My wife and I stayed at the Limelight for a short holiday for several nights. The hotel is just a block from shops and restaurants, and although the ski slopes at Aspen were closed, about 3 or so blocks from the lifts. Checkin was easy, and the clerk suggested paying $5 to park on the street (rather than the more costly underground parking at the hotel), which was a nice option. Our room was 238, which seems smaller than most with not much of a view. The room had a nice bathroom with a tub, and a nice touch was they had a humidifier in the room. (The air at this altitude can be very dry, and running the humidifier helps.) Overall the room and hotel were quiet, but on occasion one would hear a dog barking. (There was a dog a few doors down that would bark loudly whenever someone walked by the room.) Also, our room had a bit of a dog odor. The pool area is nice, with 2 hot tubs and a heated pool. Towels are available near the pool, but there were not any "spinners" that would dry one's bathing suit. Breakfast is included, and they have a nice buffet in the lobby. During the evening, it seems that the lobby is a gathering spot and become quite active and alive. We would definitely stay again.

Joined my husband on a business trip to Aspen and stayed at the Limelight. Really lovely hotel. Room was very spacious and well appointed. Great location. Great breakfast buffet included. Enjoyed happy hour in the bar. The front desk staff were awesome. Helped us find good restaurants, hiking and bike rental to do Ride the Pass race at last minute. Had bike helmets we borrowed. Super friendly helpful staff!!! Really enjoyed our stay.

This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel- both times due to business but this time I brought along my 3 year old, puppy and husband. They were so welcoming, hotel is very clean and updated, in a great location with a good breakfast to suit all dietary needs. We will absolutely return next time we are in Aspen.

Very friendly staff, excellent diner expirance and very good breakfast. Room was very clean, very comfortable bad. Small but "cute" balcony with gorgeous view! Highly recommended to all. Very impotence note - hotel allows guests with dogs. There were a lot of them and we loved it even though we were without dog.

This hotel is particularly good for families. There is a small pool and hot pool and you can walk out the front door and be in the heart of Aspen. The rooms are comfortable though there is sometimes a sound problem from the halls or the pool. It is the cleanest hotel I think I have ever seen. The staff is helpful. I wished food was served all day even though there are restaurants nearby. Reasonable prices!!
