The Gant

We booked a 2-bedroom, 2-bath Premier unit at The Gant in Aspen for July 5–13, 2025, paying $10,557 upfront. Arriving fully prepared, we were eager to enjoy a luxurious stay, but our experience was deeply disappointing from the start. The unit assigned to us, K102, was blatantly not a "Premier" unit as advertised. It was filthy, with stained carpets, soiled furniture, and a pervasive sewage and cooked meat smell that made it impossible to stay. We spent over two hours trying to air out the space, but the smell persisted through the vents, making it uninhabitable. The furnishings were outdated, dirty, and the appliances were filthy—completely inconsistent with the "high-end" furnishings promised on the website. We immediately contacted management, and they offered us only another unit, H103, which suffered from the same sewage odor and dated. We were told no better options were available due to holiday occupancy, with a staff member even remarking that all the "really nice units" were taken by owners. After hours of trying to resolve the issue, we felt compelled to leave the property that same day because of the uninhabitable conditions. We documented everything and emailed Guest Services explaining why we had to vacate, as the situation was unacceptable for $10,557. The hotel’s response was dismissive, offering a mere 10% discount—hardly reflective of the distress and inconvenience caused. Be very cautious if booking here based on the "Premier" label; the reality may be far from what’s advertised, especially during peak times, and the hotel may not have the inventory to meet expectations. Overall, an incredibly disappointing experience that fell far below standard expectations for the price tag.

Great location and property. The staff was amazing in every aspect. The shuttle proved to be a wonderful thing for someone with issues walking to town. For when we could walk in the location was great. We were in a two bed and it was so comfortable

We have stayed at the Gant many times. We love the great location with easy access to town, markets and mountains/paths. The rooms are spacious and well equipped. Pool, pickleball and other facilities are great. Staff is also excellent. My only complaint is that while there is a well equipped kitchen, there is only a drip coffee maker. A property of this quality and cost should have Nespressos or other high quality coffee in each condo.

This was our first stay at The Gant, but wont be our last. From top to bottom, it was a great experience. The whole staff, from reservations, the front reception staff, concierge, van drivers and maid service were all top notch. The unit was clean and very up to date. The whole condo complex is well taken care of in a close in location. Very walkable to all of Aspen, however, if you don’t want to walk, the vans can take you, and pick you up, anywhere in the town of Aspen. A great family vacation due in large part to The Gant.

The Gant is a beautiful spot to relax and enjoy the beauty of Aspen. Great facility with very help staff. The pool in the back is a great spot for reading and hanging out. Our room had a great view of the wooded pool area. Everything met or exceeded our expectations except the elevator, which we mostly avoided. The shuttle service was fantastic.
