The room was nicely appointed and the bathroom was also very nice. However we were in the part across the street from the main hotel. We had a baby and a stroller and it was just very awkward the way you had to go between the two properties. Would be nice if they added a ramp to the front of the main hotel, so we didn't have to walk through the valet area to get to the restaurant or main desk. The walls of the rooms were also very thin. We heard a phone conversation, a dog barking and other unpleasant sounds. Also, the train tracks.... I have never seen such a busy train intersection. There had to have been at least 5 each night. The hotel needs to think about investing in better sound proofing, wasn't very relaxing for the price point. Location to the shops and Biltmore is fantastic. I realize that occupancy was higher than anticipated with the hurricane evacuees, but we also felt like they were understaffed for breakfast. We had to wait 10 min or so, for a table even though there were plenty of empty ones, because they didn't have staffing to accommodate. The staff that were working around the hotel were very nice, accommodating and we really appreciated the flexibility the hotel gave around the storm. But, a few touches could make this hotel so much better. I'm a loyal Marriott fan, so I would probably stay again, but next time would try to guarantee I was in the main part of the hotel.

Nice little hotel with a very good restaurant and bar. Rooms are all different, we had a corner with great windows and big shower. Valet parking with courtyard entrance. Across street from Biltmore entrance.

I saw their pictures online, looking for a nice place to stay on our way to the beach for vacation. Pictures really don't do it justice. Such a cool place, different and unusual. Large, spacious rooms, very clean. Awesome lobby and restaurant. Super staff, makes you feel very welcome.

We live an hour a way and come to Asheville 2 or 3 times a year. We stayed various places including Grove Park but narrowed hotels down to the best, the Grand Bohemian which is lower priced. Now the Grove Park's spa is better so we go to their spa but come back to the Grand Bohemian for a comfortable bed and beautiful elegant lodge decor. We top it off with a visit to their boutique where we usually buy local made jewelry then ALWAYS have dinner at the Red Stag Restaurant right there in the hotel. In walking distance is a nice outdoor mall if you want to do some shopping. The fancy McDonalds with the Grand piano is right next door. P.S. The staff at Grand Bohemian are always professional from the valets to the front desk to everyone at the Red Stag.

We totally was impressed with this hotel. Beautiful beyond words as most of their properties are!! Food was excellent and staff friendly. Outside traffic noise is loud... take ear plugs!! My facial was excellent in the spa. My husbands massage was good, he said. Sweet staff.... but when checking out at the spa... a 22% gratuity was added and was fine but then the receptionist starts her spill that the therapists only get a small portion and Yaya yada... can you give 20% more???? Freaking really?? Total sales ripoff and she says it so everyone hears and you feel bad if you don't. Won't go back.
