommend his services.
