Beautiful location. The historic ambiance of the resort and location was breath taking. The service was exceptional. We had a room in the front historic section of the hotel. I truly loved the feel of the room but it needs some attention as it wasn't quite up to par for the price point of this hotel.

I’ve never seen such views! We were surrounded by beautiful scenery! You put all that aside the service was outstanding. The food was to die for and the spa was absolutely relaxing and wonderful. We had dinner at the Sunset Terrace restaurant. I think that’s what it’s called. My sister and I had rack of lamb. It was cooked perfectly and flavored wonderfully. The views were amazing even though it was later in the day. The next day i started my spa day with Sara for a massage. I must say it was a great way to start the day. Me and my sister met up after that we laid by the pool enjoyed lunch. I spent some time in the eucalyptus steam room, which was awesome. I have never had a experience like this, I never felt so pampered. I ended my day at the spa with a pedicure. Michelle was on point! We chatted and she really was the icing on the cake. I probably enjoyed my pedicure time at the spa the most 🤗 everything was wonderful though. We ended the evening with dinner at Vue 1913. Amy was great. She was very attentive, suggested things, and was sure to bring me out a birthday dessert. Overall, I had a fantastic birthday and I will recommend to everybody 🥳

Who would have guessed that a simple thing like a bathroom window with a view of the mountains would make that much difference, but it did. My wife and I opened all the windows (with wonderful screens), turned off the AC and enjoyed the cool mountain breezes during our 5 day visit to the GPI. We will definitely be back!!!

Overly crowded, not a good experience at all. Felt like a massive tourist trap. Hard to find a seat even in the massive lobby, all activities booked, difficult to get dinner reservations, very limited staff with a massive guest to staff ratio meant if felt like we were just in the middle of a huge crowd. So crowded that it was difficult at times even just to get down the narrow hallways. Not much in the way of activities that were available. We left early. Staff were polite and did what they could, but unless you like moving around in massive crowds, avoid this during the holiday season.
