We spent two nights at the Grand Bohemian and had a fantastic time. The public areas are simply amazing and the attention to detail is very clear. I have traveled all over the world and this by far is one of the top hotels I have seen in this regard. The service is quick and efficient and the rooms are very comfortable. We were in one of the Kessler Suites and have nothing but positive things to say about it. After a day walking The Biltmore Estate the bubbling tub was exactly what we needed. One night we went to the Red Stag restaurant and it was equally as amazing. The head bartender was actually our waiter though we didn't sit in the bar area. He was extremely friendly and went above and beyond. One of their advertised cocktails wasn't available nor worries he improvised and came back with something perfect. If we came back to Asheville we would not hesitate to return. Thanks for the well needed break!

We had a great time, loved the accommodations, the food was excellent. It's a bit on the pricey side, but feel it was worth the experience. We've stayed at other resorts in Ashville and this has easily been our favorite so far. We will stay at the Omni Grove next time. We had a couples massage and really enjoyed it!

Brought my sister up here so she could experience the mountains and see Asheville, NC in the way I see it. Service from the moment we drove up was 5 star, and after a long drive it was most welcoming. Our room was large, I used the desk while my sister relaxed in a quite & very comfortable atmosphere. A long soak is exactly what I needed once I was able to settle down. The next day we signed up for massages after touring Biltmore, bought luxury products, and have memories of the area that are forever in our hearts.

The Grand Bohemian is built to look like a country estate and achieves that look. From the art hanging in the halls to the stag in the lobby the hotel welcomes visitors in so many ways. The check in desk where you sit and speak with the person checking you in to the bellman who meets you in your exquisitely appointed room; from the luxurious sheets to the oversized bathtub with a window into the room - every appointment was perfect. The room was sparkling clean and the patio view to the street where snow was falling was a wonderful, unexpected addition to the weekend. The staff is cheerful, helpful and prompt. In every way this is the place to stay in Biltmore Village. Our experience was perfect in every respect, including dinner in the Red Stag Restaurant. The location, just across the street from the Biltmore House entrance, is perfect. Reservations I am sure, are required.

The hotel itself is very attractive and would be 4 or 5 stars based purely on aesthetics. It is styled as a hunting lodge and has a very nice feel to it. The rooms are well sized, but have curtains in the bathrooms instead of doors and frosted glass on the water closet (not conducive to a romantic stay). The location is good, being in the Biltmore Village area it is a quick drive (though not walkable) to Biltmore Estate or downtown Asheville. The downside to the hotel is that they will not miss any opportunities to squeeze their guests for more money. The parking is valet only and costs $20/day. The spa runs over $400 for an 80 minute couples massage, yet the entire operation is about the size of a single hotel room and has none of the amenities of similarly priced establishments nearby such as the Grove Park Inn. No sauna, pool or even bathroom at Poseidon, despite a top of market price tag. They don't have complimentary water in the rooms and even bath salts for the in-room jacuzzi will run you an extra $20. The exceptional pricing of the hotel would knock it down to a 3 or 4 star review. The reason that I am writing a two star review, however, was the sticky fingered housekeepers. I took my wedding ring off and left it on the vanity one morning and forgot to put it back on prior to leaving. I called as soon as I returned home and told them exactly where the ring was located, but surprise it had vanished without a trace. They have assured me they will call me with any updates, but after several days I doubt a gold ring will reappear. All in all, not a bad hotel. Certainly not on par with other luxury hotels in the area, however, and I wouldn't chance another stay knowing what I do now.
