Grand Bohemian Hotel Asheville

Sandy and I have been traveling and enjoying Asheville, North Carolina for over 30 years, now. We usually visited with cycling group during and before our tours. This past week we were footloose and fancy free, but our go-to hotel, Doubletree Biltmore Village, was booked. This, inadvertently, gave us the opportunity to try a property we have long admired, the Grand Bohemian Lodge in the heart of Biltmore Village. What a fantastic experience! We read that it is more than a hotel. It is a destination, and man, that is so true. In all our traveling experience we have been to many fine hotels, worldwide, but this Grand Bohemian Lodge is certainly one of our top three hotel experiences. The property is stunning, our room was spacious and beautiful, the kitchen and dining, superb, but most exceptional was the staff with the highest level of professionalism of any American hotel we have visited. 5-Stars!

The valet service was top notch and very skilled. We were impressed by their speed and parking skills. They were very attentive and so pleasant to work with.

Really enjoyed our stay at the Grand Bohemian Lodge. The atmosphere was amazing and our room was fantastic. We will definitely return in the future. Great location if you are planning on visiting the Biltmore. Additionally, it is walking distance to several nice restaurants. Staff was amazing.

The Grand Bohemian Lodge has fully recovered from the extensive damage of the hurricane. Dining room especially has been restored to its former decor after being completely flooded. Service equals or exceeds what we experienced on a 'pre-flood' stay. Dining staff and valet parking staff were especially friendly and helpful. The room had been recently updated and had a comfortable bed and was very quiet--despite the busy time of our visit. Food was extraordinary.
