So, while staying at the Mansion on Forsyth Park in Savannah for the Second time in 10 days, we have mentioned to one of the hotel employee that while driving up north we are thinking of stopping in Asheville NC - Well, you must stay at the Grand Bohemian , our sister property. We had such a great time in Savannah that we thought that tho it will be a little more expensive - I guess due to the Calendar date - Checking out on New Years Eve - what the hec - you live only once so let’s do that. A day after while receiving the confirmation I called the hotel and explained that there are two mistakes on our reservation - first the rate wasn’t a Marriott Reward member rate, and that we wanted a king room not two queens The rate was corrected and the room stayed with a promise to try and change when checking in Checked in - no King room only 2 queens. Ok Our Quiet room was on top of the Hotel car entry way overlooking Hardee’s parking lot The room felt like a glorified Middle of the road motel, No refrigerator in the Room, No mini Bar, the decor was ok nothing that worth over $ 600 a night. (Including tax) It’s a price for a good hotel in NYC The Mansion on Forsyth park was $445 (including tax) with an amazing room, view of the park, sitting area, Dining Area etc ) An hour after checking in I have received an email from Marriott asking me to complete my reservation - since we did it directly from one hotel to another)offering me a King room for a lower rate At that stage I didn’t want to move and just cancelled our second night didn’t like the Attitude when we checked in Of “it is what it is” live with it kinda vibe Bottom line - it was an expensive disappointment totally not worth the money I believe that there must be other spots in Asheville NC that will cost a little less and you’ll feel much more welcome

Our Christmas lunch at Red Stag was wonderful. Our party of 9 had drinks in the bar and then lunch. Our server was Corinne and we had super service. Everyone loved the food. It is our tradition to lunch at the Red Stag during the holiday season. Can't wait until next year. Thank you all so much.

My husband and I recently stayed here to enjoy a two night getaway (kid free). It was everything we hoped for and MORE! The service was amazing our our Executive Studio King Suite was stunning!! It’s definitely a little bit pricer than other surrounding hotels, however, it’s totally worth it. And not to mention it’s located right across the street from the main entrance to The Biltmore Estate.

The Grand Bohemian, at the entrance to the Biltmore Estate, was one of the best hotel experiences we have ever had (next to the Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island). It is decorated as a hunting lodge and each floor is an art galley to itself with a specific theme. We only had one night, but wish we could have stayed longer. The dining and other services were excellent. We can't wait for an opportunity to return.

Had a chance to get a night away from the kids the weekend before Christmas and decided to stay here after seeing multiple images on-line plus its directly across the street from the Biltmore Estate which gave us the opportunity to take the candle light tour. It was a great place to stay. From the moment we entered the door you can realize the unique beauty of this place....You walk through stone arches to the lobby that resembles a lodge with a four sided fireplace and heavy influenced Victorian style lodge. Even as you walk down the hallways to your room you can enjoy the enveloping decor. The room tha we stayed in was a corner suite to was decorated so so over the top as the rest of the Hotel, but it was still nicely done. Would definitely stay here again. The whole staff from the receptionist, house keeping and the valet parking attendant we extra friendly.
